Roberto was such a great guide. He was able to adapt to our needs and he was so passionate about Croatia. He took us into places on the ways to ones we knew about as it would be so interesting. His historical knowledge was excellent and he loved to tell us about it. He chose such a great selection of accommodations and all the breakfast's provided were very good. It is hard to choose one place but some of the places I loved was Hum, Montovo, Porec and Plitvice Park. Oh the Pula and the amphitheatre. If we were to do the same trip again I would make it 2 days more as sometimes to see all we asked to see the time in the car was long and we got into places late. I would highly recommend Roberto to any of my friends.

His love of Croatia was contagious and we appreciated his insights and perspectives during our 7 day tour with him. He was flexible and was accommodating to our needs and interests. Bruno arranged a trip to Croatia that was the type of one-of-a-kind travel experiences that's very difficult to find. He was extremely organized and responsive throughout the planning process - crafting a unique itinerary tailored to my personal travel style and interests. Once the trip was underway, a serries of knowledgeable and friendly tour guides and drivers was there to provide a gentle assist while sharing their insight into each destination. Bruno also checked in periodically to make sure things were going well. Best of all, I still had plenty of freedom to explore each stop, enjoy the local food and culture, get myself lost, or simply relax - all depending on my daily whims. This was exactly what travel should be - from beginning to end!

My husband and I chose the 17 day self guided Best of Croatia Tour, and it was a fabulous itinerary customized by Robi. We have really appreciated all of the patience that Robi has shown us throughout this process (since it initially was scheduled for Fall of 2020. Throughout the pandemic lockdown Robi and I kept in touch, and he never pressured us at all to book, but was kind and understanding of our desire to come when we felt it was the right time.
Our trip was outstanding and we felt that we really did experience "the Best of Croatia". Robi's suggestions for our itinerary were excellent. We liked starting in Zagreb, the capital, and appreciated our tour of the highlights of the capital city with Bruno, who was so passionate about his country! Part of the excitement of traveling for us is learning about the history and getting a glimpse into the culture, and Bruno did that! We were happy that Robi suggested to drive to the north of Croatia to visit the Trakoscan Castle - I loved how the furniture is still set up in their place and you can almost imagine how it was back in the 14th century! Also we were happily surprised at the beautiful highways that Croatia has, they are all so pristine and it was a pleasure to travel on them. We also appreciated the GPS that Robi made sure was in our rental.
We adored Istria and indeed it did remind us of Tuscany, so lovely. The little towns of Groznjan was super cute, as was Motovun. Porec was gorgeous and we will always remember the delicious seafood meal we had at Konoba Aba!
Plitvice was a highlight - I am so happy that Robi booked our accommodation near the park entrance the night before, as we were almost the first to enter the park, and seeing those stunning waterfalls almost by ourselves was just the best. We can understand how busy the park gets later on in the day or in the summer months, and it would have been a lesser experience, had we gone when it was crowded-it was perfect.
Each day was planned perfectly by Robi, with so much thought and consideration. He would send us pins each night for the following day, and so we were able to navigate the driving part all so well, and did not have to use data (which Robi taught us)!
There were so many highlights along the way - we loved the city of Zadar - it is full of character, and it is so beautiful, with the sea organ providing a wonderful ambience-just loved it!
Robi also placed us in accommodation right at the gates of Krka - he suggested we catch the first boat and we did-Krka is simply breathtaking!! The power of those waterfalls in incredible. We enjoyed the best Sea Bass of our lived in Skradin at Konoba Dalmatino.
We left our rental car in Split. Robi arranged for a walking tour of Split and it was a fantastic tour of the Diocletian's Palace.
Next we took the ferry to Hvar. This was our favorite island. It had a good "vibe", and we did not even party there (they call it the party island). It is just a gorgeous Medieval town, with quaint alleys full of little shops and restaurants. Robi booked "The DeVecchi Rooms" - our favorite-absolutely adorable, and again, the perfect location for walking everywhere. We took a beach day on Hvar at Ponkoji Dol Beach - you can walk from Old town-stay on the sea wall, don't follow Google maps-the walk on the sea wall is so pretty and the beach is lovely!
Then off to Korcula, another island with lots of vineyards, and a few beaches. We did a bike and wine tour here, and loved every minute of it.
Robi arranged for the driver, Goran, to pick us up in Korcula, take us on the car ferry to the Peljasic Peninsula, where we embarked on the BEST, most BREATHTAKING bike ride of our lives, along the coastline of the peninsula. Goran also took us to an amazing Vineyard where we sampled a few delicious red wines. This day was a definite highlight for us! And from there Goran drove us to Ston, where we walked the walls and had yet another seafood feast at Konoba Bakus-delicious!
Goran picked us up from Ston the next morning and onto our last stop-Dubrovinik. This walled city does not disappoint - it is jaw dropping!! We were not big fans of Split, but we LOVED Dubrovinik. The wall is incredible, and the stories from Antea, our walking guide in Dubrovnik were fascinating. Antea is a true local and she shares her very personal understanding of the history of Dubronik-one of the most interesting and cool cities you will ever see. We walked to another amazing beach, and the accommodations Robi arranged for us in Dubrovnik were perfect.
Frankly, this trip was faultless, because of Robi's attention to every detail. He is very hands on, and will communicate with you daily, in case there is anything you need. If you want to have someone plan and organize the best trip to get to know Croatia, you must book Robi-he is kind and considerate and so generous with his time - he went above and beyond and always says that his happiness comes from making his customers happy - how can you beat this? Thank you a million times Robi!

This was my first time using a travel agency for a trip. I've always been a very independent traveler and felt that using a travel agent would take away some of that spontaneity and freedom. In fact, it only enhanced the trip. Bruno arranged all the hotels and car rental for us, which took a lot of the stress away. And he was always there on WhatsApp to send us suggestions (always with easy-to-use directions), even helping us to figure out how to pay for parking, so that we were able to maximize our time enjoying the holiday and not spending wasted hours trying to find a place.
This was our first trip to southern Dalmatia and we saw a lot. I like to think of it as a great "taste" of what Dalmatia has to offer, and I can't wait to go back for more now that I have an idea of all there is to offer there. From Cavtat to Split and back again, it was all wonderful, the food (the oysters!), the sea, the hikes and bike rides of Mljet island, the fortifications of Ston and Dubrovnik, (and all the stairs). Especially lovely (and something I probably wouldn't have found on my own) was the Tristeno Arboretum and its Roman Aqueduct, reminding us just how long people have sailed these shores.
In addition we both really enjoyed our guide Pero's wonderfully detailed tour of the Diocletian's Palace in Split was both informative and filled with dry Dalmatian humor. In short, this could have been a mess of a holiday with us lost and frustrated, but thanks to Bruno and his team, we were able to pack a huge amount into a week.

Our quick tour of Croatia set up by Antonia was absolutely perfect. We had started a day late due to a canceled fight and Antonia miraculously and seamlessly changed hotels and tour times. We began with a day in Split with our wonderful guide Krystina. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. 5 stars! Next on to Hvar for two nights. Spectacular views and great food! Our tour of the countryside with Greg was fantastic. A special private rooftop dinner overlooking the sea made us feel like rock stars! On to Dubrovnik with a tour of the old town, cable car ride and walking the city walls. We finished with a cooking class in the country with a local family that really rounded out the trip.

We loved the itinerary that Robi put together for us, particularly the whole area of Istria, the Plitvice lakes and Krka National Park. We had visited Split and Dubrovnik previously and it was interesting to see how they had become so much more 'touristy'. We were pleased that the visit to Mostar was included too. All our accommodation was excellent, welcoming staff, good food and well situated. A minor criticism..the air conditioning in the vehicle could have been more efficient for those in the back!!
Bruno was an exceptional guide! He had patience, was courteous and had a great sense of humour! His knowledge was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending Robi and Bruno ( and Goran, Robi's cousin, who took us on an exciting boat trip!) for their expertise and care... nothing was too much trouble. A truly memorable trip to Croatia, Thank you All!

We were in No 3, I think, which was large, had comfy beds and had a washing machine, for which we were very grateful after being on a land tour for 11 days and we were then joining an island hopping cruise for a week. Our travelling companions were in the apartment next door, so they were able to use the washing facility too. It is near the Old Town of Dubrovnik, but you do have to be able to manage a lot of steps to get there and back, If you're fit, then I would definitely recommend it.

Robert was an excellent support to my friend and I! We had a well planned tour of the national parks with lodging, sights, directions, and car rental effectively/efficiently completed for us! Robert checked in everyday by text or call to assure that we had what we needed. We are so grateful to have had his expertise!

Roberto planned every detail perfectly. He was always available to answer our questions. He was able to give us good alternative options when weather impacted original plans.

I have done similar bike trips in The Netherlands, on Mallorca, in Portugal and in Italy. The trip in Croatia, handled by Robi and Daniela, was, BY FAR, much better and more personal than any other bike trip I've taken. The level of service is beyond belief. The individual care and attention were much more than I had expected. Wonderful exposure to the wine industry in Croatia along with wine tasting. City tour of Dubrovnick by Antea was PHENOMENAL!! The recommendations for restaurants and the arrangements for activities were all wonderful. If anyone tells me they are going on a bike trip to Croatia with any other company, I will tell them to cancel their trip and rebook it with Kimkim, Daniela and Robi. First Class, in every sense of the word. Thank you so much to Daniela and Robi!!!!!

I always like to wait a little bit after taking a trip to really think about the trip and give a review. The trip and itinerary put together by Robi and Kimkim was 5 stars and one of my favorite vacations I have ever been on. First, Robi was terrific on working on what we wanted on our trip from length of trip to hotels, to sights, etc. There was a lot of back and forth and I was always presented with multiple options. We had never been to Croatia so we were open to many suggestions, and it was perfect. Second the communication was top notch, any time we were going to a new city, Robi would whatsapp all details, even down to where to turn on a street, how early to be there, restaurants, etc. At no time on the vacation did we feel stressed as he setup everything perfect. Our trip was Split-Hvar-Korcula - Dubrovnik (with side trip to Kotor). The team he worked with was 5 stars with extra shout outs to Antonio in Split and Baldo in Dubrovnik. If you are wondering about using Robi and Kimkim, I highly recommend it for a special memorable trip.

As for sites, everyone is different, but renting a boat in HVAR and going into coves and swimming was terrific and beautiful, and the same happened in Dubrovnik and Robi was the captain and it was terrific also. Dubrovnik lives up to the hype. Kotor was incredible and you should ask for Baldo as a tour guide. In Split took a trip out to the Krka waterfalls and was a great trip. The day trip to Ston on the way to Dubrovnik was a great stop, from walking the walls to the oyster trip, to the salt plant. Be upfront with Robi on what you want and him and his team will find it, so enjoy Croatia

It is more of a B&B than hotel, but that is ok. The rooms and location were terrific. If you want staff to be around, this is not the place for you, but it was great otherwise. The staff was there in the morning for breakfast and cleaning up and were great. But not in the afternoon. Great views in old town overlooking the harbor.

We loved our guide for Plitvice Lakes, Jelena (I think) however Plitvice was SO crowded, the scenery was impacted by the droves of people that were there - nothing on your end, just an observation that it is hard to go to a place like this and experience it when there are 100 people behind you, in front of you and passing next to you. I don't know that I would recommend going there to anyone even though the site itself was beautiful.
We loved our two guides in Hvar, Gregor and Jelena (hiking and biking) - both tours were great. However, the bike guide ending in the basement of Gregor's father and receiving wine, olive oil, bread and cheese was amazing.
We loved our guide in Korcula, Mislav (biking) - he took us to an amazing lunch experience where the food was divine and the hostess loved doing her job, explaining about her garden the grappa processes, the olive oils and the food!
The guide at Mljet was a darling person but not such a knowledgeable guide and then we had a strange experience at the restaurant on the island where they brought us an appetizer that we didn't order and then charged us for it with the explanation of "It is on the menu". After lunch, there was definitely tension in the air - like I said, an odd experience. After going through this, I would recommend KimKim suggests that people bring a picnic (sandwiches) and water (our guide had none for us) and go to the fire stand at the top of the island - that view and hike was quite memorable. The restaurant is a rip-off -it was our most expensive meal in 12 days and we had no wine with lunch.
The guide Nika in Dubrovnik was an absolute joy to be with and she had SO much information to share with us - she was an incredible guide and just very warm and easy to be with.
The cooking class outside of Dubrovnik was amazing - they provided a vegetarian meal for me without me even asking! The things they had us make were lots of fun and easy - that experience was also fantastic.
We loved our guide "Disco" who drove us to Mostar and the falls. He was also so knowledgeable about the area, the war, the history of both Croatia and Bosnia. He was so personable and gave a lot of good options. I could have spent 30 minutes less at the falls to have that extra time in Mostar.

We loved Villa Nora in Hvar - the hostess there, Natalie, was so nice and ready to help us at any moment. The room was great and the breakfast was so cozy in the walled courtyard. Her sister was also a great cook and also was ready to help us. Great location and we loved being in old town.

The hotel in Korcula Fabris Inn was in a good location, adjacent to the old town. The room was nice but nothing special, the breakfast was nice as well and we loved sitting near the waterfront every morning while we had coffee and breakfast.

The Hotel Lero was nice, clean and modern and offered a fantastic breakfast each morning (I don't think I have had better coffee) - we enjoyed staying there. We had an issue with the A/C turning off around 5:30-6am which resulted in us getting up to turn it back on. We asked the front desk about it and it was never resolved (they sent someone up immediately but they said it was fine). I would have preferred staying in the old town just because that is where we spent the majority of our time but I think that is something we realized in hindsight. The hotel was nice but again, nothing special.

We loved Villa Nora in Hvar - the hostess there, Natalie, was so nice and ready to help us at any moment. The room was great and the breakfast was so cozy in the walled courtyard. Her sister was also a great cook and also was ready to help us. Great location and we loved being in old town. I also liked how the room was separate from the bathroom - that is a nice touch. As were the mints and dried figs that were everywhere - I would 100% go back to this hotel.

I loved that it was in the old town - there is just a small sign with the name so it feels like it blends right in with all the surrounding buildings.

The Fabris Inn was in a very good location, adjacent to the old town. The room was nice and clean but nothing special (i.e. old with history). The breakfast was also nice, and we loved sitting near the waterfront every morning while we had coffee and breakfast. There was plenty to choose from at the buffet style and they had one or two different pastries each day.

This hotel is clean and modern and has an incredible breakfast buffet. The rooms were nice though I didn't love the frosted bathroom door - I was traveling with a friend so that was a tiny bit awkward. Loved the towel rack and the soap and lotion. The front desk was very helpful and always responded to any requests we made. They lent us umbrellas when needed as well as boxed breakfast when we needed it. The coffee is fantastic.

It is about a 20 minute walk to the old town of Dubrovnik. Taking the bus was easy but I would have preferred something closer.

Very comfortable beds and linens. There was an issue with the A/C cutting off in the early morning so that was annoying but not a deal breaker - otherwise, we could set the temperature and it was nice and cold.

Small Group Island of Hvar Cycling Tour

We loved our biking guide Jelana - the ride was beautiful and she kept a nice pace - not too slow nor too fast. She pointed out some really great things along the way (the old roman roads, the path that the parades follow near Easter, little Venice etc.) She would stop when asked to allow for photos. I loved stopping near the end for gelato - that was the best gelato we had on the trip! Ending in the basement with wine, cheese, olive oil, meats etc was an amazing finish to an already amazing bike ride. Would do this trip again and again.

This was a great experience - we enjoyed Gregor's company and vast knowledge of the area. We had a great walk through all sorts of places - there was nothing strenuous about the walk which was nice since it was pretty hot. We ended with coffee in a cafe overlooking the sea - not as nice as the day before with the wine, cheese and bread but nice nonetheless.

Plitvice lakes are amazing the amount of people there is ridiculous. I wouldn't go back here simply because of the number of people. The infrastructure around the park is great, very beautiful but you are sharing it with a constant stream of people before and after you. I don't know how to resolve this but I really felt like the numbers of people took away from the experience of it.

We loved this experience. Our guide, Mislav, was great! He was very knowledgeable and took us to some beautiful places that we never would have found on our own. We then went for lunch at a small place and the hostess was wonderful about sharing her garden, telling us about the olive oils and liquors they made on the property. The ride was simply awesome and the lunch spot was delicious, relaxing and so fun.

I love e-bikes - I would not want to do this tour and a regular bike. Especially after that lunch!

Robi was an incredible guide who went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable week in Croatia. He's funny and light-hearted, friendly, experienced, and very knowledge about the local history and ecology. He worked incredibly hard to make sure we had the experience we wanted, and was very flexible to accomodate things we wanted to do or change. He knows a lot of people, including wine makers and restaurant owners, and will take you to hidden gems that you would never have found on your own. Really a phenomenal person and guide to spend a week with.

Sarah helped navigate our girlfriends trip through Croatia-starting in Split, stopping in Hvar and ending in Dubrovnik. She lined up transportation from airports, hotels and excursions. She stream-lined our vacation so we could enjoy all our requested sites. Marco was a fun Skipper that took us on an island tour and diving into a blue cave. Especially loved our wine tour in Hvar at Matkovic winery. Croatian people are so kind and respectfully and very proud of their heritage. It was a fun and inspiring trip.

We can't thank Nikola enough!! He organized and planned an amazing trip for our family! He thought of everything including an infant car seat for all vehicle transfers. He was always prompt with responses prior to our travel and answered all questions. During our trip to Croatia he was available day and night, adjusted our plans as needed, and reached out daily to ensure we were ready for the next day of our adventure. I would absolutely recommend working with him!

Additionally, the app "Trip Plans" made it very easy to access our daily schedule and obtain ferry tickets, etc.

Our trip was a very busy/active trip and kept us on the move. All hotels were well selected and provided us with everything we needed. Plitvice lakes is a MUST do when in Croatia. It is so beautiful!! We had mixed feelings with the tour/guide. We had a good experience and nothing against her, we just weren't sure that it was entirely necessary or that she added to the experience. I think it would've been just as pleasant to have been given the route that is normally taken, and to go alone. The lakes themselves were amazing and are very glad that they were incorporated into the trip.

My mom and I took two weeks to travel around Slovenia and Croatia, but because we were new to the countries and could not drive, hiring a travel agent was the perfect way around these hurdles.

Antonia was an absolute gem! She listened to our every need and respected even the minutest details in our list of likes/dislikes.
The trip went smoothly thanks to her detailed preparation and attention. The schedule she provided was a great representation of what we had discussed prior to the trip.

During the trip, Antonia was always quick to respond to any question. Moreover, her communication in English was excellent and very clear.
We could not get better restaurant recommendations and the guides she hired were all fantastic.

We had such a memorable time with good food and amazing people, which made our journey that much more special.
We would definitely like to use Antonia again and to see Croatia more!
