Mark was great on the first 2 days of private tour.

The first driver on pick up was late but our flight was also late so maybe not his fault. Also not too personable but also maybe not his fault due to flight being late so maybe he's in hurry.

The cooking class was great.

Also the train stop and transfer was a bit tight for novice train riders like us. 10 minute window was stressful but we made it.

Rest of transfers and tours were great. Everything very smooth.

Our family decided to take a trip together: my husband and myself, 2 sons and significant others. We spun our wheels trying to make decisions about where to go, where to stay and what to do and who would drive. Fortunately we ended up on kimkim.com and within 24 hours had a full itinerary planned. We went back and forth a few times with Audrey until we had a plan that covered all our wishes. She helped us out a few times during the trip as well with some minor things. Rather than rent a car, we hired drivers for travel between cities and for private tours. That was a great decision that saved us fights, parking, navigation, and as a bonus included a lot of local knowledge. We stayed in 5 hotels (****) in Nice, Cannes, Marseille, Arles and Avignon. Highlights of the trip included: Monaco & Eze, Roussillioin's Ochre hills which we hiked, the market in Arles on Saturday morning (the most authentic market we visited), St Paul de Vence, Grasses (interesting tour of the perfume factory and town), our boat cruise with Captain Renauld in Nice, olive oil factory & tasting at l'Angandau in Le Beau de Provence and swimming in the gorgeous waters in Cannes and Nice. All our drivers were great: Cathy, Arnaud, Thierry, Peggy. We kept in touch via WhatsApp when they would drop us off so we could do our thing and then they'd circle back to pick us up. Parking was challenging in most cities so we were very happy to not have to deal with that. I have since recommended kimkim to several friends. It saved us hours of work and certainly some arguments since the planning was done by the local pros! Will definitely use them again.

Great location in Avignon. It was recently renovated so nice and clean inside and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room doesn't have a fridge but they provided one to us upon request. A nice breakfast was included with very good staff, and there was an additional modern lounge nearby where we could do some work. Wifi was good. The only challenge is there are some stairs that you have to get your luggage up. I'm sure the staff would help if required.

Our flight to Nice was cancelled so this trip was delayed one day, but they were able to accommodate us with no problem. Captain Renauld was very fun, experienced, and knowledgeable about the area. We felt very confident with him. He took us to a cove where we were able to snorkel for a short time. The water was very fresh and he enticed some fish to us, with some food. Champagne was served. One of our group gets motion sick and he was considerate and helpful. It was a calm cruise for most of the time until he gave us a bit of a thrill ride with lots of splashing and soaking which added to our adventure. Highly recommended. A nice way to kick off your vacation upon arrival.

This was the first time I used a company such as KimKim to help plan our holiday. - it will not be our last!! I had a family member use another agency for a trip to France (same region I travelled to) who suggested I look into it - I contacted her recommended agency and after a few correspondence and Zoom calls - I felt more confused and unheard.
I reached out to KimKim just so see what the experience was like... I was connected with Josee, who after a couple of correspondence, sent me suggestions and recommendations tailored exactly to what I shared with her.
Josee arrived private car service between hotels and train stations - this is a must! Her hotel suggestions were fantastic.
Highlights were our Segway tour in Nice, such a fun way to explore.
In Avignon, we lucked out with no one else on our tour for the morning - Josee had us with the company, A La Francaise Provence, the Highlights of Provence: Les Baux & Chateuxneuf du Pape tours. - the best day. In the quarry - Carrieres des Lumieres - unforgettable!!

In Paris, at Josee's recommendation we had a guided wine and cheese tasting workshop - at La Ferme du Faubourg - on our own, we would never have booked this - it was one of the best things we have done!!!
While in France... I already started plotting my return trip next year with the help of Josee and KimKim.
A service highlight of KimKim was - initially I had shared a budget that I wanted to fall into - along the way.. my wishes got more and more grand.. and Josee always insured that we stayed within... delicately she kept on budget!

Very good location - courtyard is beautiful. Lovely to have breakfast in! Sadly the room was a little bit of a let down. Granted, size wise for Europe it was a good size! Bathroom was also very sizable. But the room itself was not comfortable. The location is very good - close to Old Town, train station and the waterfront! All walkable within 10 mins.

This was not our favorite - we changed the private tour to be Eze and Menton - this was prearranged with KimKim and the travel company. When we were driving to Eze the driver was talking about a perfume tour that EVERYBODY loves... so he dropped us off there - with many other large coach buses. He said he would wait for us and then we would go to Eze. We decided not to do the tour and when to carry on to find the driver. We looked for over 20 mins for him. When we located him - we started on our trek to Eze. With the tour we had tickets for the gardens at the top. - so our tour guide walked us directly up there - it was a step trek.... we walked around the gardens (while he waited for us) we then walked straight down. - we did not see Eze.. it was a mission to the top then to the bottom. When we arrived in Menton - the driver parked close to the old town area and said we had 10-12 mins... once my husband and I headed into the old town - we decided that we wanted to stay - and had the driver leave us there. We spent the afternoon strolling around and took the train home.

A full day Tour in the Alpilles : Les Baux & Châteauneuf du Pape

My favorite day of the trip!!! Loved everything about it! Les Baux and Carrieres des Lumieres - unforgettable! In the afternoon we had the wine tour of Chateauneuf du Pape - we visited two wineries, both delicious wines.. but educational. The second winery was were we had a little wine class.. learnt so much!!

Audrey has changed the way I will plan trips for every. Audrey organized a trips for my extended family of 6. Each with different expectation, ages, etc. Miraculously within a few days working with us, she created an itinerary that pleased everyone! I couldn't even do that. Audrey saved us so much time and so many discussions. Audrey was patient and very knowledgeable about the area. She made us discover some of her secret destinations that only the locals would know. Once we confirmed the itinerary, Audrey made all the bookings and reservations. On top of that Audrey continued to inform us of the next event, transportation, etc during the trip. She handled changes, issues, etc as well.

I just cannot say enough good things about Audrey and KimKim.

Sarah was a fantastic planner as well as a support system for the trip. I have a "late" family. We are always running a bit behind as we are "stop and smell the roses" kinda of people. Sarah helped us make our appointments and keep all the vendors informed. That plus Jane helping us get new tickets for the train at the very last minute, were invaluable.

The trip was epic. We will DEFINITELY be using Kim Kim again.

Our trip in France was part of a larger trip throughout Europe. That said, our time in France, thanks to KimKim and our guide Manon was far beyond anything we could have expected. Manon got to understand what we were looking for in a trip and gave us that exact thing at the right pace for us to all have a wonderful time. We enjoyed the hotel and boat ride in Marseille. It was nice for everything to be walking distance. We also loved staying in Moustiers St Marie and the activities near there. Le Jas du Colombier was perfect to walk to town and hang out by the pool. The canyineering with Armand from the Verdoniers was epic. Our kids loved that so much. The kayaking with Christophe of Aquattitude was also a favorite. The horseback riding was a bit of a long and hot day for beginners. Same with biking, it was really hot and a bit challenging for the kids. We appreciated seeing the region from all these vantage points. It is really important for you to share any necessary info to be prepared ahead of time, since we are not in direct contact with the guide.

We had a huge house to ourselves. Very well equipped to cook and wash clothes. We loved the salt water pool at the end of a long hot day. The views are amazing and we enjoyed eating meals outside. It is really more of a house rental, not a hotel. This should be more clear for setting expectations.

Everything was great. We loved the tours we went on, all the people who were the guides were so personable and knowledgeable! We did not love one of our hotels and let Audrey know and she was able to find us another much better accommodation. Audrey was very responsive when we had questions. We were disappointed one day when their was a National protest and we did get to see Versailles or use our tickets up to the Eiffel Tour. We were able to book a few other things however.

Valentine and Mathilde were both great.

We had a few issues pop up and they handled them immediately. Trip was amazing and very thankful we had someone to help with any issue that popped up.

My daughter and I just returned from an exceptional Tur du Mont Blanc hiking trip. We arranged the trip 4 months in advance, and even at that point most companies we contacted told us it was too late for this season and that we should work on going the next year. The local agent Julien who we worked with was confident from the start that he would be able to arrange our trip and he was able to find a route and hotels that worked with our time constraints. I highly recommend Kimkim and Julien and will definitely contact Kimkim again for any future trips.

Lise did a good job in putting together a memorable trip to France and we would use her services again. The reason for a 4 instead f a 5 was her lack of timely responsiveness. The tours, drivers, and guides she used were great. There were only 2 problem with these. One driver had the wrong time but was able to get someone else to fill in so it we were only delayed. As we needed to get to the airport the next day, We asked Lise to confirm the driver to the airport to make sure we wouldn't have any problems and then they didn't show up at all. s We were forced to call a taxi which Lise reimbursed. Other than that, all went splendidly.

After a few days of getting lost in all the beautiful pictures of different hotels, we decided it might be best to look for a travel agent. We first considered using Kim Kim less than two weeks before our trip, and we already had an idea of what we wanted to do, so we were surprised when we were advised against it. Bastien, the travel agent, took the time to explain why our plan might be improved (the sheer amount of travel time alone was enough for us) by a few places we hadn't previously considered. We took his advice, tweaked the itinerary, talked it through him, and decided this was the way to go! He had a surprisingly quick turnaround and even mentioned an item that might be easier to get on our own rather than through him, which I appreciated since it didn't feel like he was trying to upsell anything. We asked for nicer/posher accommodations (and he delivered).

Once we were there, Mathilde took over as our primary contact and took the time to check in. She was readily available for our few questions and checked on us to ensure everything went smoothly.

The tours were fabulous, and the ONLY thing that made this less than perfect was one tour that offered lunch and champagne tasting. The champagne-tasting part was great, but there was no lunch (pairings only, and the tour guide indicated that she had already informed the agencies). Needless to say, after the hours-long tour, we were starving.

Everything else was spectacular. Highly recommend!

We gave a bit of an unusual order to Joel, asking him to find and plan a 4 days advanced intensive cooking class in Lyon with some ability to have a bit of English if possible from the teacher. as we are a true Canadian couple - half French and half English ! We also booked a boutique hotel in the Presqu'ile and a quick tour of the city on the first day to get oriented. .

Joel was straightforward that was not a usual request, but he has delivered on our request.

We had a fantastic week with 2 chefs (Alice and Basil) that went through Pastries, French classics, desserts and entremets. We also did a day of Lyonnaise cuisine assorted with small plates, some meatless dishes, petits fours, amuses bouches. Extremely fast paced and we went through about 50 total dishes in 4 days - it was difficult, a lot of work but exactly what we had asked and we could not be more happy with this week.

Jean-Alexandre did a good job at the lay of the land for the tour, good recommendations for restaurants and what not to do ! The hotel was well located, boutique with a good bistronomique restaurant, a good breakfast and quiet.

so all in all, it was the first time we worked with Joel and he really came through for this trip and we would not hesitate to have another trip with him and recommend to our close circle.

Excellent class with Alice and Basil. This was advanced, intensive and private 4 day class. We did over 50 recipes over the 4 days declined in several dishes in several meal formats. It is not for beginners and some level of French understanding is a must. If you want to dig deep into French cooking, this is a very good option. Everything was well organized, on time and extremely busy (what we wanted). Thanks for the great week.

Amandine & team were great at building an itinerary that was packed, but at a manageable pace. A private guide at the Louvre with David was a must as no time was wasted lost in the museum. It was crazy busy during our visit, so having him there to whisk us to the main attractions and to our personal interests made it all the better. Lucey in the Loire Valley and Yann guiding us in Cote Rotie and Beujolais wine tours offered the perfect mix of information and freedom to make day trips relaxing. The dinner cruise on the Seine in Paris was luxurious. Bastien encouraged us not to skimp on that and I’m glad for it. We got the most inclusive package for the dinner and it was well worth it. Alban in the Alps took the cake for the trip. He led us on a hike overlooking a glacier and offered up a gourmet picnic which included a mix of fruits and vegetables from his own garden. The whole experience at Aguille du Midi far exceeded expectations. All the hotels were clean with friendly and helpful staff in each city visited. We only pivoted once veering off itinerary by taking a “down day” to lounge on the beach in Nice. That turned out to be one of our favorite days. Visiting Cannes was a bust. Red carpet was under plywood. Antibes was just ok. Same for Grasse and Valbonne. St Paul de Vence and Goirdon were gorgeous though as was the Bellet wine tasting. If I were to change anything it would’ve been to do St Paul de Vence/Goirdon/Bellet in one day and have a second beach day in Nice. 4 days in Paris, 4 days in Lyon, 2 in Chamonix and 4 in Nice. I think it was the right number of days. All in all a fantastic trip.

Simon and his team provided thorough itineraries however there is no follow up contact from them to check on us, the travelers. With minimal of 4 arrangements with local guides during our 28 day trip, we were very much on our own most of the time. It would be more informative for us to have a guide in a city. We did not expect to have ones in small town or village stays. With the amount of research that we did ourselves, at times we thought that we could have done the trip without having to go with KimKim.

Many thanks to Kimkim and Simon for helping us to plan our two-week tour of France to celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday. The full itinerary brought in all the highlights we wanted to view and experience in a thoughtful well laid out order. The top highlight was Mont-Saint-Michel, a true wonder (although it was difficult to choose). The trip started in Paris, we then traveled to Bayeaux, in Normandy, then to the Loire Valley for Chateau tours before traveling to Avignon to experience Provance with the Roman ruins and wonderful wine. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

We loved all aspects of our trip. We fell in love with France- South of France in particular. All our guides were really good. Nichola who did the Luberon villages was exceptional and the older gentleman who did the Saint Remy was our least favorite. LaDemoiselle was exceptional. We loved it. We also loved Le9Opera Hotel. The location of both and the comforts were exceptional. We didnt like the one in Eze- but it was very close to the medieval village and that helped very much.
All our car transport people were reaaly good except the one who picked us from the paris train station in the middle of the night. We had to walk all the way over to the exit close to midnight. Overall an excellent trip.

The stay was amazing. Our hosts were so gracious in providing home cooked fresh breakfast every morning. Fresh jams, breads and fresh orange juice. Very nice ambience. This was the most amazing trip for us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Luberon villages and knew every bit of that area and took us to all the lovely spots and took amazing pictures for us. Gordes was our favorite. We took pictures of the poppy fields and lavendar fields. He even gave us tips on photography.

As we planned our trip, Clement was helpful and enthusiastic and had very good recommendations for day tours with A la Francaise!, which were excellent. Clement worked hard to meet all our needs and make necessary changes throughout the process. He was accommodating and professional. However, those "people behind the scenes," his colleagues who were in charge of making transportation arrangements or hotel bookings, did not always get it right. We had issues with almost every pickup/drop-off and the emergency numbers we had, especially on the weekend, got us no response from anyone. Luckily, when in Paris, Tony's Car and Limo Service, rose to the occasion and helped us out.

It seems there were some major communication issues within the company and that caused some challenges for us. The day tours Clement arranged were all excellent and our guides were so friendly and knowledgeable.

Kimkim needs to pay careful attention to details, review each itinerary with a fine tooth comb and listen to customer requests. In some instances, two or three requests were made to fix something and it was not addressed. Even while on our trip, we experienced several stressful situations due to lack of coordination on Kimkim's part, causing us to "work" on our own to solve several problems. Overall, our trip to France was amazing, but we will not be using Kimkim for future travels.

This full day tour is great on paper, however, we felt very rushed and did not feel we fully enjoyed each part of the experience. There was a great deal of traffic as we left town, so, perhaps, an earlier departure time might help. The oyster/shrimp tasting was delicious, but we, again, felt hurried to be on our way. Lunch was at the office instead of an outdoor area as we were short on time. The wineries were great, but the stop along the estuary, while lovely, seemed a bit unnecessary. Less "activities" could have made for a more relaxed day where we could fully enjoy and appreciate these special places.

Suzanna was lovely, friendly and enthusiastic. However, she was easily distracted, causing her, at times, to share only a limited amount of information. She had no microphone so everyone could hear her, and had some difficulty managing the GPS causing us to get a little lost.

Tony's Limo Company was helpful and professional. Michael was professional and helpful in getting us to the hotel at the airport on our last day, June 5th. However, on May 31st, the driver was late to get us to the train station due to some communication issues and we had on 8 minutes to get to our train with our luggage. Definitely stressful. Tony was great about communication with us and ensured that we had no problem on our return to Paris before our departures. We were very grateful for his assistance!!!
