Beautiful hotel and excellent service. 15-20 minute walk to old town.

Pure elegance and excellent location.

Great hotel with amazing facilities (pools and beach), but located a 2 euro bus ride or 15 euro uber ride from the old town. The rooms are a little dated.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Wonderful family owns it and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay and to help you with whatever you need. Room are great - very clean with comfy beds and the rooms are well designed. Great breakfast in the morning! I will go back for sure!

Very conveniently located. Incredibly helpful staff who had rooms ready early and made us several dinner reservations. Delicious breakfast that was included in the price of our rooms.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! We were originally going going to stay at the Beach Bay Hvar, but I'm so happy our plans changed. I think this hotel was a much better fit for my family. The rooms were small, but if you're doing Hvar correctly, you're not spending much time in the rooms. I loved the included breakfast each morning, and I loved the bar space in the evening. The location cannot be beat. We were literally five steps from the ferry when we arrived on the island; however, the hotel does a nice job of keeping the lobby space quiet, serene, and private. While this hotel does not have a pool, its sister hotel (Adriana Spa) does and is a very short walk away. It was super easy to walk into that hotel, show our hotel key, and take the elevator up to the spa and/or rooftop pool for a relaxing break from sightseeing. Overall, I would recommend Riva Marina Hvar hotel based on location and sea view alone. Everything else was the cherry on top! (Side note: Hvar was my favorite stop on my trip, and I wish I was still there now.)

One of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed in. I really wish I could have stayed one more day. It felt incredibly luxurious, our room was very large by European standards, the breakfast each day was incredible, and overall, I felt lucky to be there. I also think the location was PERFECT. It's right outside the walls of the city, which I think is ideal. If you can afford it, I'd recommend this hotel again and again.

Doris was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I am only taking off one star because some members of our group were slightly picky eaters and felt awkward when they did not want to try things like squid ink pasta or sardines. We loved the prosciutto, cheese, truffle pasta, bread, gelato, and of course, the wine. We also felt like we actually learned a lot about the city of Split in addition to its cuisine.

Our tour guide, Elena, was wonderful: friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and clearly took great pride in the sights. Krka was beautiful, of course, but I especially enjoyed the stops to Trogir and Skradin.

So happy to see other parts of the island outside of Hvar Town. Our guide, Tea, was simply lovely. She was friendly, kind, answered all of our questions, drove expertly up very scary mountain roads, and took a great deal of pride in her island. I would recommend Tea as an island tour guide to anyone. Also, I do not remember the name of the gentleman who was our guide for the olive oil tasting, but he was great, too!

We saw some truly amazing sights. Highlights were the Blue Cave, Palmizana, and Stiniva Cove. I am only taking off one star because the trip was actually quite long--maybe longer than eight hours. We were very tired of swimming and sun by the time we got back to the hotel. The captain/guide were very friendly, but this trip might be more suited to groups of friends in the 20s or 30s than families or older travelers.

Alberto was amazing! I loved him. He walks kind of fast, which was fine for me, but might be problematic for some visitors.

Each of the three islands was beautiful. Lunch was tasty, though if you order the fish, please know you will receive an entire large fish. A very large boat with a large group, so less personal than some of the other day trips/boat trips/tours we experienced on our trip. But if you prefer a more anonymous tour, this is probably for you.

Great location. Rooms are simple and have small kitchenette. Includes a nice breakfast brought to your room. There is no elevator. We were on the top floor and it was a haul up 4 flights. Just be prepared for that.

Great location 5 minutes away from the center of Old Town so very quiet but convenient. Restaurant is excellent.

Great location. Great room. Great views. Great pool. Food and beverage situation was disappointing. Food was terrible and though they had a decent wine list, none were available. Was strange. Do not recommend a meal there. Excellent restaurants within an easy walk.

Beautiful resort and wonderful staff. The children loved the pool and slide.

Wonderful and helpful staff and a breathtaking view at this location. Absolutely stunning! The city bus stop at the resort that went to old town was very convenient.

Lovely hotel in beautiful area! The bar and restaurant was great. Checkin could have been a little better and friendlier but bartender made up for it! Room on the corner was awesome!

This was the best day of our whole vacation. Our boat captain Josko was the absolute best! We swam, saw the blue and green caves, visited stunning beaches, and had a delicious meal.

The meal at the farm itself was delcious and the setting was beautiful. The tour was fine, but it didn't include a visit to the artist's home or the museum as advertised and we were a little disappointed about that.

The restaurant our driver picked was amazing. Just on the water and the fish was so fresh and had a lovely table side deboning.

This excursion was so much more than we had hoped for. Our guide, Marco, was AWESOME. He was super knowledgable, but also super chill and fun to hang out with. We loved learning the history of the villages as well as the plants. My kids have both listed this as one of their favorite activities from the trip. The countryside is beautiful but to learn more about the nature and people was wonderful!

The service we received here was five stars. From the moment of our arrival until checkout we were treated like royalty! The room itself was very small and there was no space to open up our suitcases. There was also a lot of noise upstairs, however, by the time we were ready for bed it quieted down. The location was excellent and right near the palace. The breakfast was made early for our convenience and delicious.

Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He grew up there and even shared some childhood memories. The end of the ride was a slow incline and he even helped me along by putting a gentle hand on by bike while I road. We also enjoyed the delicious and authentic lunch provided!

This was such a fun day! The oysters were the best we have ever had! The wine tasting after was also a lot of fun and it was great to see where they store the wine and learn a little about the process.

this was an enjoyable day on the sea. Our skipper was knowledgeable about the area and took us where we expressed an interest. We stopped at an island and walked around, enjoying some of the local sites. We also took a couple dips in the ocean which was so lovely!

This was a very enjoyable day at the home of Katarina. She was very gracious and picked us up from our hotel and delivered us to her home. There we were given a tour of the garden and helped prepare a delicious lunch.

This is my dream hotel. I loved the design-- modern, but comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The restaurant (dinner and lunch) was fantastic under mature trees and umbrellas with an attentive staff. The views and service from the lounge patio were also wonderful! We were in the Villa building with a large, comfortable and modern room. Sadly, we didn't have a view or a balcony as we were on the first floor (back of a building). But it did make coming and going through our day very easy. The location is fabulous and a stone's throw from the Old City and bus stops. The service is top-notch.

The location and staff were perfect and lovely. The main challenge with this hotel is accessibility. There are a LOT of stairs; 3 sets to get to your room with no elevators. The staff kindly takes up your bags, but traveling with older people it wasn't as easy as we would have liked given the amount of walking/strolling you do in a day. The breakfast spread was nice but our least favorite on the trip. The staff was really nice and kind-- and made up for the other elements. Definitely ask for a sea view room! Watching the boats come in and out of the marina was one of our favorite things. The patio views were really calming and lovely.

This was a wonderfully modern and comfortable hotel. We loved the patio dining (delicious and overlooking the yachts) and the vast breakfast spread. This was the most comfortable bed that opened out to a large balcony. The shower was roomy and it had a separate bathtub! The roof deck pool was also wonderful to cool down in. The only reason this hotel didn't get 5-stars is because we faced the street and both rooms you could hear the very loud street and the restaurant/club music was SO loud at night. Definitely get waterview rooms for some peace and quiet.

We loved this day trip. Totally a wonderful day trip. We loved going to Persalt and the little boat trip to the monastery. Kotor and a beautiful lunch (on our own) was a lovely treat which was recommended by our driver. Gabriel was a wonderful driver, we just wish we had a guide to give us a bit more history of the area. But he made great stops along the way and gave us his personal history which was nice! I would have liked to have spent more time in Kotor!

Pero was wonderful! He was very well-educated and adaptable for the kids. Pero was very knowledgable and we wish we had more time with him.

Antonio and Patricia were fantastic. This was our favorite activity. Antonio made it super fun for the kids by feeding the deer, finding a baby octopus and a sea star, and letting us try sea urchin! He was very knowledgable and knew the waters well having grown up in Korcula.

Love taking the horses through fields and into the water. We didn't realize we could have taken the reins, but they walked us instead. So that made it less fun. It was still beautiful, but the kids would have liked it better had they had the reins.

It was fine, but would have rather had Antonio and Patricia do the tour.

Christina was great and new all the local spots. She gave us a nice history tour along with all the yummy food. Our favorite was the truffle pasta and the desserts.

A historic spot only a short walk away from plenty of city activities. Looks great inside and out, and has extremely attentive and courteous staff.

A fun little spot that was perfect for the two of us, but would be on the cramped side with a larger party.

Ana shared plenty of GoT filming fun facts and had some fun visual aids to bring scenes from the show to life on the streets. We also asked her to include some general Dubrovnik history and culture into her tour, and we learned a lot!

Grgo picked us up in the afternoon, showed us some of the island that we otherwise would've never seen, and showed us some Hvar history. We tasted a number of wines at Duboković that were all superb, and ended up buying a bottle to take home with us. We then visited Grgo's family home and tasted some of their own wines alongside a light snack, all of which was extremely good.

After a short drive from Dubrovnik, we had a lovely walking tour of Cavtat. We learned about the city's history, its relationship with Dubrovnik, and took in some gorgeous sights. We then took another short drive to a family farm near Čilipi, and had an experience that I don't think I'll ever forget. Our host shared area history, family stories, and treated us to a delicious meal. The view was divine.

We learned, we ate, and we repeated the process. I'm not sure if the tour was meant for more than two, but there was SO MUCH FOOD. Everything was delicious and we took a good portion of leftover snacks along with us for the rest of the day.

Wow. The city was worth seeing and the highlight was the local lunch after that was set up for us was outstanding.

I highly recommend this activity. Beautiful cycling tour with history and concluded with an amazing wine cellar wine tasting and local snacks.

Our Velinka was an absolute Angel! She welcomed us with home made Rakia and prepared us a huge and delicious breakfast spread the next morning ( bigger and better than many hotels!)

The best amenities possible for a 3 star hotel. This was a very clean, new and updated hotel. Especially after the 16 lake guest house, the room and shower felt extra spacious. Breakfast was ok

Old hotel and NOT AT ALL functional. Huge rooms but extremely tiny bathrooms with no place for anything, the shower door would not close. There was no room to even sit properly on the potty without hitting the bathtub. There was one small counter to hold a toothbrush, soap and toilet paper! The air condition er did not work.

BEST HOTEL of the whole trip. If we could do this again, we would stay at Amfora for more days.

Clean and decent but a little old/ dated hotel. Had a slight “ nursing home vibe”.

Bruno and Mario were great guides and drivers. We stopped at Rastoke village and then went to plitvice lakes park, which was breathtakingly beautiful. They guided us through the park and also explained all the natural phenomena leading to the waterfalls and told us about the history of the place as well. A day well spent.

Krka is a BIG and spread out national park. So glad we had our guides ( Bruno & Mario) otherwise we would not have been able to see so much of the park in one day!
