The Valentia Cabillers, Valencia
Chic, historic adults-only hotel with a rooftop pool and terrace bar, modern suites, and prime Old Town location
Overview
Kimkim's Take

- The Valentia Cabillers offer excellent value, combining traditional Spanish charm with modern luxury.
- The rooftop terrace is a major highlight, with incredible city views, an outdoor wading pool, sun loungers, and access to Sky Bar, serving cocktails and delish tapas.
- You'll be right off Plaça de la Reina and a stone's throw away from València Cathedral.
- Each suite is equipped with a kitchenette, providing the convenience of preparing your own meals.
- A la carte breakfast (not included in the room rate) is served daily via Sky Bar and features fresh market products.
- Besides the rooftop terrace, there's no shared area (like a lounge), and you won't find a spa or fitness center on the premises.
- The hotel only permits guests over 17 years old.
Authenticity
Valentia Cabillers embraces València's rich history and culture through its design, decor, and cuisine. The hotel is in a beautifully restored building that's kept some of its traditional architecture, like the wall-to-wall marble entrance, and infrastructure, like the courtyard. Guests can savor the flavors of València via the rooftop Sky Bar, serving an a la carte breakfast of fresh market products and light fare of tapas, snacks, and drinks the rest of the day and into the evening when the terrace is aglow with candles and string lights.Location
The hotel's location is ideal. It's on a charming cobblestone side street in València's Ciutat Vella (Old Town) leading to Plaça de la Reina and literal steps from the València Cathedral. You'll also be within walking distance of other city sites, like Mercat Central (Central Market) and the medieval Llotja de la Seda (Silk Market) only 5 minutes away, as well as a number of eateries and shops. If it's the beach you're after, you're only a 15-minute drive from the coast.Rooms & Bathrooms
The Valentia Cabillers offers spacious, bright rooms and suites, each featuring modern amenities and kitchenettes. For a standard hotel, the rooms are surprisingly refined, with neutral tones meeting dark, moody hues. The Valentia Cabillers offers bright and contemporary rooms and suites, each featuring wood flooring and a neutral color scheme with accents in black, white, and taupe found in furniture, patterned textiles, and artwork, some of which is on the uncommon side (note the encased doll figurines or tribal art). Each room includes self-catering kitchenettes, and some have French doors leading to a Juliet balcony with city views. The bathrooms are sleek, with large floor-to-ceiling tiles, rain showers, and vessel sink vanities. Grab a Premium Suite for more space and a semi-separate seating area.
Amenities
The hotel's main highlight is the chic rooftop terrace that offers views of the València Cathedral and the Micalet tower, which provides a fantastic setting for soaking up the Mediterranean sun with its (unheated) plunge pool and lounge area on one side. On the other is the Sky Bar, a full bar serving drinks, snacks, and traditional tapas in either indoor or outdoor seating areas. An a la carte breakfast is served on the rooftop daily while the space is lit up at night in soft lighting from candles and string lights as you sip a cocktail. The hotel is wheelchair-accessible and has a 24-hour front desk.Family-Friendliness
The hotel isn't family-friendly—only guests over 17 years old are permitted.Like what you see?
