We had an amazing trip to Croatia! Nikola had everything so well organized and planned! From our first arrival at the airport with our driver to our last airport delivery it was smooth sailing! We were met in Split by Mario who carried both our bags and led us to our hotel and helped orient us to our room and the area. The next morning Mario showed up extra early to escort us to our ferry to Hvar. We were met there by our biking guide, JJ, who was so patient and knowledgeable about the area. Such a fun day! The following day was a highlight with an oyster and wine tasting. On the way home I accidentally left my bag in the van and our driver very kindly drove it back to the hotel the following day. The hotel in Dubrovnik was gorgeous and spacious. The next day we went on a private boat cruise which was amazing and again with a knowledgeable skipper. Our last day was once again amazing where we were picked up by Katarina and driven to her home for a culinary experience and delicious lunch. We were so impressed with our local guides and all the special care we were given from everyone associated with Nikola and KimKim travel.

The service we received here was five stars. From the moment of our arrival until checkout we were treated like royalty! The room itself was very small and there was no space to open up our suitcases. There was also a lot of noise upstairs, however, by the time we were ready for bed it quieted down. The location was excellent and right near the palace. The breakfast was made early for our convenience and delicious.

this was an enjoyable day on the sea. Our skipper was knowledgeable about the area and took us where we expressed an interest. We stopped at an island and walked around, enjoying some of the local sites. We also took a couple dips in the ocean which was so lovely!

I haven't used a travel service before this trip-- and I couldn't be happier with the result. It was a super easy and user-friendly platform and way of communicating with Anna-Maria. She made traveling with three generations smooth and met the needs of everyone with a variety of activities. We loved the private drivers and tour guides as they were flexible to our interests and needs (stretching our legs, lots of gelato stops). The local providers Anna-Maria found were on time, kind, and local experts. From Pero's extensive knowledge of the history of Dubrovnik (including Game of Thrones) to Antonio's expertise in the waters surrounding Korcula to Christina's relationships with local and family restaurants on our food tour of Split--- all were wonderful core memories and experiences for us. Anna-Maria's communication throughout the trip, just checking in on us and providing any details was appreciated and top-notch. 1000% would recommend Anna-Maria, KimKim, and Croatia!!

This is my dream hotel. I loved the design-- modern, but comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The restaurant (dinner and lunch) was fantastic under mature trees and umbrellas with an attentive staff. The views and service from the lounge patio were also wonderful! We were in the Villa building with a large, comfortable and modern room. Sadly, we didn't have a view or a balcony as we were on the first floor (back of a building). But it did make coming and going through our day very easy. The location is fabulous and a stone's throw from the Old City and bus stops. The service is top-notch.

The location and staff were perfect and lovely. The main challenge with this hotel is accessibility. There are a LOT of stairs; 3 sets to get to your room with no elevators. The staff kindly takes up your bags, but traveling with older people it wasn't as easy as we would have liked given the amount of walking/strolling you do in a day. The breakfast spread was nice but our least favorite on the trip. The staff was really nice and kind-- and made up for the other elements. Definitely ask for a sea view room! Watching the boats come in and out of the marina was one of our favorite things. The patio views were really calming and lovely.

This was a wonderfully modern and comfortable hotel. We loved the patio dining (delicious and overlooking the yachts) and the vast breakfast spread. This was the most comfortable bed that opened out to a large balcony. The shower was roomy and it had a separate bathtub! The roof deck pool was also wonderful to cool down in. The only reason this hotel didn't get 5-stars is because we faced the street and both rooms you could hear the very loud street and the restaurant/club music was SO loud at night. Definitely get waterview rooms for some peace and quiet.

Montenegro Day trip from Dubrovnik

We loved this day trip. Totally a wonderful day trip. We loved going to Persalt and the little boat trip to the monastery. Kotor and a beautiful lunch (on our own) was a lovely treat which was recommended by our driver. Gabriel was a wonderful driver, we just wish we had a guide to give us a bit more history of the area. But he made great stops along the way and gave us his personal history which was nice! I would have liked to have spent more time in Kotor!

Snorkelling on Korčula Island

Antonio and Patricia were fantastic. This was our favorite activity. Antonio made it super fun for the kids by feeding the deer, finding a baby octopus and a sea star, and letting us try sea urchin! He was very knowledgable and knew the waters well having grown up in Korcula.

Love taking the horses through fields and into the water. We didn't realize we could have taken the reins, but they walked us instead. So that made it less fun. It was still beautiful, but the kids would have liked it better had they had the reins.

Grgo picked us up in the afternoon, showed us some of the island that we otherwise would've never seen, and showed us some Hvar history. We tasted a number of wines at Duboković that were all superb, and ended up buying a bottle to take home with us. We then visited Grgo's family home and tasted some of their own wines alongside a light snack, all of which was extremely good.

After a short drive from Dubrovnik, we had a lovely walking tour of Cavtat. We learned about the city's history, its relationship with Dubrovnik, and took in some gorgeous sights. We then took another short drive to a family farm near Čilipi, and had an experience that I don't think I'll ever forget. Our host shared area history, family stories, and treated us to a delicious meal. The view was divine.

We had a fantastic 9 day trip to Croatia. Bruno was extremely helpful with all aspects of planning and putting together the itinerary that fit our needs. The hotels, travel reservations etc were all seamless. Bruno also met with us when we landed in Zagreb and personally guided our group of 12 ( along with another associate, Mario) for the first 3 days of our tour. Leaving Zagreb and exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park

Bruno and Mario were great guides and drivers. We stopped at Rastoke village and then went to plitvice lakes park, which was breathtakingly beautiful. They guided us through the park and also explained all the natural phenomena leading to the waterfalls and told us about the history of the place as well. A day well spent.

Sarah was really wonderful in her choices of both our activities and hotels. She planned everything—from drivers to schedules. We particularly enjoyed Hotel Cornaro in Split. And our skipper Marko who took us between Split and Hvar was fabulous: he took us to his favorite spots to visit, eat (under a canopy of olive trees), and swim. Then Grgo who took us on a winery tour in Hvar—including his own family’s winery—was a gracious host. We were able to visit several places and get insiders’ views from our drivers and hosts. We learned so much about the history of Croatia and what it’s like to be a Croatian today. I recommend using KimKim and Sarah and Ivan 100%!

Although a little dated, you can’t beat the incredible pool with the view of the Adriatic. The staff is very helpful, considering how many people stay there. The breakfast is amazing with so many choices. The only negative we experienced was in our bathroom where the sink and faucet were badly designed, and you couldn’t rinse your hands without splashing pools of water everywhere, and the bathtub/shower was poorly draining. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the view and the food and service.

This is a very new hotel and lovely inside. Our room was spacious and super well designed. It is conveniently located near a bus stop so we could easily get to the old town and anything we wanted to do. There are markets nearby too. And the food—including the breakfast—is really good. Both a fascinating and exciting journey through four Balkan nations, Serbia, Bosnia-Hercegovina , Croatia and Montenegro. After months of planning and adjustments with my excellent local specialist, Anna-Maria, the trip very much lived up to what I hoped for, getting to see most of the places I had planned to see and activities I had been interested to do including the hiking in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Learned a lot of history of the region from the guides, including Marko in Belgrade and Suzi in Sarajevo. In a region divided by recent conflict, what was so good about the guides was the different perspectives of the recent history. The highlight being a guided tour of the Siege of Sarajevo by Adnan Hasanbegovic, a veteran of the siege who showed me the tunnel of hope dug under the airport. Having been involved in the conflict as a both a civilian and a soldier, his account was so vivid, including the struggles he and many other experienced. From a conflict out of which so much hatred arose for the different nationalities involved, what was so impressive about Adnan's tour was how he had sympathy for those who he fought against, including the Serbs, as to how they were drawn into the conflict and for what they also suffered. Something which he said he found helpful in his work post-conflict focusing on reconciliation, during which me met many others who had survived conflicts.

Sarajevo itself was probably the highlight of my trip, being so full of diversity in terms of architecture and food, bringing together the best of its legacy being at the crossroads of the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. I especially enjoyed the Turkish areas and most of all, the Bosnian Coffee. The hikes in Bosnia-Hercegovina were amazing. I had previously done the Seven Lakes trek through Slovenia with KimKim, which was a fantastic experience. but in Bosnia-Hercegovina though, there was a feeling that the nature was so much more untouched. This was especially evident on the Lukomir trek, visiting Bosnia's last traditional nomadic village where life has changed little in five hundred years.

Some much more natural beauty and historical sites were found in between Belgrade and Sarajevo and in between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik, including Tara National Park (the Lungs of Serbia), the Ottoman bridge in Mostar, the stunning Kravice Waterfalls and the two highlights the Dervish House at Blagaj and a ride on the Sargan Eight Railway. So much fantastic variety with great insight provided by guides Stefan and Abdul.

And the excitement didn't end there, the ride on the replica 16th century galleon Karaka was great fun, seeing the beauty of the Eliphate islands before a trip to Kotor in Montenegro the next day. The crew on Karaka were so fun while Montenegro guide Dejan was so knowledgeable, giving lots of great tips for photographers. All people involved in making this trip were so helpful, from specialist Anna-Maria who did a fantastic job finding great accommodation in all three cities I stayed in (especially the apartment in Dubrovnik's Old Town) , Marko in Belgrade, Stefan between Belgrade and Sarajevo, Verda on the Lukmir trek, Suzi and Adnan in Sarajevo, Abdul between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik, the Karaka crew and Dejan in Montenegro. All were so friendly and so hospitable. Natural feature that best reflected this though, was visiting the heart-shaped lake at Sutjeska National Park on the border of Bosnia and Montenegro, led by guide Jasmin. It truly opened my heart to the region and its people, as well as what they have largely come through following a difficult recent history.

We had an amazing trip in Croatia thanks to the careful planning and excellent communication from Robi. He took the time to customize our itinerary based on our wishes and made suggestions based on his experience. Each night during our trip, Robi would check in with us (we were driving ourselves) to see how the day went and also provide tips and Google pins for our activities the following day. We had an amazing time in Croatia and Sarah was super responsive and helpful before and during our stay. She and her husband Ivan assisted with dinner recommendations and reservations and tweaked our itinerary when needed. The drivers and skippers were top-notch, friendly, and reliable. We enjoyed all of the excursions but both boat outings, kayaking and biking tours were favorites. The skippers we had, Marco and Ivo, were so friendly and accommodating. We are very satisfied with our KimKim experience and will never forget this once-in-a-lifetime trip with our family.

Give people more chances to go into churches, etc rather than just give the history of them outside. Provide more choices of food that are served. Much of it was wasted if people didn't care for it.

We didn't have transport to this excursion - we took an Uber which was fine but it was an added expense.

There are not enough complimentary words to adequately describe how fabulous our guide Robert Pinčević (Robi) was. From helping us to plan our custom, 4-woman multisport trip, to showing us the most beautiful and amazing places, to going far above and beyond in taking care of us, Robi is the kind of guide one dreams of. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Croatian: history, wine making, olive growing, etc. Plus he's a rafting guide, a sailor, a musician and probably a few more things we never got around to talking about. In short, you cannot go wrong in engaging his services - he's a remarkable human being.

Bruno was absolutely fantastic from the initial planning stages giving us good info and itineraries to look over and then on the trip providing us best parking locations and spots to visit for the following day. It was great not having to think about any of that and just concentrate on getting to the locations Bruno gave us. Along with this to have daily restaurant recommendations was also really good 😊

Robi did a fantastic job arranging our transportation and tours in Croatia. The communication throughout the process was impeccable, even when our flight was delayed.

Antonia, my specialist, worked with me for several months and organized a complex trip for our group of four. The whole journey felt like a total concierge trip, with four and five-star hotels, excellent service, and Antonia being available to us 24-7.

Some of the highlights of our trip included a truffle tour, Skokin caves in Slovenia, Plitvice National Park, and exploring Hvar with a local guide. We were treated like royalty throughout our trip, and Antonia made sure everything was taken care of, from our transportation to our accommodations.

There were a few hiccups with a couple of hotels, but overall, everything was perfect. The best part was having someone in the same time zone as us, making communication and problem-solving much easier.

I would highly recommend Kimkim to others looking for a seamless and luxurious travel experience, and I can't wait to book another trip with them in the future.

We planned a trip to Prague and Croatia. We used KimKim to alleviate and the time and stress in planning all the details. Moreover, we were bringing our kids (11 and 13) to Europe for the first time and wanted to do activities that they would enjoy (ie not walking through museums and churches the entire time). After our trip started, he's working behind the scene to make sure everything went well to our expectation! Our cycling trip through the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia was incredible, thanks to Robi. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and well-planned it was. From the very start of planning, and up until we said goodbye to Croatia, Robi was friendly, professional, responsive, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and all our questions answered. He made the planning process easy and painless, making sure our group was comfortable with all his suggestions and recommendations before anything was set or booked.

While in Croatia, he was always a step ahead to make sure all the details, logistics and coordination were taken care of so that we didn't have to worry about a thing on our trip. He helped us design a very customized self-guided cycling tour according to our ability level, and was patient and accommodating as we made changes and modified to our plans. He was super knowledgable about the region and gave us great tips to make our experience there even more special.
We loved all of the accommodations he booked for us (he helped customize according to our budget), and every logistical detail was smooth without any hiccups or surprises. He checked on us throughout our trip and was available the entire time to answer any questions we had.

I also want to give a huge shout out to his colleague, Goran, who was our amazing driver and support crew along the routes. He was super fun and so accommodating, and we just had a blast with him. He took care to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and felt comfortable with our bikes and routes each day.
