• The spa is underground in the building's original cellar, and the pool is up on the rooftop with a terrace, loungers, and great views.
• Enjoy meals at the restaurant, which feels like a fun mix of gourmet, trendy, and traditional, all in a beautiful and historic setting.
• The hotel aims to hire as many local residents as possible, and the staff is known for its kindness.
• Even the standard rooms are bright, airy, cozy, and charming, but you can always upgrade to units with more space, private balconies, and sitting areas.

• Though you are tucked away a bit, the hotel is still in the middle of the city center, so it can sometimes get a little noisy. 
• It's nice to have perks like a spa and pool, but keep in mind that they're small. 

Authenticity

From the moment you step into the hotel, you're transported back to a time when Mallorca was a land of small villages, where traditional architecture and customs were the norms. The hotel's design perfectly blends the island's rich history and modern amenities, featuring rustic stone walls, wooden beams, terracotta floors, original doors, and more. The building dates back to the 16th century, a Renaissance palace with Gothic vestiges and a medieval courtyard. 

Location

Enjoy a relatively hidden spot on a narrow side street in Palma's buzzy Old Town. You'll be less than five minutes on foot from both Plaça Major and the impressive Basílica de Sant Francesc and just 10 minutes from the Catedral de Mallorca. Getting to the city's castle takes a bit more effort, almost an hour's walk, but you can also take public transportation or hire a private transfer for a shorter trip. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

The rooms at Posada Terra Santa are all beautifully decorated, from standard rooms to superior units and suites. Even the standard rooms feature traditional Mallorcan decor and are spacious and well-appointed with a bright, airy, and cozy vibe. The superior rooms offer even more space and luxury, with added amenities such as a balcony with views of the hotel's garden or pool. The higher-tiered rooms are the ultimate luxury, with separate living areas, four-poster beds, pillow menus, and excellent views. Some units offer two beds, so they're a great option for small groups or families. 

Amenities

Spend your time at the outdoor swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun on warm days. Other amenities include a fitness center, a spa, and a terrace with stunning views of the surrounding area, plus a bike rental service, which is a great way to explore the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is also wheelchair accessible with an elevator and some adapted rooms. 

Family-Friendliness

Although children are welcome at the hotel and infant cribs can be requested in advance for the under twos, the rooms are quite small, so families may need to book two or more rooms. There are services catering to families, like babysitting, and the restaurant is happy to cater to children’s tastes.

You can dine at the hotel's restaurant, which serves various local and international cuisine. The hotel also has a bar where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and socialize. The building itself is of historical significance, and while some of its relics were donated to Palma’s archaeological museum, you can still see some items on display at the hotel.
