Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa, Torres del Paine

Framed by Torres del Paine's granite mountains and Lake Sarmiento, the eco-friendly Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa is all about Patagonia's nature. The S-shaped building was inspired by wind and constructed with local lenga wood, which makes it almost blend into the landscape. The Torres del Paine massif is visible from all points of the hotel, and the entrance of the Torres del Paine National Park is just a 15-minute drive, where you'll find a number of hikes and sites like Lago Grey. The closest city of Puerto Natales is a little over an hour away, and Punta Arenas is a 4-hour drive. 

All 40 rooms combine a Scandinavian style with panoramic windows that face the lake and massif to create spaces that are cozy, clean, and comfortable. There are even windows in the bathrooms to ensure you never miss out on the view, which you can also enjoy from your in-room bathtub next to the large picture window. Suites are split-level and the largest option, with a bedroom downstairs and a living room upstairs. Interconnecting family rooms are available for larger parties, and while rooms don't include WiFi, the view alone may make you forget about getting online.

The hotel's facilities maintain a focus on the landscape and culture. Enjoy a locally sourced meal at the tasty restaurant, or head to the spa, where you can take in the view from the indoor heated pool surrounded by windows. The outdoor hot tub offers an equally memorable place to relax. In keeping with its organic approach, Tierra Patagonia is sustainable and eco-friendly, working with local producers, employing energy-efficient technology, and developing a kitchen garden to create a farm-to-table experience.
