Sarah did an amazing job planning our 2 week trip in Croatia. We customized a KimKim itinerary and it was perfect for us. We visited Zagreb, Rovinj, Plitvicka National Park, Split, Havar and Dubrovnik with a stop in Pula to see the amphitheater. Highlights were: 2 wine tastings in Plesivica at small family owned wineries, truffle hunting (with dogs) at the Karlić family complex with great food afterwards, a walking tour of Ravinj with Dina, the Pula tour with Mariam, a food tour in Split with Kristina, Hvar island tour with Grgo (he and his family were terrific), a private boat tour around the islands between Spilt and Hvar, a walking tour in Dubrovnik, a little stop in Cavtat with Dora (she was very fun) then a private peka ("under the bell") lunch in the countryside. We had very nice drivers all throughout who picked us up on time and it was great to hear their stories of growing up and living in Croatia (thanks, Damir). Sarah and Ivan were available continually on WhatsApp and were quick to answer questions.
We ate well, saw so much of the country, met great people, and were impressed with everyone's pride in their country. I'd highly recommend using Sarah for your trip to Croatia, and anywhere else she plans!

We went to the Jagunič and Braye wineries. They were different and wonderful. Both were family owned and we were hosted by the owners. At Jagunič we had a fabulous charcuterie board and at Braye we had another charcuterie board (oh my), duck confit with pasta, and a cherry dessert to die for. So good. The wine pours were generous.

Patrick was our truffle hunter and he did a great job explaining the process, how the dogs are raised, the family story, all of it. Ivana (second generation owner) cooked for us. She was quite entertaining and the food was great.

Private Motor Boat Excursion to Brač & the Pakleni Islands (end in Hvar)

We had a lovely day on the boat. We met our skipper Nikola at the port, and traveled to the Pakleni Islands and Hvar. We brought cheese, bread and wine as weren't expecting to stop for lunch. That was great, but didn't leave much to do. The water was too cool for swimming, so we dropped anchor in a cute little port (with lots of sailboats) and had lunch on the boat. We ended early.

Grgo picked us up and took us all around the island. We went to his home for wine tasting and a charcuterie board. We met his family, which made us feel like old friends. We visited Jelsa, a little port town, then to an amazing outdoor restaurant called Dionis in the UNESCO farm fields and had a great dinner, meeting the owners. The food was wood oven prepared. Last we drove back to Hvar.

Djana took us around the Old Town for 2 hours. She knew the city well and had grown up there too. She helped us plan for the evening and the next day when we had some free time.

Dora drove us and she was fun to spend 4 hours with. Another local, she knew the area well. Cavtat was very cute, and we grabbed a coffee by the port. The Croatian meal was delicious, fresh and filling. The host didn't speak English very well, but Dora did. We got a tour of the kitchen and farmhouse which was nice.

All the guides in Croatia were great, to include Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split, Montenegro, Mostar, and Rovinj.
There was one lady guide for city tour in (Kotor), who was very distracted and on her phone quite a bit
Overall, our 6 people group had a great time.
I do suggest preparing folks regarding lot and lot of walking on cobblestone pathways, that are very tiring. We were walking at least 15-20,000 steps a day, every single day we were in Croatia, and this included climbing high stone steps and uphill walks.
I highly recommend this tour as it is gorgeous, but with days of rest in between

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found Ivan and his wife!! They helped me plan the best trip ever on super short notice very quickly!
I absolutely would not have been able to organize a trip this well without their help. They know all of the locals guides for booking tours and making arrangements that we would never have been aware of otherwise. These tour guides were fantastic and all locals. I was also able to change the times of some of the tours last minute due to flight changes which was very helpful.
I could not recommend them more highly and want to go back!

Overall this was very good Some hotels could have been better Rooms were small and sometimes bathrooms were very small Guides were great except for the one we had in Monte Negro who was too busy on the phone to pay much attention to us Drivers were all very good.

Bruno and team served us very well and made our vacation in Croatia memorable. Kudos to our local guides, especially Dora and Mia, who were gracious and patient! Highly recommend this local travel service…brilliant concept!

Our 10 day adventure began in Zagreb. Mario was our guide and he was fabulous! The sights we visited along our travels included 3 National Parks I think we took over 500 pics as every turn created a beautiful landscape. Plitvice Lakes waterfalls were breath taking and Krka National park rivers and rapids were spectacular. From there, we discovered Split and Hvar and got ready for 3 days island hopping on E-bikes.. We met up with Goran as our guide and were treated to manageable 15-20 mile bike hikes. I am 74 and my wife is 67.. what a great experience to visit Korkula island, Pelješac peninsula and finally Mjet island and national
park. Cycling was a great way to see so much of Croatia! We ended our trip to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. We had visited this city one month earlier on a cruise ship trip. So, we were treated to mountain top views and fortresses that we would never have seen without our wonderful guide Goran. We can’t say enough about the coordination, the accommodations were 5 star+ and the friendships we made in just 10 days. We wanted to adopt them both snd take them home 🤗 KimKim and Robert (Robi) could not have done a more professional and satisfying job for us. You have to put Croatia on your bucket list!!!

We enjoyed being in all the places that Anna Maria recommended.

All the service persons she recommended were very nice, attentive and efficient. They were very knowledgeable about the places they took us to.

Our trip to Croatia was a very good experience, due to the excellent program due to the excellent program that Kimkim put together for us.

Nikola was amazing! He planned the absolute perfect trip for us. Every detail was taken care of. We never had to think about transports to get anywhere, which was so great. The excursions he picked were top notch along with all the tour guides that he had for us. They gave us the true Crotia experience. Hi. We got back a week ago from Croatia and had a fabulous time. The logistics, hotels, tours and Nikola's personal help were all wonderful. In particular, the tour guides Nikola had arranged were knowledgeable, locals, and enthusiastic. Grgo on Hvar Island must have known every person we drove by and we ended in their family wine cellar eaten a lunch cooked by his mother. Our visit to Croatia was amazing. Our organiser, Tina, created the perfect itinerary for our week travelling from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. The entire week was seemless, from our first transfer to Split via Plitvice Lakes. The private tour guides in Plitvice Lakes and Dubrovnik were amazing. Every transfer from multiple ferry trips, car transfers and cable cars happened without any hiccups. Our hotel accommodation in every port was perfect, especially the beautiful Hilton in Dubrovnik. To be located only 100 metres from the Old Town made our visit so easy and enjoyable. We had an amazing day on a jet boat tour in Hvar which was one of our favourite activities on our month long holiday. in Europe. Words cannot describe what a fantastic trip we had in Croatia. Daniela and her husband Rob were put together the perfect itinerary that exceeded expectations. Accommodations (mix of hotels and air b&b's, activities, transfers, transportation....everything was like a well oiled machine. Everyday, we looked forward to receiving the next day's activities with pins for all destinations, food recommendations from best gelato to best seafood! We felt like we had a guardian angel and were always able to contact them via What'sApp. Indeed, on our way home, we left our mobile phone in the cab. We called Rob and within 15 minutes the driver returned to the airport. Crisis averted!

When we were trying to decide whether or not to book through Kimkim, we read the reviews. Several mentioned the "lack of transparency in pricing". Honestly, the quality of our trip; the reassurance that all accommodations were solid; knowing we had a reliable contact in case of any issues was worth every penny! We won't hesitate to book another trip and for anyone considering travel to Croatia Rob and Daniela were 6 stars!

Nikola came up with an amazing trip for my husband and I and our friends. We never worried about anything - it was all taken care of and Nikola was quick to respond with any questions we had. Our hotel accommodations were incredible and even more luxurious than I expected. He set up unique tours for us-the culinary experience in the Konavle region of Croatia (near Dubrovnik)being one of the most memorable. I would highly recommend Kimkim for your next vacation.

Our trip to Croatia was amazing. Great people, great food and such wonderful history. Robi was awesome with planning our trip from Dubrovnik to Zagreb including the national parks. The arrangements were wonderful and he even found a few unexpected sites for us to visit. He checked in with us every night and sent us updated information and even managed to work with the weathe.I would highly recommend him and Kimkim.

From start to finish we had an incredible trip to Croatia. Antonia did a fantastic job with our trip plan. Every transfer and tour went off without a problem. Every driver, guide, tour/experience, and accomodation was phenominal! Croatia is such a beautiful country with warm, welcoming, and helpful people. I loved the small experiences that allowed us to get to know the guides and drivers and hear their stories. Antonia always made sure she was available if we needed anything at all. Bruno was responsive and thorough in his planning—during the trip there was bad weather which would have ruined our excursions—he reached out to us a few days prior to this and reorganized the dates of our excursions for us to ensure we had great weather for each activity! He went above and beyond!

We couldn't have been more happy with the planning and execution of our trip organized by Robi. If anyone is interested in exploring a majority of this absolutely beautiful country, I would look no where other than Robi and his team. I would recommend him to any and everyone looking to visit Croatia. We were able to explore the popular 'hot spots' while still getting authentic and personalized experiences most people wouldn't be able to achieve pursuing a larger or non local travel agency. It was a great mix of national park and scenery, city tours and history, active exploration such as biking the peljesac peninsula, kayaking near Korcula, and climbing the Ston fortress walls, good food and wine.

An experience well worth it!

We had a wonderful trip with excursions planned that were great for both me and my father who have very different tastes in what we enjoy. Most of our evenings we were left free to roam with Anna-Maria always ready with good suggestions for where to roam to. Any small hiccups we had on the trip were promptly and painlessly handled! Would definitely book again!

Croatia was amazing. Full of history and great food and wonderful people. Robi was outstanding making our arrangements and keeping in contact with us. Because of Robi we had a fantastic trip.

Very well supported during the planing and while on the road. First time using KimKim. I was concerned about the quality of the travel support I was doing to recieve, but it was great. No issues. I might use them again.

We had a brilliant time cycling between Split & Dubrovnik.
Robi's organisation is excellent and we were accompanied on our daily rides by Borna who made sure everything just right. We have never experienced such care on many other cycling holidays - and would recommend this trip wholeheartedly.
