This hotel had the best views and was so accommodating! We loved it!

Very clean, centrally located, safe. Near all things you might want in Athens. The Placa, restaurants, groceries, Acropolis, shopping, kitchen well equipment. Very nice experience!

Great view of the sea. Nice and friendly staff. Quiet location 10 minutes ride into Fira. Beautiful breakfast and restaurant services. Room was clean and well appointed.

Wow, love this apartment! Direct view of the Acropolis out the beautiful living room windows. Clean, newly and beautifully remodeled. Owner/manager was available anytime. Bedding and bed was great. Kitchen well appointed. Location wonderful, in the heart of the Plaka district.

Great location, right next to the windmills. Old hotel that’s been renovated. It was very luxurious yet not stuffy. Beautiful pool area with views of the sea.

Did NOT like this ‘Villa.’ The word villa is an overstatement. Odd layout of the house for bedrooms. Leaking living room roof and bathroom floor. The owner was defensive over issues when we had to call him to fix the electricity that went out in the living room (probably due to water in the ceiling). He suggested we overloaded the system. Really????? We were out the entire day!!! It was not very clean in the cabinets and too much evidence of someone living there. Yuck. The oven was not set up so no way to use it. No toaster… when we asked about it 2 days later, the comment back was “you can’t expect me to make sure everything is working.” Really??? Beds were not comfortable, bedding in downstairs bedroom didn’t fit, exposing the mattress, yuck. I slept on the blanket. Downstairs tub was so high it was dangerous to get in/out. Towel bar was rehung at about 6’, impossible to reach. The holes were remaining from being moved up. The best thing about the property was the pool and view. That’s it!

Just okay. Adequate. Good location to walk to the square and close to the port.

LOVED this cute boutique 9 room hotel. Staff was GREAT, location was GREAT, the rooms were all unique in a historic 16th century building. Beautifully done!

Be prepared to be among 1000 people touring at the same time. It was like Disneyland. BUT, it was the amazing Acropolis! The tour guide was professional and knowledgeable.

Well, we realized 1/2 way into the tour that it was NOT a Jewish tour but a Classic Tour. They did their best to make up for it and added extra time. We let the Travel 12 know….handled very well. Next day on the way to Pella, the driver took us to an amazing old Synagogue to make up for the goof.

Loved this tour with our local guide. We had an authentic Naxos meal at a family restaurant in her village. Food was lovely.

One of my favorite experiences of the 30 days through Greece. Walking through 4 villages was a special experience. I highly recommend doing this! It’s not difficult, but it is 4 hours (or a bit more).

It was quite a drive, but beautiful countryside. Both museums were done very well and worthwhile. We stopped for lunch in Pella at a local family restaurant. It was typical Greek dishes in sharing style. It was lovely.

Only 6 of us in the group tour (3 were us). We went for Turkish style coffee, olive oil tasting + cheese, a quick souvlaki at her favorite place, and then lunch. Lunch was sharing traditional Greek dishes. The guide was also a therapist who was on a cleansing fast. So, she did not share any of our food. 🙃 She was very nice and included the fish and meat markets, and a spice store as we were walking around. All in all, good tour.

Our google map link for this restaurant was facing the water with a beautiful outdoor setting. The owner (assuming) rudely told us we need to go to the ‘other one’ and pointed in the direction to go. Apparently they are owned by the same family. The ‘other one’ was on a back street so we ate inside (nothing special). The food was fresh and good but we didn’t appreciate how we were handled.

We all enjoyed the visit to Delphi. It was in a beautiful location. Even though there were lots of tourists, there was plenty of room to explore and not feel crowded.

Our guide was great. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about the history of the island. We walked through iconic areas for the best photo opportunities. We were dropped at the winery while he waited outside. Wine tasting was at Artemis Karamolegos. There were 3 tastings and we talked them into 2 more! Very generous (we bought a bottle!). We got little nibbles for 2, even though they knew there were 3 of us. We had to ask for more food! They were very nice about it.

We loved this family farm. They were so passionate and eager to teach us about olive oil and olives. It was great experience.

This place was HUGE! There were lots of groups, and we were thrown into one with headsets to listen to the guide. The audio wasn’t working well and there was so much overlap between groups and guides walking around, that the frequencies kept getting mixed up. I abandoned my set and just tried to listen. I would have preferred to walk around, self guided as there were plenty of placards around.

Excellent and friendly staff and possibly the best hotel view in the world. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This was a nice hotel for staying in the city close to restaurants and shops. Room was small but it worked since we weren’t in our rooms very much.

This was a full day of exploring Crete. We enjoyed everything included especially since we were only there one day.

Perfect hotel for a visit to Heraklion, very walkable to all the food sites and food in the city.

This is the second time I have hiked the gorge and It is always an amazing and breathtaking experience. Having the help of getting out there and back through this trip was a huge help.

The Chania wine tour was a must! We had a lot of fun with our guide and the small group tasting local olive oil and wine!

Our guide was amazing and was a wealth of information about Crete during the Bronze age! Knossos and the museum are a must-see in Heraklion.

Perfect way to end your trip to Heraklion with an amazing day cruise to Dia! The water was incredible and the staff was friendly and amazing. Overall very fun and relaxing trip.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Our guide Elsa was fun, knowledgeable, and did a great job. The wines were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the second winery, in an art museum, and LOVED our guide there. The food at the restaurant was fantastic (though a sunset view would have been better, in this case it didnt matter because it was overcast!) We had a blast.

We enjoyed this tour very much and our guide, Vickie, was extremely knowledgeable. This is a very specific type of tour- it's a mythology tour, limited to the acropolis, Olympian Zeus temple and the Agora. For us we would have preferred perhaps 2.5 hours of the mythology behind these sites and then a walking tour of some Athens neighborhoods as we didn't know the city at all.

I don't know what "feel like a local" is but I assume this is our Organic Farm tour? IF so, this was fantastic!! The farm is absolutely stunning and impressive. Alkis, the farmer, was so much fun to talk to and unbelievably knowledgeable and impressive in what he does. The porch on which we had lunch was stunning, the views spectacular, the and food to die for! Could not have been better!!

We didn't do the sunset tour. Based on our preference, we did a daytime tour, seeing the part of the island we didn't see on the first day. We had lunch at a fishing village and had a great time.

Very fun. Alex was a great guide and we enjoyed the cooking class. The next day we rented a car to see some of the towns we didn't visit on the tour, and agreed that the towns we saw on the tour were better.

The cooking class and winery were great. The lunch was very good.

Oh my, so beautiful, we looked onto the Gate of Apollo from our room. Just a block from the old city, perfect spot to explore Chora. Lovely breakfast.

This hotel is super clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I loved the view from our balcony of the city. The rooftop bar was amazing for a great view of the Parthenon at night. They also were so accommodating when my mom accidentally left her passport in our room.

This hotel is so lovely. It is clean. It has charm. It's close to the center of town. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The staff are so helpful and willing to give suggestions or help make a reservation. The breakfast is delicious and has so many options. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. There is a lot of space for parking close by.

This hotel was amazing. Similar to many beachfront resorts in the best ways. Our room had a fabulous view of the sea. This hotel is located just on the edge of the center of town which makes it quiet and pleasant but also easy to navigate from. You get a discount on the chairs with umbrellas as a guest. They have complimentary beach towels for you. They clean your room every day so no need to worry about sand everywhere. This room was not super spacious but it didn't need to be as we were out exploring the island at all times.

Very close to the port and very convenient for a one-night stay before our flight in the morning. The breakfast here was not as great or impressive. The staff were very direct and kind but not warm.

Michael was amazing! Can't recommend him highly enough. Having grown up in Athens and having a master's in history made him an amazing tour guide. He answered all of our questions and some. He took photos of us. He was extremely friendly and would highly recommend a tour with him. It was also easy to find our meeting point.

Costas is amazing! It was so great to learn about Greek food from such a masterchef. Both he and his wife were so friendly. I loved the wine tastings with dinner. I love talking to them about Greek food and history. I had a really lovely time. It's also so impressive that he cooked nearly all the food in front of us. Everything was so delicious.

Very fun adventure! This was a lovely excursion. It was fun too swim to lounge to eat the snacks food and wine that they brought. To chat with other travelers.

We really enjoyed getting to know Katarina and her mom. It was such a treat to be learning in their home which felt intimate. The food was amazing obviously. It was great learning about their lives and customs around food.

Location, Location, Location of a fantastic hotel. The hotel is directly across from the Lighthouse. We were in the superior suite which means our terrace overlooked the entire port and a sunrise view. The patio out our door has a beautiful sunset view. Irene was fantastic taking care of everything. I recommend the bed and breakfast options with the Greek breakfast.

Noble Suites was a fantastic place to start our trip. Our suite had a big picture window with a view of the lit-up Acropolis, which was an incredible sight to see upon arrival.

The view from Orizontes View Hotel was stunning. The hotel itself was nice, but the location and view were the main highlights.

Amymone Suites had a great location in downtown Nafplio, but the hotel itself was not particularly special. It was a little small, but that is to be expected in a downtown location. Overall, it was a good option given the location.

The guided tour of the Acropolis and the food and drink walk around Athens were fantastic. The tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable, quickly adapting to our interests and preferences. It was great having a private tour, as it allowed us to personalize the experience and have more in-depth conversations.

We expected a lunch and olive oil tasting at a farm, but it turned out to be at a campsite. We only got to taste one olive oil, and there wasn't much of a tour or explanation of the production process. On the bright side, the olive oil we tasted was good enough that we bought some to take home.

The wine tasting and lunch at the winery in Nemea were excellent. The lunch was a delicious three-course meal, and the wine tasting was informative and enjoyable.

The sunset catamaran cruise was amazing. The catamaran, crew, and other guests were all great. The food and drinks were excellent, and they even had a barbecue on the boat, serving fresh fish. The weather was perfect, and it was an overall fantastic experience.

Room was tiny and basic. Wrestling lugage up and down steep stairs not easy.

Guide was great and the muesem, archealogical site and lunch were all great.

This was our only "fail" as the ride was rescheduled and we were not aware. The rescheduled ride did not work so another time was agreed upon but road construiction shortened if from 3 hours to a little over an hour and a half. We killed the rest of the time hanging in a beach bar which was pleasant but not what we signed up for.

Our guide was very interesting and we learned a lot about Greek Culture.

Everyone was so nice and engaging. We ha a great time.

This was an absolute must if visiting Santorini. Tasos our tour guide was incredible in answering not only questions about the food, but local history, geology and mythology. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Great location to explore Athens on foot. Welcoming staff, clean rooms, perfect for our arrival in Greece. Would stay there again!

Great location. Views on upper floors are best. Staff was very friendly, helpful with finding parking which could be a problem (especially if you return to your hotel later in the evening from a drive). Hotel was a bit older, but very clean and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to ruins. Would stay here again.

Loved this hotel!!!!! Beautiful views, modern, clean, nice lobby and breakfast area. Loved the rustic stone. Location was easy walking distance to town, restaurants, and start of hikes. Parking can be problematic but staff helped us locate parking when we were out of options.

Wow! When we arrived, there was no one else booked at the hotel so we got upgraded to the Chalet. We had direct contact with the staff who were SO friendly, giving us tips on where to go explore, must-see's, where to eat, etc. They fed us such a plentiful breakfast that we asked them to wrap some of it up for us to snack later. This turned out to be a good decision as we were so early in the season that restaurants had closed early in town and this gave us food to eat that night. The chalet was such a welcome luxury at this point in our trip! We had our own parking spot too! We LOVED the Zagori Suites!

The Arcadion Hotel Room provided amazing views, easy walking to everything in town (restaurants, shops, historic monuments, and to fortresses). Bring a map or GPS to find your way around town as it is easy to get lost. The staff was very professional, helpful when assistance was requested, and watched our luggage dutifully for us on our last day and upon arrival (before check in was permitted). The internet signal was spotty but served our purposes.

We stayed at Avra Hotel Rafina on our last night before departing Athens. It was conveniently located (short drive back to airport), provided a free shuttle (drivers were quite helpful with luggage), and a nice view of the water/harbor. There were some authentic restaurants nearby for a late dinner, and was a safe place to go for a walk, even though we arrived quite late.

We had to change our route due to weather that day but the guide came ready with a driver to start us at a different point, away from the dark clouds. We ended up hiking down to the olive groves and learned much about the area while doing so. We loved our guide from Trekking Hellas!

Such a great tour and SO much food! We just couldn't eat it all.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to relate the history of greek mythology to today's world. She did not accompany us to the top but did let us know what we would find and prepared us for this. She was late arriving to meet us and seemed rushed to take us through our tour. Nonetheless, we appreciated her insight into what we were seeing.

Wow! This is an amazing destination that leaves me speechless! A Must-See in Greece for sure!

We had an experienced moutaineering guide who took us on a guided hike, shared his knowledge with us, and made the experience special.

The river was running at Class 1-2 rating, so it was an easy rafting experience. It was definitely a beautiful way to experience the gorge and the Voidomatis River without too much exertion. We had been hiking quite a bit, so this was a nice change of pace. Our guide and driver were fantastic and took plenty of pictures along the way for us.

We requested this activity be less food oriented, and more history oriented. They accommodated our interests and it turned out to be a great tour!

Our favourite experience! Manos our guide was great! Such a brilliant way to see the countryside and delve into Greek culture with traditional Tavern meal, olive tasting and we visited a traditional cheese making farm.

The best weather helped make this trip magical.
