Though apartment lodging is everywhere these days, La Bola Suites brought the concept to Ronda as the first business to provide this type of accommodation. To keep it personal and uphold the small-city mentality of Ronda, the company included a reception to welcome all guests. So you get the freedom of an apartment with the welcoming and support of a hotel.

Location

La Bola Suites eventually expanded and now incorporates two buildings in Ronda, one on Calle Almendra and the other on picturesque Plaza Carmen Abela. Both locations are just around the corner from a grocery store and allow you to walk to all the sites in the town center, including Puente Nuevo, Puente Viejo, the Mirador de Ronda, the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry of Ronda, and the 19th-century Alameda del Tajo park.

Rooms & Bathrooms

You have your choice of one- or two-bedroom apartments, all with modern furnishings and decor. The units on Calle Alameda keep things bright and trendy with neutral tones and small kitchens (no oven). The Plaza Carmen Abela units are bigger with dark wood elements and black-and-white decor, plus full kitchens with ovens and private terraces. All are good options; what you choose depends on your preference of amenities, location, and style.

Other Highlights

La Bola Suites offers a reception to welcome you to your apartment, though you can check in 24 hours if you arrive in Ronda after 10:00 pm when the reception closes. Though check-in isn't until 2:00 pm, you can store your luggage at the reception. Guests can enjoy a shared rooftop terrace (if staying on Calle Alameda since the units at the other location have private balconies).
