Miski Travels started off as a passion project that quickly evolved into a new way of experiencing South America. We want everyone we meet to experience the countries we fell in love with- the culture, the people, and the destinations.

We don't want you to just visit, we want you to experience it. We've traveled throughout each destination to make sure we only recommend the best. Apart from only wanting to recommend the best, we also strive on being a responsible travel company. Working with the locals, giving back as much as we can, and adding our little grain of salt in helping these beautiful countries evolve and maintain their charm.

The trip was AMAZING! Kristy did such a great job organizing absolutely EVERYTHING! Loved having the private drivers always on time, checking us into our flights, and boarding passes sent directly to the phone made ease of travel with carry-on only a breeze. It wasn't overly clear where the "Adults" pool was located but heard it was worth it! Unfortunately, we missed out. I would take an extra day or two here to just chill instead of spending the extra days we did in Buenos Aires. This tranquil. luxury property located in the heart of the rainforest is a must-see and spend the extra time just taking it all in.

Beautiful property but located a fair distance from town if walking and super expensive and we had to check our bill repeatedly as we were charged for a bottle of wine as opposed to a glass and the orders were messed up all the time on bills! The property itself is stunning. Would most likely stay in town at another property if I were to return.

Our trip was so great. Was my first time using Kim Kim and it was seamless. We had daily contact and issues resolved quickly when they did come up. Kristy was great and easy to work with as we altered things on the trip.

Overall our group of six enjoyed the trip and KimKim made it a lot easier to get around by providing transfers for us. Unfortunately, we hit several snags that took away from the enjoyment of the trip. Twice the transfer did not show up or didn't indicate they were there for our party. Kimkim got it straightened out but that was a rough start at the airport. Several times we didn't get the room we thought we were getting (twins instead of kings, etc.) and at one time in Cusco we were dropped... Read more

Several times we didn't get the room we thought we were getting (twins instead of kings, etc.) and at one time in Cusco we were dropped off at the bottom of a set of stairs (with all our luggage) to get to our hotel because the driver said he couldn't go down our street. At the end of the trip we were asked to pay for our rooms because there was confusion about payment from KimKim.

I would like to say that Kimkim was very helpful in connecting us with a pharmacy when my husband forgot his insulin in the Amazon.

Regarding your arrival in Aguas Calientes by train, the hotel staff is generally present at the station to assist guests with walking to the hotel after the train arrives. Unfortunately, there are no car transfers available in this rural area. I apologize if this wasn’t clear, and we will provide better instructions on how to locate the hotel staff at the station, so they can assist in guiding our future guests to the hotel.

We’ve processed the refund for the hotel payment you had to pay, and we do apologize for any confusion this caused toward the end of your trip as it was not our intention. If you could let us know which hotel rooms did not meet your expectations, I would be happy to follow up with our team to understand what happened. Some of the hotel locations are in areas where larger vehicles have difficulty accessing, so our team did their best to get you as close as possible to the entrance. We’ve made a note to be more mindful when booking travelers in the San Blas area to ensure smoother access.

The trip was truly incredible and beyond our expectations, to be honest. We spent roughly 13 days traveling between Lima, the Amazon, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco. Kristy from Kim Kim was a fantastic help throughout the booking and trip process; her knowledge was key to ensuring the trip exactly met our expectations, and it didn't disappoint. She was even available throughout the trip for any issues or questions we had and provided some brilliant insider knowledge on food, trips, and recommendations she knew we would like!

All the elements worked seamlessly from travel to flights and hotels, so we didn’t have to worry or think about anything, to be honest—it was very slick. Finally, a special thank you to our guides, with whom we spent some unforgettable times: Henry in the Amazon, Frank in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, Feddy at Iguazu Falls, and Rosa in Buenos Aires. All of you really made the trip special and one we will never forget!

What a 3 days in the Amazon! Just incredible. Our guide Henry was a fountain of knowledge throughout. What a location, too! The food was great, and the stunning main house where you eat is beautiful. The only thing needed was some pillows for the chairs at the tables; it would make dining much more comfortable. ;)

Stunning hotel in the center of Cusco just beautiful! Make sure you look out for the baby alpaca in the courtyard; he loves carrots! :) We loved the spa and water therapy as well; it’s a must after a long day or if you need some R&R.

Jungle hotel where you are right in it, with bouncing bridges that connect the buildings (fun)! There’s a great adults' pool overlooking the river (perfect for a few sundowners). We found it to be the perfect laid-back hotel for exploring Iguazu.

Right in the center of town, great location, and just 1 minute from the train station. It’s okay for a night with a view if you’re there to see Machu Picchu, but the rooms could use some better ventilation plus quite noisy. The staff were helpful, and oxygen is available quickly if the altitude gets to you.

This hotel was a delight! The setting is beautiful among native trees and plants - the hotel staff were knowledgeable and very helpful and welcoming - the restaurant provided delicious food and great service and the location is so convenient if you plan on riding the train to Macho Piccho or anywhere else!

Our guide, Edwin Cusi Huaman, was superb! One of our best ever. Kristy's response when she heard I was sick was *far*beyond expectations. For learning purposes: 1) when our flight to Cusco was rebooked, we initially weren't told. We rebooked ourselves, then cancelled. And then we weren't told we were now on an earlier flight. The hotel selections, drivers, and Edwin were all excellent. And the staff at the Antigua Casona San Blas was really, really responsive and helpful. Lima food tour was also fun.

Very comfortable hotel conveniently close to the endless bus lines to Machu Pichu and the train station. They delivered our bags to the train station directly after our excursion to Machu Pichu. We had the meal plan, and dinner was decent. Breakfast is just okay. But we'd happily stay there again.
