Hotel Villa Singala, Pollença

Pros

• For a standard hotel option, this is an excellent location just about one block from the beach and near a few walking trails, including the famed Pine Walk along the shore.
• Though the rooms are pretty simple, some are more spacious than others and have furnished balconies. 
• The lobby is very charming and cozy, feeling like a homey living room with big chairs and sofas.
• You can take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool and relax in one of the sun loungers.

Cons

• Though it's nice to have a restaurant on the property, it's pretty basic, with just a small buffet selection for breakfast.

Authenticity

Enjoy staying in a traditional white-washed villa with red tiled roofs and wood beams. The hotel takes advantage of its location, with views of both the mountains and sea, and you can step out of the property and walk just one block to the beach and seafront walking trails. 

Location

Though not beachfront, Hotel Villa Singala is just around the corner from two paths that stretch down the coast. In just one minute, you can put your feet in the sand at Platja d'Albercutx. The same path leads to the center of Port de Pollenca, a 13-minute walk, where you'll find plenty of restaurants, shops, cafés, and bars to enjoy. The region's beautiful natural scenery isn't too far away, either. The start of the hike through Boquer Valley is just 10 minutes on foot from the hotel, and Cala Figuera is a 20-minute drive. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

Rooms at Villa Singala are laid back, simple, and a little dated. Some have slightly more colorful and authentic linens and decor than others, and if you prefer a bit more space, book a room with a balcony. Though sparse, the rooms are comfortable but don't expect any frills or perks. As for the bathrooms, they're basic with showers, and some feature antique tiling.
