Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Buenos Aires
Welcome to beautiful Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America! Upon arrival, a representative will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation.
After you've checked in and rested a bit, you will go on a walking tour of the Recoleta District. Your guide will let you in on the secrets behind the palaces, parks, and monuments of this luxurious neighborhood. Discover aristocratic Buenos Aires, with its magnificent architecture.
The tour starts at the Colón Theatre, then goes through the striking streets of the Retiro and Recoleta neighborhoods. You'll finish at the famous Recoleta Cemetery—the resting place of important figures like Evita Perón.
Day 2: Private Sailing Tour
Enjoy a day in contact with nature on a private sailing tour through El Tigre Delta. You'll sail for about an hour before anchoring for a delicious gourmet lunch. Take in the views as you dine in a romantic setting. In the afternoon, you'll sail back to the marina, watching how the river changes as the light of day begins to dwindle.
The evening is free to enjoy on your own. We recommend seeing a ballet or an opera at the grand Teatro Colón, considered one of the top ten theaters in the entire world!
Day 3: Tango Show and Diner
Spend a free morning and afternoon exploring the romance of Buenos Aires. Walk around the colorful La Boca District, or visit Puerto Madero for beautiful river views.
In the evening, you'll get to enjoy an internationally-renowned tango show. Tango is the music of Buenos Aires par excellence. Despite its humble origins in the brothels and the underworld districts of the city, this Argentinean dance has reached high-class ballrooms and worldwide recognition.
Although some shows sensationalize this beautiful dance, you will get to see tango as it was meant to be: a subtle dialogue between dancers, who are each other's center of gravity.
Chat with a local specialist who can help organize your trip.
Day 4: Mendoza Vineyards
Take an early morning flight to Mendoza, a beautiful region of Argentina known for its vineyards.
Upon arrival, a representative will greet you and transfer you to the scenic Uco Valley. During the last years, the valley has become the new frontier in Argentine winemaking, attracting winemakers from all over the world. It is home to many renowned wineries due to its premier-caliber vineyards.
Surrounded by the Andes Mountains, the valley boasts a privileged location. It has a semi-desert climate, with 330 yearly days of sun and great thermal amplitude—characteristics that favor the production of the region's famed wines.
In the afternoon, you will do a wine tasting in a cellar, along with a cocktail class. Then, you'll enjoy a six-course diner of delicious tapas marinated with wine.
Day 5: Wine Tasting & Barbecue in the Vineyards
Today's activity is a tour out of the conventional. The intention is to understand wine from a different perspective, from a path that starts in geology, develops in agronomy, and concludes in oenology. With this vineyard tasting, you'll be able to appreciate all that goes into the development of the region's wines.
You'll start with a walk through the vineyards to the Test Pits, where you can see the specific composition of the soil and the difference a few meters make. Enjoy a pairing of selected cheeses with a wine born out of different soils. This will help you taste what you have learned.
Afterward, you'll continue to tour the winery and head to the Tasting Room. Of course, you'll have another tasting here. The tour ends with a typical Argentinean asado (barbecue) in the vineyards.
But the day itself goes on! After the tour, you'll head to a spa that offers aromatherapy and vinotherapy treatments. These techniques hydrate and nourish the body with rich minerals and spring water packed with antioxidants. The treatments strengthen blood vessels and enhance circulation.
The spa is also equipped with a cedar wood sauna, an aroma steam room, a wet sauna, deep soaking hydrotherapy baths, treatment rooms, interior and exterior relaxation areas, a fitness center, and a hammam-style room. Relaxation and serenity continue outside with an infinity pool, a jacuzzi, a solarium, and a peaceful lagoon. At night, you will enjoy a romantic dinner at the accommodation.
Day 6: Uco Valley Winery Tour
Spend yet another wine-filled day with a tour to more Uco Valley wineries. Stroll around the vineyards and enjoy the beautiful views of the Andes Mountains in the backdrop. Of course, you'll get to enjoy more wine tasting, truly getting a sense of the region's local flavor.
In the evening, you'll have a romantic sunset picnic at a natural reserve.
Day 7: Transfer to Colchagua Valley in Chile
It is time to leave Argentina behind and head to Chile. You'll arrive at Santiago and immediately transfer to the Colchagua Valley. Located south of the capital, this valley is considered Chile's red-wine heaven.
Your first day will consist of mostly resting, taking in the beautiful surroundings of your accommodation, and trying different wines.
