Pros

• The overall design is perfect for Mallorca, as the hotel has a rustic-boho-chic vibe that fits the island's hedonistic reputation.
• You can spend all day on the rooftop terrace, if you'd like, with its outdoor pool, sea and mountain views, and sundeck with cushy wooden sunbeds and loungers facing the beach. 
• There's a huge terrace on the ground floor with both covered seating and comfy sofas, chairs, and loungers for sunbathing. 
• The on-site restaurant serves indoor or outdoor meals, and the lounge bar is happy to offer drinks on either the terraces or in the lounge. 
• Enjoy the extra comfy rooms, with natural tones and textures to mimic the island's rustic nature, and all have sea and/or mountain views. 
• If you book a room with sea views, you'll also enjoy your own private, furnished balcony or terrace. 

Cons

• You'll basically be right on the beach but just keep in mind that it's not "beachfront," so you must cross the street to get to the sand. 
• With just three room types, there's little choice in terms of amenities. 

Authenticity

Hoposa's Hotel Pollentia perfectly brings the Balearic Islands' typical boho chic atmosphere into the rooms and common spaces. The intention is clear, and you'll find evidence in the raw wooden furnishings, the egg-shaped swings in the lobby, the barstools with cowhide, and the woven grass and driftwood decor. You get a bit of luxe with an island vibe, the perfect combination for Mallorca. 

Location

Nearly beachfront, Hoposa Hotel Pollentia is just across the street from the area's main beach and almost next door to its sister property, Hoposa Hotel Uyal. Just a few steps from the hotel are the sand and surf with beautiful views of the Bay of Pollença and the two rocky peninsulas that protect it. A 15-minute walk up the promenade takes you to the central part of the port, and you'll pass plenty of eateries along the way. If you'd like to explore the region, the Vall de Bóquer hiking area, the main town of Pollença, and a few other beaches are all just a quick 12-minute drive.

Rooms & Bathrooms

There are only three room types without much differentiation, so you get the same refined yet bohemian look regardless of your room tier. You can upgrade for sea views and balconies or grab a suite to add sofas. Otherwise, the rooms are fairly similar. All have earthy tones, textures to mimic the island's natural environment, and simple yet modern bathrooms with showers.  

Other Highlights

The rooftop terrace features an outdoor pool, sun loungers and sunbeds, and uninterrupted sea views. The ground floor also has a few amenities, including a lobby bar, restaurant, and terrace across the road from the beach. This common space follows the bohemian vibe with rustic furnishings and sunloungers and transforms into a dining area for meals.
