What you'll do

Join us on a three-hour adventure through the Reserva Biológica Nosara as you kayak or standup paddleboard along the Rio de la Montaña. Your guide will provide interesting information about the environment and wildlife you spot throughout your journey, including the possibility of seeing howler monkeys and colorful birds in their natural habitat. Along the way, you'll paddle through the peaceful mangrove tunnels, taking in the beautiful scenery of this protected area.

After approximately two hours of paddling, you'll take a break at Nosara Beach, known for its unique black sand. Here, you'll have the opportunity to refuel with fresh fruit and take a refreshing dip in the ocean. Your guide will also share information about the beach's history and natural features.

Your adventure concludes with a paddle back to the starting point at Rio de la Montaña, where you'll have the opportunity to reflect on your memorable experience exploring the mangroves of the Reserva Biológica Nosara.

The guide is knowledgeable about the animal. We were able to see a lot of water birds and crocodiles. The fresh coconut water is very refreshing.
