El Llorenç Parc de la Mar—Adults Only, Mallorca

Pros

• The hotel's overall aesthetic is really appealing, as a Swedish designer and local Mallorcan artist created it. 
• With such a central location, you can easily walk to most of Palma's main highlights and even the beach.
• Enjoy relaxing in the hotel's spa since all room rates include complimentary access to all the pools, sauna, relaxation room, and more. 
• The rooms have underfloor heating, a pillow menu, tablets, a locally produced chocolate bar, and luxurious toiletries from Le Labo's Santal 33.
• Even the standard rooms feel plush, so you don't necessarily have to splurge to get the 5-star experience. 
• Although you'll be in the city center, the rooftop terrace feels like a beachfront oasis, with incredible views, trendy sunbeds, and umbrellas next to the pool. 
• A Michelin chef leads all three of the property's restaurants, and one of the eateries offers a unique tasting menu. 

Cons

• Parking is available, which is nice in the city center, but it's expensive at €35 per night. 
• The hotel is for adults only, so it's not an option for families (but those with older children can still book since the minimum age is 16). 

Authenticity

Enjoy staying in a unique space mixing modern and classic elements, a vision of the Swedish designer Magnus Ehrland. The Mallorcan artist Toni Font, who focuses on abstract compositions, historical images, and native plant life, developed the art you'll find throughout the hotel. 

Location

Enjoy a luxury stay right in Palma's Old Town, as you'll be within the historic walls bordering Parc de la Mar. All the city sites are within walking distance—nothing more than 15 minutes or so—including the Catedral de Mallorca, the Llotja building, the S'Hort del Rei gardens, and La Rambla shopping street. As a bonus, in just eight minutes, you can stroll down the pedestrian path to the start of the city's beach, Platja de Can Pere Antoni.

Even the standard rooms offer a refined, bright, and classic aesthetic with neutral tones and wooden elements. All feature floor heating, personal tablets, locally produced toiletries, and complimentary chocolate, and all room rates include full access to the hotel's spa. Most rooms have a small balcony or slightly larger terrace, and the suites add sofas.
