Start in Brisbane, the capital of Australia's northeastern state of Queensland. This city offers a range of cultural and natural highlights that will appeal to the whole family, both within the city and nearby. Visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to learn more about one of the country's most iconic animals. Enjoy a guided tour of Australia Zoo, among other fun Brisbane-area activities. Then, head north to Port Douglas, a tropical town with abundant rainforest and reef adventures the whole gang will enjoy.
