Pros

• This is an excellent option for those looking for apartment accommodation, as you have your pick of studios and units with up to four bedrooms.
• The location is prime: depending on your apartment, you'll be in one of two pedestrian plazas near the Valencia Cathedral.
• There's an option for a terraced apartment, which offers views of Valencia's skyline, including the cathedral's bell tower. 
• You'll have everything you need, including a full kitchen, washing machine, seating area (or separate living room), a Juliet balcony, and air-conditioning.
• The largest apartment has two levels, four bedrooms, and a beautiful outdoor terrace with an outdoor cooking area.

Cons

• As an apartment option, you won't have any perks or amenities as with a traditional hotel, such as a reception area, on-site dining, lounges, etc. 
• Some of the furnishings and rooms in the apartments seem a little generic and plain. 

Authenticity

Mon Suites Catedral is a modern apartment option in a newer building without any history. But the property makes up for it with its locations, sitting on two pedestrian plazas near the Valencia Cathedral, so your windows look out into the local culture—people strolling, shopping, grabbing tapas with friends, etc. And to add a little more authenticity to the mix, you'll find local art in the apartments. 

Location

Mon Suites Catedral is in Valencia's historic center, just a few steps from the iconic Valencia Cathedral. This puts you in the middle of the city's buzz and near numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. You'll also be within walking distance of all the major sites. The cathedral and Plaça de la Reina are just around the corner, and the Central Market and Lonja de la Seda are about five minutes on foot. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

You can choose from studios and one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments. All provide full kitchens with dishwashers and washing machines, plus seating areas, bathrooms, and balconies. Some of the larger options have additional perks, like seating on the balcony, a private terrace with an outdoor cooking area, and access to a rooftop terrace. Those with private terraces are two-story apartments. All are clean with no-frills, minimalist aesthetic, and modern amenities, like air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi.

Amenities

When it comes to amenities, Mon Suites Catedral is rather minimalist. You’ll find the basic necessities covered, but you won’t find a swimming pool, spa, or gym. You can even park in the hotel garage parking (which is also wheelchair accessible). 

Family-Friendliness

Children of all ages are welcome at Mon Suites Catedral, and larger families can book a four-room suite. You can request baby cots for a fee upon request. However, there are no amenities for families with children on offer.  

Other Highlights

Although there is no restaurant on the property, each room has a private kitchenette where you can prepare food.
