In a nutshell, it was a phenomenal trip from start to finish. Sarah did a marvelous job working with me in the pre-planning stages and putting together what promised to be an active holiday that covered a lot of ground, and once we arrived in Croatia, Sarah and Ivan were in regular contact with us to make sure things were going well. Their accessibility and immediate response time was impressive, to say the least. It's difficult to fully convey how prompt, professional, courteous and engaging the drivers and guides were, but we are grateful to our drivers (Ivo and Zoran), our kayak guides (Eddie and T), our speedboat skipper (Ivo), and our bike tour guides (Joseph and Joke) for ensuring we had a truly memorable vacation in a very special part of the world.

The all-day boat tour to the Elaphiti Islands was exceptional. Our boat captain, a Croatian Navy Seal, was an excellent guide. The owner of the company personally came to our hotel and picked us up for the tour. Overall, it was a fantastic and personalized experience that I would love to do again.

Hvar - Island Bike Tour with Local Food and Drink Tastings

This was one of the most special excursions of the trip. We rode on brand new e-bikes with fantastic local guides. At the end of the tour, we went back to the owner's tasting room for a wonderful wine and cheese tasting. It was an amazing, personalized experience that I would highly recommend to others.

Our day trip to Ljubljana was a memorable experience. We had a small group bike tour with a great guide, and we covered a lot of ground that we wouldn't have been able to on foot. The weather was colder than expected, but we still enjoyed exploring the picturesque European town. I would definitely recommend this day trip and biking tour.

We had a wonderful time touring Croatia. Nikola made sure we knew what was going on each day and was a great help when our flight was delayed and adjustments had to be made. He made great suggestions for restaurants as well. Our guide in Split, Ivana was a wealth of knowledge and had a great sense of humor which made the tour that much better. Our driver Alex was also a highlight of our trip, answering many questions. Marco and Luka from Makarun Hertitage Rooms in Split were great as well and we’ll go back just to stay with them again. I can’t say enough good things about their kindness, the rooms and their restaurant! Last but not least, Natalija at Villa Nora in Hvar was kind with suggestions on what to do and see!

Sarah & Ivan of Royal Croatian tours, were fantastic. They helped us plan and schedule everything, cars, hotels, local guides and experiences. We were so happy to have their local expertise even before our trip started but once we were traveling they were invaluable. They found us wonderful accommodations at every location that were perfect for what we wanted and had transportation all arranged. Almost everything went like clockwork and was very well arranged, the only things that went wrong were two cancelled ferries due to weather and in both cases we contacted Sarah and Ivan and they immediately helped devise a back up plan and arranged when necessary a driver to our next destination with no delay . They were quick to respond to any questions and always available by WhatsApp, even at 6 am when our ferry was cancelled at the last moment. We would highly recommend Sarah and Ivan for Croatian travel and Kimkin made it very easy to stay connected with them.

Robi and his team were absolutely over the top. It was a dream vacation. His guides and drivers were knowledgeable and professional. All of his recommendations were spot on. Robi was available 23/7 to answer any question. Our only regret was that we did not get a chance to meet Robi in person and thank hi. We missed him by 5 inured in Mali Ston.

Robi was absolutely wonderful and went out of his way to ensure all 4 of us had a customized experience that was epic! He modified things as we went, including accommodating someone who wasn’t able to follow the original program due to injury. He is keenly observant and quickly figured out what would delight us. He is super responsive, warm, friendly, fun, super smart, knows everyone, has encyclopedic knowledge of history, culture and nature, and shares his love of Croatia in a way that is infectious! We could not have been happier. Especially loved the cycling routes and hikes he chose. Thank you, Robi!

Antonia and her team were amazing. The level of communication and commitment that she displayed was great. I have being traveling 2-3 times a year for 20 years and I have not encounter a travel agent as good as her.
She paid attention to details was very knowledgeable and caring of our needs. She contacted us almost on a by email when we moved from locations to check on our accommodations and our schedule.

This hotel is like living in an Italian villa. Very classic with beautiful paintings and sculptures in your common living area and rooms. It is an architectural beauty. Hey good service and very clean. Very close to all the attractions and tat the same time not noisy at night. The apartment use to be part of the soldier barracks in the time of the Emperor Diocletian. But remodeled recently with an exquisite taste. Highly recommended!!

The service in this hotel was amazing. To start they carried your luggage from the pier to the hotel (a lot of stairs), second they upgraded our room without us asking. Just because it was available. We really enjoyed our trip and working with Antonia to plan our family vacation to Croatia. We really enjoyed all our guides and places we visited. We went to Split, Hvar, Kotor and Dubrovnik. We went hiking, ate delicious seafood at the oyster farm in Ston, saw some of the Game of Thrones sites and just had a wonderful time seeing these beautiful countries.

This is an amazing location. Right in the center of Split and it was extremely clean. We loved that it felt like we were staying in a castle with all the exposed stone. Our only complaint was that the bed was a little hard, but this is just a personal choice and understand everyone has their own preference when it comes to beds. Great location and host and would t hesitate to come back again.

If I could give Robi 10 stars I would.

This was the trip of a lifetime. My wife and I were celebrating our ten year anniversary and we wanted to do a really special trip. This was our first time traveling to Croatia and also my first time using a travel agency. But with two weeks in an unfamiliar country I decided to that the risk of using an agency was less than the risk of going it alone. I'm so glad I did.

Robi patiently worked with us for weeks while we figured out where we were going to go and what kinds of things we wanted to do. We found a perfect blend of planned VS spontaneous time. Robi was amazing throughout it all. He sent us google maps pins every day as well as detailed travel notes about the routes - I never once had to worry about where we were headed next or how to get there. He gave us restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us. We stayed at six different hotels and every single checkin went smoothly. And when we wanted to change things up during the trip he was incredibly responsive and helpful; he never once pressured us to stick to the plan or do something.

It would have been impossible for us to experience a trip like this without Robi. If I had tried to do this on my own it would have been a stress filled two weeks and we'd have missed out on so many experiences. Some highlights:
- Visited about a dozen historical sites including Roman and pre-roman ruins, some on our own and some with tour guides Robi set up
- Ate in restaurants that ranged from Michelin stars to tiny Konobas serving local country food
- Rode in a small boat and ate oysters right off the line with the fisherman
- Tasted wine from a wide range of producers from across the country

I'm not usually one to write long, glowing reviews. But if you are still reading this then you're probably strongly considering whether or not to actually use Kimkim and Robi's services. We've been home a couple days now and I have zero regrets about what we did or how we did it. Kimkim's site is easy to use and as your trip evolves it makes it easy to see the latest itinerary and give your agent specific feedback about every part of it. We ended up printing the whole thing out and carrying it with us in a little notebook. As a detailed planner, my wife really loved that.

So... I can't speak for every agent on Kimkim, but I can tell you that if you are going to Croatia then there is nobody better to work with than Robi and Kimkim has been an awesome platform to use for our coordination.

Anna-Maria did such an amazing job for our trip to Split, Croatia. Krka is a beautiful park! Lots of walking which was nice after a long flight. March is a bit cooler in temperature, but it's a great time to visit. Less crowds and the waterfalls were incredible.

Anna Maria was about as good as it gets as a tour planner and very flexible as we made adjustments to our plan prior to the trip, and very accessible during the stay. WE had a couple of minor issue and she was able to resolve them very quickly.

My trip was back in August and I’m sorry that this review has taken so long to write, but the fact that I am writing it now is a testament to how truly wonderful Sarah is and how much gratitude I feel towards her for designing an amazing itinerary and also giving us a ton of support throughout the whole trip.

First, since this was post pandemic last august, airlines were just a complete disaster and unfortunately our situation was no different. We had delays AND cancelled flights in both directions which of course messes with your itinerary. While no one likes to be in that situation, having Sarah as our contact made everything run so much more smoothly and made me feel so much better. Every time something did not go according to plan I would shoot her a text and miraculously everything would get resolved. She immediately adjusted our itinerary to make sure we didn’t miss the things that were important to us. Because she had paid such close attention to what I told her I wanted, I didn’t even have to ask her! She just understood. I had another incident where I hurt my back and had to cancel one of the tours we had booked at the last minute and Sarah immediately found me an alternative that would suit us better at no extra charge. She really goes above and beyond and solves problems instantly!

Now the trip itself was just magic. I wish I could go back. I’ve never seen water so blue, and the people were lovely, and the history is rich and the food is just spectacular!! I was pretty ignorant about Croatian food and wine but that was a real shame because every dinner was fantastic and I really fell in love with the white wine. This was my ideal vacation because Croatia truly allows you to have any kind of trip you desire. There are beaches, boats, natural parks with gorgeous hiking and views, cities, cool architecture, history, wine country, Michelin star restaurants and the list just goes on.

This beautiful country should absolutely be on your bucket list and I think I will be back many times. Sarah is the perfect person to guide you through it. She knows every region and every activity and she’s incredibly competent, responsive and just an overall people person! Thank you so much for your support Sarah!

We are first time clients for travel with Kim Kim and had the privilege to work with Nikola to plan a 16 day trip to Croatia with my family (husband and three young kids). We were VERY IMPRESSED and HIGHLY RECOMMEND both our local travel specialist and the agency! The planning process was very easy and Nikola was very fast to reply to emails/calls and adapt our itinerary to meet our travel goals. He was able to provide local expertise for itinerary (Zagreb - Plitvice - Split - Hvar - Korcula - Dubrovnik). My husband and I are very experienced travellers but were a little nervous travelling with our three kids (age 5, 3 and 10 months) to Europe in the high season with COVID reaching endemic levels. Once we landed in Zagreb our trip was so smooth and easy. Nikola had arranged for all airport transfers, all accommodations (which were beautiful and all very central), breakfast each morning to make things easy with the kids, and all private transfers. He was always available if we had any questions and to adapt to any unexpected needs. It felt like Kim Kim went above and beyond to make sure we had the trip of a lifetime and our kids had a blast!!!! Thank you, and we can't wait to plan another trip soon!

What a perfectly orchestrated trip.
The hotels were great overall - comfortable, good locations, lovely hosts. The 16 Lakes guesthouse was neat with a delightful host. Valamar Resort was a treat, great island, food and surroundings. The Zicara apartment at the end was especially perfect in timing and location - we had a comfortable cozy stay and an opportunity to decompress from a busy whirlwind 10 days.
Highlights of our trip: oyster tasting, hikes in the national parks, interesting castles, Mostar visit, Ston wine-tasting, Split harbour and Dubrovnik walls.
Bruno went above and beyond in every aspect of our stay. As a dedicated guide, he made our trip personal, informative, and varied. Bruno passed along his love for and excitement about the country of Croatia. Goran with the boat trip to the Elaphiti Islands was also perfect as a guide, historian and conversationist. So I was very nervous to tour Croatia by myself and as a travel agent, I know how important it is to have someone who invest in knowing what type of tour works best for you. Robi was that person for me. Working online, we crafted the perfect tour, understanding what highlights and I wanted to see but also providing additional suggestions. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Croatia but at the same time provided space for me to just enjoy the views, relax, and know that I was in good hands. Croatia is awesome and I would go back, my whole family would, tomorrow. The people, the history, the blue sea, the wine, the food, all of it made this the best trip we have ever taken. None of this would have been possible without Nikola. He was there for me every step of the way as we planned this, as we changed our minds about things, and every night made sure we were all set. I cannot sing his praises enough. Everything was perfect- the guides, the transportation, the hotels. Having a private lunch in the 350-year-old wine cellar in Hvar was the most amazing thing as was our guide for that day Ggor. All of the guides- Ivana, Ggor, Nikki, Marianna were perfect as were our drivers. I highly recommend using Nikola- can't say enough great things about him and this trip

Anna-Maria Frid planned my family's 10-day trip to Croatia. She did a fabulous job, and we will absolutely use Anna-Maria AND kimkim again. We had six in our group, with the ages ranging from 29 to 66. Each one of us had a fantastic time, and couldn't stop raving about the lovely people and the shear beauty of the country . Nearly every detail of our trip was planned by Anna-Maria with our preferences in mind, and she performed nearly flawlessly. She was easily accessible during the trip, and when we asked for tweaks to the itinerary, she was quickly on everything. Anna-Maria was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, accommodating, and an all around joy to deal with. We had drivers and/or guides every day of our trip, and each one was seemingly better than the one the day before. Well done kimkim and Anna-Maria. I'd give six (out of five) stars to each of kimkim and Anna-Maria.

Antonia was professional, friendly and promptly responsive in helping us plan and implement our trip to Croatia. We couldn’t have asked for more. The guides (Ivana in Split, Grgo in Havre, and Ivana in Dubrovnik were excellent as was our driver, Blaz.
The hotel accommodations were comfortable and well located. The staffs were helpful and responsive. Good choices!
