Poon Hill is among Nepal's most popular view points. Most trekkers hike to Poon Hill from the village of Ghorepani in the early morning to see sunrise. The views on Annapurna and Dhaulagiri are spectacular and well worth the hour-long early morning climb along stone stairs through rhododendron forest.

At the end of the Annapurna Circuit Trek

While many Annapurna Circuit trekkers bus our jeep back to Pokhara after they reach Jomsom, some trekkers choose to extend their Annapurna Trek by making a left turn at Tatopani following the Ghar Khola towards Ghorpani to admore Annpurna and Dhaulagiri one last time from Poon Hill.

Via the community trail of Poon Danda

If you want to avoid most of the crowds you can opt for a much more quite trekking route on the backside of Poon Hill via Poon Danda (Poon Ridge).
