Delicious breakfasts. Staff friendly and professional. Amazing view from our room. They were very welcoming and able to help us with our needs.

Friendly staff. Room with a view was nice, however our children’s room did not have a view which made it less special, but still comfortable.

This was the smallest room of our trip, but super well located, right in the old town. Marin and is twin brother were very kind hotel staff. Breakfasts were yummy.

We had the apparement with two bedrooms and laundry facility, which was timely during our travel. The apartment is gorgeous right in the palace, with view of the cathedral. Magnificent.

Ivana was great. She was engaged and our personalities totally fit with the four of us (history and culture interested crowd). She gave us extra time.

This was one of my favorite. Loved the experience of being out of the city, meeting this wonderful family business. The scenery was beautiful (garden, house) and the food we made a fun family activity as well as delicious.

Great experience. Our guide Jelena was fantastic. She knew a lot and was super friendly. She was a great match with our family, super relax and knowledgeable. We saw and did quite a bit in this experience (unesco site, wine tasting, visited two towns and had a Peka dinner experience.

Thé lumbarda region is beautiful. Our guide Paco drove us to different wineries where we learn about the region’s grapes. The first winery was more interesting to us than the second. We had a typical konoba dinner with tons of fish in a family run place. Paco offered great information and “joie de vivre” vibes.

Interesting tour of the basement of the Diocletian palace.

Toma our boat driver was great. A bit shy at first but he warmed up throughout the day. The water was a bit agitated and he made me feel safe. The blue lagoon was spectacular and we had a great swim there. Magical water. We stopped on a small island for a drink and a lunch on the other side of the island. Fun feeling to board right at the restaurant. Great fish meal to enjoy sitting right on the water side. Finished the day with one other swim in a small bay where we could enjoyed a Mojito made right there by a guy on a small boat going from boat to boat offering his drinks. Fun experience all along.

More of a villa than hotel. No public spaces. Located in the palace, it was a fantastic location. Our suite was large and comfortable and well appointed with a kitchen, living room, large bedrooms and separate bathrooms. Staff were excellent. Met us at ferry and walked us at checkout to meet our driver. Breakfast was in a separate restaurant 2 min walk away. Great stay!

Ivana was professional, well informed and friendly. We didn’t know what to expect inside the palace and were happy with her tour.

Fantastic. Toma was an expert skipper and created a memorable day that included swimming in Blue Lagoon, a stop for coffee in a beautiful village, a dockside lunch with fresh fish, another swim in a small bay where “mojito man” served up a cocktail and dolphin sightings. Fantastic family day.

Our guide Ivana was exceptional! This was our first organized experience and she didn’t disappoint. We were interested I history and as a historian she was excited to geek out and answer our questions. We felt that we received a true sense of Dubrovnik.

Jelena and Goran delivered an exceptional experience. We got a sense of the island, toured some towns, had an amazing wine tasting experience and an incredible traditional meal. Fun, interesting, memorable!

The most important stop on our tour was Korcula as my family came from here. Our guide Paco delivered! He was funny and engaging and interested. He even tried to call people to find out about my family connections. We had a great drive. 2 wine tastings and an amazing g meal. So much food!!

We did t know what to expect from culinary experience and were so happy and grateful for experience. Family was welcoming. Experienced a sense of place and history.

Pretty boutique hotel. Rooms were very clean - we had a 2 bedroom unit. Staff were nice. Only issue we had was the technology for working the a/c and lights was hard to figure out.

It was in the center of town near the palace. Rooms were clean but a little small.

Staff were very accommodating. When we got to our room we had an issue and the staff changed us to a suite since it was the only room available. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms and the view were beautiful. Excellent breakfast and welcome drinks!

The staff were so accommodating ,helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a great front outdoor area with couches and was a great place to relax and watch the boats and the view of all the people walking by.

The staff were very helpful and gave us so much useful information about Ljubljana suggesting and walking us to a restaurant for authentic Slovenian cuisine! Hotel offered a welcome snack and drink and the rooms were each uniquely decorated.

Hotel was very basic but was clean and offered a a beautiful view of the mountains!

Miriana and Miro were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed watching and learning about the truffles and how they’re harvested and grown. Miriana is a wonderful cook and we enjoyed our delicious truffle goodies along with the truffle oils. We enjoyed this visit. It was a very tasty and unique experience and highly recommend a visit here!

This was such an interesting tour. Our guide was excellent and we learned so much about the city of Pula enjoying the ancient amphitheater learning about theso much interesting history!

Nice staff. Arrived early jut they let you use facilities and guard luggage until room is ready. Wonderful views and perfect location. Friendly staff.

Splendida Palace has the nicest staff I have ever met. They even give you a cellphone i case you need any advice or help while touring the city. Breakfast is delicious, the rooms are huge and comfy bed. And the welcoming Rakija was the best I had.

Good hotel, but not a great one. Has wonderful amenities, the cave bar is awesome and the restaurants as well, delicious food. Rooms are small and bed not so comfortable for a 5 star hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, everyone in Croatia was 😅

Nice tour. It seemed quite fast paced, but the tour guide made sure I got some nice info and pics. Lasted less than 2 hours probably because it was only me, and I had no questions. Very interesting stories and tips.

Delicious food, small geoup made it way better. Everything was very organized and it helped save time. They made adjustments in case there were food intolerances or allergies.

Photos do not do this place justice. Our guide was very nice, explained evrything and made sure we got the pest pictures and spots. Going with a larger group sometimes ir hard, but our guide managed to respect everyones’ wishes while still being on time. Would definitely recommend.

The Hotel Degenija in Plitvice Lakes was nice and what was expected for the area. The overall experience was enjoyable.

Authentically cooked traditional Croatian meal in a wonderful farmhouse setting. Divo Vukorep was the perfect chef and host.

The walking city tour in Dubrovnik was great. The guide was knowledgeable, on time, and well chosen. Everything went smoothly.

The wine tasting excursion was okay, but not as impressive as expected. The wines tasted were not the best, but the overall experience was still enjoyable.

The walking food tour in Zagreb was very nice and enjoyable. It was a great way to get acquainted with the city and its culinary offerings.

The walking tour in Split was well chosen, knowledgeable, and on time. The guides were great and the experience was enjoyable.

The day trip to Sibenik was great, with the lunch in the countryside being an excellent experience. The food and atmosphere were beautiful.

The views from the hotel were breathtaking.

This park was beautiful even though it was raining the whole time we were there.

The hike along the cliff overlooking the sea was spectacular. The feast at the family farm was outstanding. It was wonderful meeting the hosts - honest, genuine, hard working people. Enjoyed the company of another couple who joined us on the trip.

Driver was on time & very helpful with our luggage. Trip to airport went smoothly.

Spacious apartment with well appointed kitchenette and a washing machine, which we put to good use. Location just outside city wall so convenient to old city. The terrace and garden was a nice place to rest and relax. We were thankful we could store our bags there for several hours until we departed the city.

Nice room, outstanding breakfast, and courteous staff. Had to park a short distance away but hotel provided shuttle service. (This hotel had the nicest breakfast and a beautiful view of the harbor).

Room was a little small but comfortable. Breakfast was limited but the hotel had few guests at the time, so this was understandable. Breakfast attendant made us the best coffee in Croatia! (And she was very nice). Desk receptionist could have been more pleasant when we arrived. In all the places we visited and saw, she was the exception to great hospitality.

Matej, our driver, was waiting for us at Zagreb airport. Great conversation with him as we drove into the city. Check-in was breeze.

Exploring the old city towns was interesting. Cobble stones and hills were a challenge though. Had one of our best meals in Motovun.

Interesting city with old churches and nice restaurants. By the harbor the Sea Organ and Sun Salutation Light Show (at sunset) were fascinating.

Short ferry ride back to the mainland and beautiful vistas on way to Ston.

Ston is charming town with extensive walls and salt pans. Also some great wineries which we visited one, Midirazza, for wine tasting.

Old City Dubrovnik is a fascinating place with its buildings, restaurants, and wall. Excellent city tour to explain some of the city history. City wall walk was interesting but fairly difficult to walk in places (steps) and overpriced at 35 Euros. Speaking of steps - about 120 to get from old city to apartment. Wear comfortable shoes!

Pick up and delivery to airport was great.

Two of our favorite places, especially Rovinj with its charm and restaurants by the harbor. The Roman coliseum in Pula was amazing in its almost original 2000 year old state. We really enjoyed the olive oil museum and the olive oil tasting.

We really enjoyed Zagreb with its buildings and history. Bruno, our guide, was excellent! Learned so much about the city, culture, history, and food! We also talked about schools, education, economy, etc. Bruno recommended an excellent restaurant, LeStruk; we enjoyed it a lot!

Great day trip visiting two castles and birth place of Marshall Tito. Bruno went with us this day and gave us a lot of insight about Marshall Tito. He also took us to an excellent country restaurant where we had a huge lunch. The beans in this meal were superb! We really appreciated the time Bruno took with us.

Lots of history in Split. Great city tour. Nice restaurants. We really enjoyed Split as the sun was setting; the crowds were less.

Day trip to Mostar. We enjoyed the old part of town and its renowned bridge but could have done without the large tourist crowds. Did have a nice lunch overlooking the bridge. We also enjoyed talking to the lady at the bookstore that Robi recommended. She gave us a concise, but excellent history of the events leading to the war and her experiences in the war. She humanized and brought the scenes we witnessed on television to life.

Not a lot to explore in Hvar city but enjoyed a drink by the harbor and one of the best meals of the trip. We also visited the fortress on the hill for a great view of the town. There wasn't a lot to do, but that was due to the time of the year and weather being cool/overcast. Swimming was not feasible.

Nice boat ride to visit the beautiful falls at the park. Also drove to upstream portion of river to see other falls (not quite as nice). The signage at the park was limited and at one point, we did a lot of extra walking, and ended up at the cafe instead of water falls. The maps handed out by the park were pretty substandard (in detail for walking trails).

Convenient, modern, and well-maintained with many amenities not found in the older historical hotels (gym, transfer room with shower, full restaurant and bar). My favorite of the hotels we stayed in while in Croatia and a great place to stay in Zagreb!

The hotel was generally fine, but our room was not what I expected. One king bed was provided for my traveling buddy and me (we are not married), and the room was a bit small with a very small bathroom. The shower was so small that the temperature would scald or freeze me if I accidentally bumped into the faucet. It felt more like camping than staying in a hotel.

Convenient hotel located in the heart of Zadar. Lots of character, with professional staff and a good restaurant on site. The room was lovely, and the bathroom was surprisingly large compared to some of the hotels we had stayed in. This was a charming place to spend the night in Zadar, and I would stay again if given the opportunity.

Amazing historical hotel in the Diocletian palace. The bathroom was a little bit small, and the shower was a bit difficult to manage. However, the on-site restaurant and location made up for these slight inconveniences. The hotel had a lot of character to make for an enjoyable stay.

I loved staying in Hvar and this hotel added to the experience. The town was so lovely and warm, and this felt like being in a hidden Mediterranean villa with its location and open windows both in the room and the open courtyard of the hotel restaurant. The shower and toilet configuration were a bit awkward and the room got very wet from not having a shower door, but this was remedied with several towels. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff, while fairly incognito, were professional.

The location was terrific, but the hotel had a few quirks. The building was reasonably modern but did feel a bit dated. The shower was terrible, however--the shower door on the tub leaked like crazy, so the bathroom floor got wet during and after a shower, requiring several towels to mop up the mess. The hotel bar, pool, and restaurant were all nice amenities!

The tour started with a glitch--we couldn't find our guide and were sent to the wrong location--but she stuck around for us and gave us a fantastic tour of the city. I learned so much and really enjoyed the insider's view of Zagreb. The tour was just the right length--we got to see the sights, and some hidden history and had time for a few recommendations for dinner--and then we were able to go on our way for the evening with plenty of time to spare. This tour guide was amazing--truly a global citizen and knowledgeable about Croatia and the world at large!

I was a little hesitant at first about the kayaking adventure (it wasn't clear what the skill level would be, and it seemed like we would go into a waterfall right away), but our guide Tony was so helpful and patient. He is knowledgeable about the area and truly loves his job. He was a top-notch outdoorsman. We had three other people on the kayaking trip with us which was a fun way to meet some other people and experience the beautiful Mreznica Canyon with other travelers.

Seeing the farmers market and meeting the vendors was a real treat. I wouldn't have had the courage to go up and talk to vendors, but we got to learn about food production and what makes Croatia unique from an agricultural and culinary perspective. Our guide was warm and fun, and she took us through the Diocletian palace with some great stories of the history and culture. The food was also amazing--I enjoyed our lunch very much and feel like I got a good sample of Croatian dishes on this tour.

Our driver, the tour operator, and the cycling guide were all world-class! This was a highlight of the trip for me. I loved seeing the other side of Hvar Island, and especially loved being out on a bike, able to move faster than walking but not being in a car. I never felt unsafe on the roads, and I appreciated the new bike and helmet. I am an avid cyclist at home so this was not a terribly challenging ride, but we did see a lot of the island, experienced some of the small villages, and got so much perspective on things from our cycling guide. I have forgotten her name, but I do want to send along my thanks for being so hospitable and open. She was amazing!

This was probably the best tour I have ever been on. Our guide (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) made it the best day. It was like walking with a friend as he took us around Dubrovnik, sharing stories, history, and, most importantly, his honest perspective and opinion. I appreciated how he could speak his mind but handled topics sensitively and appropriately (specifically, when speaking about the internal war in the 1990s). Dubrovnik might be my favorite place in Croatia because of its beauty and history. Learning about it added richness and depth to the trip, and I 100% attribute this to the guide. He was a 10/10!

I had a great time during the Dubrovnik Kayaking Adventure. The weather was good, and the water was refreshing, even though it was a bit early in the season. I got some awesome pictures, and the experience was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this activity.

The all-day boat tour to the Elaphiti Islands was exceptional. Our boat captain, a Croatian Navy Seal, was an excellent guide. The owner of the company personally came to our hotel and picked us up for the tour. Overall, it was a fantastic and personalized experience that I would love to do again.

This was one of the most special excursions of the trip. We rode on brand new e-bikes with fantastic local guides. At the end of the tour, we went back to the owner's tasting room for a wonderful wine and cheese tasting. It was an amazing, personalized experience that I would highly recommend to others.

The Pakleni Islands Kayak Tour was a great experience. The owner of the kayaking company personally greeted us after the tour, and we were their first customers of the season. The tour was enjoyable, and the scenery was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this activity.

The Biking Tour of Split & Marjan Hill was fantastic. We had private guides who spent hours with us, showing us the beautiful sights of Split. There was a small mix-up with the meeting location, but it was quickly resolved, and we had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our day trip to Ljubljana was a memorable experience. We had a small group bike tour with a great guide, and we covered a lot of ground that we wouldn't have been able to on foot. The weather was colder than expected, but we still enjoyed exploring the picturesque European town. I would definitely recommend this day trip and biking tour.

This hotel has a great location right next to the palace and in the middle of everything. The location is great but what puts this place over the top is the kindness and attention to deal that Marco and Luka put into everything. From food recommendations to places to visit around town, they were happy to share suggestions with us and they were all great. The room overlooked the courtyard restaurant below where our 3 course breakfast was served.

Great location and room. Natalija and her sister were great hosts and breakfast was wonderful as well. I would recommend Villa Nora to all my friends and family.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of old town and an easy walk to everything. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast served in the room was great! Clean and well maintained.

Lovely hotel right on the water. Easy walk to everything in Korcula. The only draw back was lack of elevators. Great breakfast and lovely seating on the patio looking out at the water for great sunset views
