Authenticity

Hotel Macià Granada Five Senses, built in 1989 and renovated in 2016, offers a modern experience in Granada's historical center. Although it doesn't have the historic charm of older buildings, it incorporates local flair with Alhambra images on the wallpaper. The decor is sleek and minimalist, with contemporary white and cream furniture accented by primary colors. Location

Located on Gran Vía de Colón, a busy main street in Granada's historical center, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city. It's less than a five-minute walk to the Granada Cathedral and a 25-minute walk to the Alhambra. Shopping, restaurants, and bars are just steps away.

This was a clean and modern hotel. Not as close to some of the attractions as I would have liked, but was close to shops and restaurants.

Authenticity & Character
More modern and cold than the historic hotels we stayed in during our trip
Location
Need to expect to take a taxi to get to Alhambra. The walk is quite steep and a bit far. Easy walk to many restaurants.
Staff
They were helpful, but seemed busy all the time
Cleanliness & Comfort
Beds were a little low and the room had carpeting which may not be as clean, but you never know.
