We had an incredible experience in Croatia thanks to the amazing Antonia! Her planning, recommendations, and attention to detail ensured we had an unforgettable vacation that was completely stress free.
Hvar was our favorite location, but we enjoyed everywhere we visited. All of our booked experiences were excellent, but we’ve listed our three favorites below.
In Hvar, our guide Grgo took us on a private tour of the island, where we learned about the island’s history and the locals. We enjoyed his family’s natural wines in their Konoba with cheeses, meats, and olives, and were brought to a restaurant in Yelsa for a delicious seafood dinner. This was one of our very favorite things we did on the trip!
After arriving in Dubrovnik, we were taken by private driver to Ston (about an hour drive). There, we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery as were taken by boat to a floating bar. Unlimited fresh oysters, muscles, wine, and bread were prepared for us on the water. We enjoyed learning about the oyster farm and our guide even sent us home with the shells of the oysters we ate for crafting.
Sea kayaking in a small group around Dubrovnik’s city walls and local islands was so fun and beautiful. Our guide, Roger, was knowledgeable and friendly, and shared information with us about Dubrovnik’s history and natural beauty. We enjoyed snorkeling, swimming in caves, and catching some sun on the pebblely beaches.
Of all the food we ate in Croatia, our favorite meal was at Panorama in Dubrovnik. Antonia helped us secure cable car tickets and a reservation along the fence, looking over the city at sunset. It was incredible. We were impressed by the service, cocktails, appetizers, and (of course) our meals! The sea bass was SO good.
All in all, an amazing trip. Thanks again to Antonia for the guidance and excellent support!

We received the most warm and hospitable welcome at Villa Toni in Split! They took the time to review a map with us and make recommendations on where to go and what to see while we were there. We were very comfortable in the room and loved the walk ability to everything we wanted to see and do while there. Even the breakfast was excellent. We were so lucky to stay on the 3rd floor at Devecchi Rooms. The suite was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. Everything was within walking distance and Devecchi Rooms is in the perfect location - in the middle of everything, but also on a relatively quiet street! We were so impressed that they pre-packaged a breakfast for us the morning of checkout, even though we were leaving prior to breakfast service starting. The service was friendly and they were very accommodating! We had an excellent experience staying here and would recommend to others!

Hotel More in Dubrovnik was stunning. I was initially skeptical about the location, as it was not walking distance to downtown, but wow - I am SO glad we stayed here instead of in the immediate downtown area. The hotel was beautiful and the sea view from our balcony was unforgettable. The breakfast service, cave bar, pools, and cocktail/dessert bar made the stay extra enjoyable. We could have spent an entire day at Hotel More, just enjoying the amenities, and been totally satisfied. Would highly recommend!

Hvar Half-Day Private Island Tour (Afternoon)

We can’t say enough about this experience. We loved meeting Grgo and learning about the island and it’s history. We enjoyed driving views, seeing abandon towns, walking through charming little cities, and tasting delicious wines in an authentic family Konoba. The evening was topped off with a seafood dinner at a lovely local restaurant in Yelsa. We would highly recommend this experience to travelers! It was truly unique and something we’ll never forget. Full Day Boat Tour to Blue Cave & Pakleni Islands

We enjoyed this tour and we had a great, friendly captain. The sites we visited were beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. The blue cave was amazing - worth the wait (~20 minutes), and there’s a bar there! All in all, I’d recommend a half day instead of a full day tour. It was a long day by the end.

Ston Oysters Experience & Wine Tasting

This is one of our favorite things we did on our entire trip. The floating oyster bar was so unique and in such a beautiful location. Oysters are great in any setting, but this was truly unforgettable! We had unlimited oysters, muscles, wine, and bread. Our guide even boiled our oyster shells after we told him we wanted to save some and bring them home. We told us how we can preserve them and taught us all about the oyster farm and the local town (Ston). To top off the excursion, the wine tasting with Josip at Milos was incredible. The wines were so complex and delicious, with such a range in flavor and style. We even decided to buy some to have shipped home to the USA. Worth it! Would highly recommend!

It's been years since we used a travel agent. We are confident & regular international travellers, and well used to booking our own flights, hotels, restaurants and so on. But when we decided to visit Croatia, we realised we needed a bit of extra help. The country was unfamiliar, our plans slightly complicated, and we wanted to pack a lot into our two week trip. And having been denied a decent holiday for a couple of years, we wanted this one to be special.

So we chose Kim Kim. And boy was that a good decision! We were blown away by the personalised planning, the thought, the attention to detail. Right from the first tentative thoughts about where to go to the last airport cab, Kim Kim made sure everything was seamless.

The whole process feels really personal, right from the start. They work hard to tailor the trip to your individual needs, and take a lot of trouble going back and forth to get it right. And the web interface and the app that help you to keep track of your plans, not only before but during your trip, are very slick and user friendly. Little details like being able to download ferry tickets directly onto your phone make things very smooth.

But the thing that really made a difference was having one person looking after us throughout. Antonia, our local specialist, was AMAZING! To be honest, I was a bit sceptical at first about how much personal contact we would really get once the plans were finalised and the trip paid for. But Antonia was there by our side (virtually at least) every day of the trip, messaging us each morning to remind us of our plans, sorting out things like restaurants, trips and even laundry. As my wife said, it was like having a butler!

This probably wasn't the cheapest way to travel, but it was the best. We packed so much in, and had so much fun, with so little hassle. We will definitely be going back to Croatia, which may well be our new favourite destination, and we will definitely use Kim Kim again.

Slightly out from the old town, but cabs are plentiful (including Uber), so no problem. Part of a modern resort complex with several hotels, restaurants, bars and pools clustered together. That would not normally be our taste, but it is very tastefully done, and it means you have a range of places to eat, drink and so on. Great facilities. Shame we were only there for a short visit! Oh, and the most AMAZING sea views!

Our first experience of sea kayaking, and a great place to do it. Sea was utterly calm. Kayaking was just the right balance of challenging and do-able (we are a middle-aged couple with a teen, and not very sporty). Loved the little islands, including one recently visited by both Beyonce and Bill Gates, tasting the local snacks and wine, and seeing the deer on the Monastery Island.

Great trip round the islands near Dubrovnik. Various chances to swim, including swimming into two sets of sea caves, which was awesome! Our skipper got us to the Blue Cave before the crowds, and I have to say swimming into it was an amazing experience. A little nervy, but definitely worth it!

Robi was terrific.

He has incredible knowledge of Croatia and really tries to cater to you by creating an itinerary matched to your interests and then executing.

For us, he created a plan for our 10 day trip which matched exactly what we were looking for. It was a lot of fun and we did all the activities that we were interested in such as biking, walks, city tours, wine tasting, yachting on a rented catamaran with a captain, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, great recommended restaurants etc.

Everything was well planned and executed. You really appreciate the depth of his knowledge when he suggests the actual time of day to go and do certain activities and makes specific recommendations based on the time of the year and the expected crowds. We went in August and Robi had specific suggestions of places and times that would avoid the crowds and give us a unique tailored experience. His hotel recommendations were top notch and fitted within our budget too.

Robi is fun to be with and is a walking encyclopedia on Croatia and on activities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for your trip. You can't go wrong.

Our trip to Croatia was really amazing!! Robi (Robert, our local tour guide) was absolutely fantastic. He was constantly in touch with us throughout the trip guiding us, helping us, going out of his way to help us enjoy our vacation. He met us personally at Ston and showed us around the town and treated us with dinner. When I left my shoes in a Ston hotel room ( and went to Dubrovnik) he personally arranged to get those shoes delivered to me! Every step of the way Robi was there. All the local guides that Robi arranged for to give us city tours like Bruno in Zagreb, Pero in Split and Antea in Dubrovnik were fantastic too. The car that we drove was arranged by Robi to be Delivered in our hotel at Zagreb. That was very helpful! Also, at the conclusion of our road trip the car was picked up by the rental agency right in Dubrovnik without any hassle. Robi even drove the car from Ston to Dubrovnik to give us a break and helped haul the luggage through the streets of Old town to our hotel. The airport transfer was also arranged perfectly by Robi. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable vacation, made special by Robi's constant help and guidance.

I wish I could give Kimkim and our travel specialist Nikola more than 5 stars. Everything about my trip to Croatia was terrific - start to finish. I usually plan family trips on my own - researching destinations (Kenya, Tanzania, France, Spain, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, etc), figuring out where to stay, what to do, and where to eat. This time, I traveled alone to Croatia. I needed to plan the trip quickly, and did not want the burden of having to rent a car. So after reading many wonderful reviews online about Kimkim decided to take a chance and book through them. Nikola was very attentive from the start. Once he figured out what kind of trip I wanted, he planned every last detail - private airport transfers, private tours, and beautiful hotels. He even suggested restaurants along the way. I could tweek anything I wanted. I decided to upgrade two of the four hotels he originally suggested, but when I look back on it, I probably didn't need to do that. All of his suggestions were spectacular. I will absolutely use Kimkim to plan future travel, and have already recommended the company to many of my friends.

Antonia organized the trip I took to Croatia with my friend. From the beginning she was cery helpful with every step! When I arrived in Zagreb a driver was waiting for me at the airport and when I arrived at the hotel they already had all information on a serious food allergy I noted in advance. My friend and I had a driver named Ivo who drove us from Zagreb to Zadar and then to Split. He was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas. The hotel we stayed in when in Split (Villa Toni) had the friendliest front desk representative. He ensured we had everything we needed, presented us with a wonderful breakfast each morning with items we mentioned we liked and he was aware of our our itinerary. We had a personal boat for a day when in Split and the skipper named Stipe was very nice and took us all around (Blue Lagoon etc ) for 8 hours! When we arrived in Hvar there was a personal driver who took us around to parts of the island we didn't even know existed. Wonderful seeing all areas of the island. We finished our tour in Dubrovnik and stayed at the wonderful Hotel More. I would definitely recommend Kimkim and Antonia! Antonia went above and beyond helping us tweak our itinerary as needed during our trip.

We had our own boat for a day when in Split and the skipper named Stipe was very nice and took us all around the areas (Blue Lagoon etc ) for 8 hours! We stopped for lunch and went snorkeling over a shipwreck. Would definitely recommend!

This was one of our best trips to Europe. Croatia is a beautiful country and Robi made this trip memorable for us. The guides that we had starting with Bruno, Pero, Antea were top notch each one of them were experts in their field. Robi planned a special boat trip for us and we got glimpses of Dubrovnik from the coast which was the highlight of the trip.
I am very satisfied with this trip and will recommend it to all my friends and families.
Robi treated us like his guests and not clients and he inculcated the love of Croatia within us. This is invaluable to find. The customizations, the impromptu requests all were met smilingly and without any complaints.

From beginning to end, the experience was seem less and our vacation exceptional. Working with Sarah and Ivan at KimKim was trouble free. They were very knowledgeable, communicative, accommodating and responsive.

We took three boat excursions and despite the weather, enjoyed them all. Our skippers (Tony, Ante and Ivo) were all very capable and interesting. We felt safe and secure and found their advice very good on what and how to enjoy our time on the water and port. As the weather was sub-optimal the day we travelled with Ivo, the life stories he shared from time in the service, to search and rescue and olive farming made up for it. His lunch recommendation on Lupod was also the best meal of the trip at Obala! We enjoyed a seaside table, truly inches off the rocks with fresh delightful fare!

We enjoyed our time hiking around the beautiful waterfalls in Plitvice and Krka. All of our transfers were efficient, safe and comfortable and the recommended hotels were quite good. Our favorite was the harbor view suite in the Palace Elizabeth Hotel. We truly enjoyed our time in Hvar including the trek to the Spanish Fortress Overlooking the City and Sea.

Our tour guides in Trogir, Split and Dubrovnik were all very knowledgeable and passionate - and the time with Mislav wine tasting was enjoyable and relaxing in Korcula - a very enjoyable and laid back island with good food. The walled cities of Trogir, Korcula and Dubrovnik were our favorites - each with a different scale and vibe but common in the quaintness of their back alleys and cobblestone streets. The wall walk in Dubrovnik was worthwhile, providing great views of the city and sea.

All and all, a truly exceptional vacation and one of the top 5 in our travels to over 60 countries! We highly recommend Croatia and KimKim!

No way to adequately convey how much our group enjoyed our Croatian adventure thanks in huge part to Sarah’s efforts. We are a group of three families (16 total) who are experienced international travelers and accustom to researching and planning all aspects of trips ourselves. With so many variables in the mix for this one (including Covid), we decided to put together a general itinerary then turn it over to KimKim. That decision turned out to be an excellent one! We were immediately matched with Sarah who is based locally in Zagreb and she organized a terrific highlight tour of Split and Dubrovnik as well as the islands of Korcula and Mljet. Her recommendations for accommodations, dining and activities were spot on and her knowledge, patience, communication and professionalism were superb. She was incredibly responsive before (even with the significant time change) and during our trip … answering questions and addressing concerns big and small. Our vacation to Croatia was wonderful and stress free due to Nikola's preplanning and booking of all of accomodations, restaurants, activities, and transfers. My family and I had a wonderful 8 days in Croatia! Antonia put together a perfect itinerary, with just the right amount of activity and leisure time. Her communication was clear, informative, and punctual. In addition, her knowledge of the different areas and who to have guide us was exceptional. We would not have had the vacation we had if it were not for Ivana in Dubrovnik, specifically with the Game of Thrones walking tour; Dominik and Dea of Nautica Adventure Tours in Hvar, specifically for giving us a uniquely unforgettable experience; Ivana in Zadar and Dugi otok, specifically for her communication and organization to make our family heritage day as special as possible; and Josipa in Zagreb, specifically for her liveliness and enthusiasm to show off her beautiful city, rich with culture. Everything ran smoothly, my family and I felt taken care of, and we certainly had the highly anticipated trip of a lifetime!

Sarah made this dream trip a reality. From start to finish it was incredible! From planning to execution it was flawless. She thought of every detail, arranged everything so we could just show up and enjoy! Having drivers and private tours took all of the travel stress out of the equation and became people we will keep in touch with for many years to come. Baldo is one that is now like family to us and Saas in Mostrar will also be a friend for years to come. We were supposed to go to Montenegro but the boarders were backed up so Baldo created an alternate plan for us in Bosnia. We agreed to pivot and it turned out to be one of our most treasured days. Trust the drivers/guides. They will give you an incredible experience no matter what! We loved Split, Hvar and Mostrar the most. Dubrovnik is very crowded, it’s nice to visit the old town for a day but there are so many other places with less crowds and more to do. I cannot be more grateful I came across KimKim and Sarah. I wish she planned outside of Croatia!!!

This is a modern hotel. It’s very clean and has great views. That said, if you have a great view it means you face a busy(noisy) street. The air was cooler in the hallways than in our room which wasn’t great because we were there in mid august. The consierge is very helpful with reservations and taxis. The breakfast buffet is large. Overall it was nice to have two separate sleeping areas in one room (picture adjoining rooms minus a door.) I just didn’t like the noise or the lack of cool air and it wasn’t very close to old town, maybe 20 minute walk.

Green & Blue Caves of Vis Island

The blue cave was closed so Yoshko suggested the green cave. It was an hour wait to take the tour boat in, he offered for us to swim in. We were THE ONLY ONES in there! It was a really cool experience, but i would never pay/wait to see it. It is a tourist trap so beware. If you take a boat, it’s about 5 minutes in the cave. There are so many other beautiful places to see on Vis. Yoshko took us to many places were there were only 4 or so other people and to a wonderful restaurant belonging to 2 fishermen. It was an incredible day and he was a fantastic guide!

It was just amazing from start to finnish. The swim stops, the islands we visited, the tours, wine tasting, Oyster tasting ..... the list goes on and on ....... an unforgettable trip. WOW! Dubrovnik is like no other place I have ever been.... it is incredible..... We were on the MS Markan and the crew were just amazing from start to finish!!!! I will be booking for me and my kids for next year for sure!!!!

A memorable trip where Robi clearly exceeded in working on all details to grant the best experience and combining a bycicle trip with other outdoor opportunities to complement with beaches, swimming, snorkeling, paddeling. All the dinners suggested were outstanding, both with lovely local food and also beautiful views and location.
We prepared the trip in advance and Robi was also extremely responsive proving suggestions and alternatives while at the same time taking on board the multiple requests and suggestions.
During the trip Robi was always providing support and accommodating everybody’s request.
We have done other bicycle holidays in other countries, but this one was beyond special, and Robi had a significant responsibility on its success.

Robbie and his team are exceptional. These days, there are not many companies that put their heart and soul in their clients' wellbeing, .... well, Robbie and his team are the exception. They not only appreciate and please, but always think one or two steps ahead. When our group of 19 (ages ranking from 8 to 53!) arrived to Croatia, together with a heart-warming welcome speech, our bikes and equipment were already prepared according to heights, with our nametag on, water bottles nicely cooled and marked with names. Biking routes were perfectly selected - stunning views, no crowd, difficulty not too strenuous but challenging enough... Robbie's vans were always near us, looking after our security and the need to refill our bottles with fresh water. Arriving to any beach, suprise-suprise, snorkelling equipment already prepared for every kid.. During the 1 week, our overnight stays were perfectly organized in nice hotels, and our dinners were carefully selected and prepared in nice, traditional restaurants/ terraces. As for communication, besides absolutely fluent English spoken, Robbie and his team were also carefully watching the balance of "humanly close, but not invading". We will repeat for sure.

Not only was Sarah kind, knowledgeable and always quick-to-respond...but she put up and dealt with a group of 16 people with every possible Croatian vision, preference and request imaginable! (Thank you for that unexpected luggage transfer!)

It was so nice to be picked up and transferred to/from airports, lovely hotels and our fun excursions...highlights were the fabulous boat rides between the Croatian Islands (Leo was great!) and a beautiful bike ride through the Mljet National Park.

Sarah handled last minute changes with grace, and put together a wonderful and unforgettable trip for everyone.

We will definitely keep her in mind for our next trip...and will let others know how wonderful she is, as well.

Antonia created an itinerary that fulfilled our every need and even planned for experiences we didn't know we needed! Every transfer we had was greeted with a pleasant driver. Everyone was on time and helpful with information. We flew into Dubrovnik from NJ and had a day to relax at the beautiful outdoor pool and lounges at a fantastic hotel picked by Antonia. Hotel More. Of course we did the Game of Thrones tour in old town and Antonia chose a great guide for us that could balance the 3 different age groups and the heat wave. After 2 days and great food and people we were off to Hvar, my favorite stop! Again Antonia chose a lovely hotel, Adriana, that was perfect! In Hvar Antonia set up a tour that brought us over the mountains to the other side of the island with a great tour and dinner included. We saw a few smaller towns and loved every minute. The next day she booked us on a speed boat to visit the blue and green caves and go for swims in a few different alcove beaches. Spending a day on the water with Dominick's tour company (Antonia wins again) felt like I was living the life of the rich and famous! He brought us to an amazing restaurant on a small island (also all part of our package) and we had an amazing meal. Next stop was traveling to a small town and finding my family heritage in Dragova, on Dugi Otok. Antonia found the perfect guide who did lots of research before we went. She was history buff and proved that when she was also our walking tour guide in Zadar. She knew when to give us private time to spread my grandmother's ashes and have our remembrance and she was lots of fun too. Our last stop in Zagreb was met with another great walking tour guide and lots of recommendations for our last 24 hours! It was the vacation of a lifetime and I will be happy to plan with Kim Kim for our next EU trip to Italy!!

We had an amazing time in Croatia! In a bit less than a week we managed to fit in Dubrovnik, Kocula, and Split without feeling like we were rushing. We also had a walking tour, scuba diving, snorkeling, a bike tour (with wine!), and white water rafting. I have to mention Alberto, our walking tour guide in Dubrovnik, he was especially excellent, extremely knowledgeable, and catered the tour to us. I also have to mention Antonio who took us snorkeling in Korcula, he was very pleasant and took us to some amazing sports.
