My wife and I were recommended to Kimkim by friends of ours who had used your services a few times. Chris, our agent, was very easy to work with. He laid out an entire itinerary for our trip to Greece based our on desires. It was the best vacation we have ever taken. The hotels we stayed in were perfect in terms of location and amenities.

Wow, this trip was an absolute dream full of fun and adventure. I am so thankful for KimKim/Travel 12 for doing the hard work and allowing me to sit back and relax. Although some excursions were not as expected all were very enjoyable with knowledgeable guides and fantastic scenery. I started my trip in Athens and was thankful for Travel 12's placement of lodging right in the city center as I was a bit overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the city. I experienced a mythical and historical tour of the Acropolis and some other ancient remains and was able to sample the local fare. I have several food restrictions and Travel 12 was excellent at providing some recommendations throughout my trip. During my time in Athens I even met and had dinner and wine with my local specialist (shout out to wonderful IRENE LAPPA). After Athens I moved onto spectacular Naxos for some fun in the sand, waves, and mountain towns. It was amazing. Enough said. Crete was next on my list and I highly, highly, highly recommend visiting the Palace of Knossos, hiking the Samaria Gorge (if that is your jam) using the ELAFONISSOS TRAVEL company, kayaking from Stravos beach with CONTACT CRETE, and visiting Balos and Falassarna beaches using CHANIA AVENTURES. Travel 12 helped to establish my itinerary including lodging, transportation, and excursions based on my preferences. While in Greece they also provided me with a WhatsApp number to contact for assistance. This was very beneficial to me.

Samaria Gorge Guided Hiking (Group Tour)

This was such an amazing hike. The views alone made the next-day soreness well worth the effort. I am an experienced hiker so can certainly say that this trek is very doable, but you would be best served with the proper shoes and perhaps some experience and stamina due to the terrain and weather conditions (it gets hot out of the trees!). I took this trip with ELAFONISSOS TRAVEL and was so lucky I did as I experienced a sprain to my ankle two days prior and they were able to rent me a hiking stick for added stability over the loose and slippery rocks. The guide was knowledgeable about the conditions one would experience on the hike and there was no pressure to remain with the group, but pace the hike to your ability and comfort. Along the way there were rest stops and water to fill up if needed. At the end of the hike lay a beautiful beach for a dip to cool off and multiple restaurants to eat while waiting for the ferry to take you back.

We loved the trip! It was designed to be a fast paced trip to see as many archeological sites as possible and I do wish we had more down time but we were designing the trip around my daughter's specific interests. Mariliza was great and with only one exception we had wonderful experiences with everyone she set us up with. Had a difficult interaction with one staff member at The Editor Hotel on day 1 but it only highlighted how amazing everyone else was that we dealt with. We had several small changes in times on ferry rides and the like but Mariliza kept in contact with us and we had no issues.

The trip could not have been more perfect. Tasos and the entire team really listened to what we wanted. He made recommendations and suggested revisions where appropriate based upon his knowledge. Their team was always easy to reach with any questions we had. I would definitely work with them again and will recommend them without hesitation

SUMMARY:
One word: απίστευτος... or in english, INCREDIBLE! But even that one word doesn't do justice to the kind of trip we had in Greece and the amazing team at Be a Greek. We arrived in Athens for a couple of days to see the local sights, ferried to Mykonos for 3 more days and enjoyed some local farm-to-table and beach time, and then ferried to Santorini for 4 days for an opulent and relaxing close, before flying back to Athens for our flight home the next day.

PRE-TRIP PLANNING:
I don't know where to start with this review, so it's probably best where our trip started, when I first reached out to kimkim. The service looked straight forward enough to request an itinerary for our Greece trip, and immediately put me in touch with Effie from Be a Greek - local Greece travel experts. She titled our trip “Dream Vacation in Greece” and catered to every request - what our dates were, the type of vacation, budget, what's most important for the trip, where do you want to spend more/less money, more/less time, etc. Within only a day or two, Effie turned around a full 10-day itinerary that we iterated on a couple of minor tweaks, but within only a few days, our entire trip was finalized! And then we waited to see how it turned out...SO MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED!

ARRIVAL IN ATHENS:
From the moment we landed in Athens till the day we left home, we were met with white-glove service from start to finish. Effie had someone waiting at the airport holding a sign with my name to pick us up and take us to our hotel (Altar Suites Athens). The check-in process was seamless as they were waiting for us as well - our room was amazing with an incredible view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon . We had time that evening to roam around Monastiraki and enjoy dinner also with a view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. The next morning Effie had arranged a Private Walking Tour of Athens including the Acropolis - once again, a driver was waiting for us outside our hotel to take us to the meeting point for our tour guide. Our tour guide was Natasha and my goodness Natasha was so well informed and shared really interesting stories about the rich history of Athens and also about the cultural ongoings of recent history. We had great conversations throughout the day. Natasha also took us out for a break and stopped by a local restaurant and offered us refreshments :). Thank you Natasha for an incredible tour - you made our day in Athens so memorable!

OFF TO MYKONOS:
The next day Effie once again arranged for a driver to take us to the seaport for our super ferry to Mykonos. Before I go on, I'll mention it now, but every form of transport, hotel, tour, was all arranged by Effie and her team from the moment we landed. I'll share a little more about the communication later :). The ferry was a little more than 3 hrs, and due to the slightly inclement weather (higher winds than usual), the ride made us a little nauseous, but we managed. As we arrived at port, once again rinse and repeat - driver, hotel (The George Hotel), simple check-in! Effie arranged a Farm and Wine Tour the next day at a local Mykonos farm where we got to experience a true “farm-to-table” meal with wine and met their farm animals! BTW, we didn’t have to figure out transport to/from, since that was also arranged :). Now here is a quick communication example of where Effie and the team at Be a Greek stood out - we decided on-the-fly to go out to a different hotel bar for some cocktails - we simply messaged Effie and team and they quickly responded on options on where to go and arranged with the driver for the change in plans, and not only that, but to be available when we are ready to go back to our hotel later that evening. The seamlessness and ease of making a quick change in plans in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language - it really felt as if we’re at home and messaging our friends with a new plan to meet up! After all that we spent the night back at The George in preparation for our ferry to Santorini the next day.

OFF TO SANTORINI:
Driver, ferry, arrival to port, driver, arrival to hotel – I can’t express how much this made our trip that much easier not having to navigate the local taxis or other transport options. As we arrived at our hotel in Santorini (Andronis Concept Wellness Resort) - I’m going to put this out there right now - the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! I am a Lifetime Platinum member at a leading hotel chain and have been traveling for my career for almost 20 years, and the Andronis Concept is by far the best! We had mentioned to Effie that we wanted to spend the most time in Santorini and also be able to enjoy the hotel as a relaxing end to our vacation - and Effie went beyond expectations - this hotel had a massive infinity pool, a heated pool under a cave, and our room had its own private heated infinity pool for ourselves with a postcard view of the caldera! I could not have imagined a better stay and relaxing end to our trip. This by far was the best part of our trip - each morning waking up to a billion dollar view and each night watching the glorious Santorini sunset from the privacy of our balcony and pool. We did go out and enjoy two excursions - one being the hike from Fira to Oia which we did one morning - (quick fact - there are a couple other Andronis properties in Oia, so we were able to take advantage of our included breakfast in those sister properties when we reached Oia which was nice). The other excursion arranged by Effie was the Sunset Dinner Cruise - this was a nice, easy and enjoyable (also a must-do) experience when visiting Santorini! Incredible view and the Aegean Sea is just so clear and magnificent! Our saddest day was when we were leaving Santorini - not only because the hotel was amazing, but we knew it was time to head back home as well.

LAST NIGHT IN ATHENS:
We received a pleasant surprise as we arrived back in Athens - Effie, our Be a Greek contact and master trip coordinator met us at the Arrival terminal in Athens herself! She had booked us a night at the Sofitel immediately across from the airport and walked us over to the hotel to settle us to check-in. We had a great final dinner at Jenny’s Rooftop at the Sofitel before another nice breakfast and walked over back to the terminal for our flight home.

COMMUNICATION:
Effie and her team created a WhatsApp Chat Group for our trip beginning the morning of our trip. We had constant communication with Effie and the entire Be a Greek team that became our 24x7 support throughout the trip. They used it to message us each evening of the plans for the following day, any e-tickets/boarding passes for transportation (ferries/flights), and timings for when our drivers would be at a pickup spot. From start to finish, the Be a Greek team was along with us and at no point did we feel lost, or unaware of plans, or even quick modifications to plans. It was also very helpful when our ferry to Mykonos was delayed - without asking, we got a message in the chat letting us know about the delay even before passengers were made aware at the port! Whether it was for any on the fly recommendations, or suggestions on things to do on our “free” days, Effie and the team at Be a Greek were always available and truly exemplified the meaning of white glove service.

IN CLOSING:
The experience we had on this trip from the initial planning on KimKim to getting in touch with Effie from Be a Greek to the actual execution of the trip, we could not have asked for a more memorable vacation. We’ve looked back in fondness on our trip each day since returning on how amazing each day turned out and how we wouldn’t change anything! We personally want to thank Effie and the entire Be a Greek team for all that they did and truly making our vacation a Dream Vacation! If you can’t tell by now, for those looking for a hassle-free, worry-free, all-inclusive planned vacation where all you need to do is enjoy, I could not ask for a better team than Kimkim and Be a Greek! We will absolutely use them for our next vacation! Effie - You were amazing and thanks again for going completely out of your way, and over and beyond our expectations to meet us before we left Athens. THANK YOU!!

Our experience with booking our honeymoon through kimkim was incredible! Such great communication with our guide and various others who were in on our itinerary throughout the trip. We felt so taken care of and loved not having to worry about planning the transportation in country, and taking local recommendations for where to eat, what to do, etc. Effie, our tour guide for the Acropolis was so knowledgeable and personable- she gave us ideas for things to do in and around Athens during the heatwave! For the island-hopping portion of our trip, we had an unbelievable week at sea with Kostas & Aggeliki celebrating our honeymoon! We loved the islands that we ended up visiting, as the itinerary changed based on weather. Lots of chances for swimming & snorkeling & relaxing, with a new island to explore each night. We were a bit disappointed that we had a room with two twin beds shoved together for our honeymoon... But other than that we loved this hotel. The continental breakfast was good with delicious Greek yogurt and honey. The pool and views were insanely beautiful, cool location on a cliff side, close to really great restaurant- Magaya Beach Bar. It was unfortunately not walking distance to town- waited forever in the HOT sun to take a bus to Parikia.

We had a fantastic trip. From the private transfer upon landing in Athens to every single excursion and restaurant recommendation, we had a wonderful time.
Athens - we stayed at the Athens Cypria Hotel right near the Plaka district. The rooms were nice and quiet, and breakfast was great. It was easy walking distance to explore Plaka, the Lycabettus Hill, and historical sites. Our private tour guide at the Acropolis was fantastic. We had a private driver to Sounio with dinner and see the sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. A private day trip to Delfi included an amazing tour guide (Electra) and lovely lunch at an olive grove.
Crete - we loved this island. We stayed at the Aquila Atlantis hotel, which was very nice and close to the culture of downtown Heraklion. We had dinner at Peskesi, and it was a highlight of our whole trip. One day of our trip started with an olive oil tasting and tour of an olive grove, which was lovely (Koronekes Olive Mill). THen we went to lunch in downtown Archanes (Bakailiko) where we had amazing service and food, then we went to the Palace of Knossos. On our free day, we spent the entire day at Sarantari beach. We rented two chairs for 10 Euro and had a lovely little lunch from the beach cafe. Then we took a high speed ferry to Santorini.
Santorini - we stayed at the Heliotopos Hotel. It was such a lovely experience in the family room, what a gem of a boutique hotel! Imerviglio was a perfect spot - 30 minute walk along the trail down to Fira for shopping and sightseeing. We enjoyed dinner at Pelican Kipos (one of the staff recommendations) and it was perfect. We enjoyed the boat trip with Santos to see the caldera, visit the crater, and swim in the hot springs. Finally, our full day tour of Santorini with Argyros Travel was fantastic, ending with lunch at Mario's right on Black Beach.

We had a nice quiet stay here. We had two rooms adjoining by a private hallway, which was very nice. It is an older hotel but has nice updates. The breakfast was very good, and it is within a few minutes walk of Plaka and the historical sites. The view from the bar is quite nice! We did not have an Acropolis view from our room but it was quiet except on the one weekend night we stayed there.

We had a nice time here! It is close to the downtown area for walking, and had free parking (we rented a car). The rooftop pool was a hit. This is a gem of a hotel. Perfectly situated in Ivermiglio, which was a quiet village with nice restaurants, supermarkets and some shops. The family room had a double bed on the first floor, along with sitting room, kitchenette. The upper loft had two twin beds, so it was great for the family. Our room was right on the Fira to Oia trail, so we could easily get down to Fira. The staff here is so so so lovely. They helped direct us to things to do, were so kind, and offered us breakfast sandwiches for our early morning checkout (they even had someone come early to help us take our bags to the street). It is a boutique hotel experience that is not to be missed. The sunset views here are 100% phenomenal!!!

We left our hotel around 5 PM and went to dinner at tavern near Sounio. The meal wasn't our favorite of the trip, but there aren't a lot of restaurant choices near Sounio. The cape and the Temple of Poseidon did not disappoint! We got there around 7:30 PM and had enough time to walk around and find a spot to watch the sunset.

We were picked up by the Santos transfer on time and had a nice trip to the port where we waited for our boat to arrive. The group on our boat was mostly couples and one other family with young children. The trip included 1 hour at the volcano crater (which is just enough time to walk to the top and back down), then we sailed to an area where we could swim to hot springs. After that, we sailed to a second area for swimming followed by a delicious dinner, then back around to the port near Oia to watch the sunset. Overall it was a lovely day!

They provide a really good dinner of chicken kebabs, bread, rice, meatballs, greek salad, and a glass of local wine (or juice). The snack options for purchase were pretty limited (pringles and pretzels) so I'd tell the travelers to bring snacks.

We had a wonderful tour guide who met us at the Acropolis Metro and then walked us to the top of the Acropolis and then the Agora, and gave us great insight into the history. Our guide was wonderful , incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She knew that our family already knew a lot of the Greek mythology history, and so she gave us some insider tips on other things to see in the area. She could also tell when our kids were getting bored and fading, and helped us find them some ice cream to cool off between our stops.

This was a really nice day with Argyros Travel. Our driver Takis and guide Harry were great. We got to Oia for some pictures before the crowds, and then traveled down to Megalochori to see an older town and original cave house. Then we went to Akrotiri for a guided tour (it was very cool!!). After Akrotiri we did the Atlantis museum, then over to Black Beach for lunch at a restaurant Mario, which was wonderful and had a beautiful view. We learned a lot about Santorini's history, culture, and the tourism industry.

We also loved our guides. Eleni and her acropolis tour were delightful and each of the guides respected and appreciated my son’s Greek myth fandom. Driver/guides to Delphi and around Rhodes were SO personable and helped us get to know Greece on a more personal level, and were great companions.

Our trip went off FLAWLESSLY! I am so impressed with Angela- our KimKim contact in Greece. The tours she set up for us were perfect for me, my daughter and two grandsons, ages 5 and 9. She checked in with us regularly- which gave us an extra layer of comfort and security.

Our hotels in Athens, Santorini and Rhodes were just what we needed- comfortable, clean and in wonderful locations.

Our Driver to Delphi, Dimitris, was an absolute pleasure, The guide his company provided was very knowledgeable and especially attentive to our 9 year old- who is fascinated with Greek Mythology and requested a visit to Delphi. We stopped for lunch at a gorgeous restaurant on the way home.

Eleni, our guide at the Acropolis was equally fantastic. Her "Young Heroes Tour" was perfectly age appropriate.
The Sunset Cruise in Santorini included a wonderful hike on the volcano. Seeing Akroteri was excellent.

In Rhodes, we were taken care of by the most amazing driver- Nikos from Manos Tours. He was so informative, great with our little guys and so proud of his culture and country.

I will definitely use KimKim for future travel. It left us free to enjoy and learn while they took care of all the details. VERY well done- many thanks!

Not fancy, but served our purposes very well, Again- no elevator so not good if you can't do stairs

Our trip planned by Tasos at KimKim Travel was the best vacation my Husband and I have ever taken! Tasos worked to organize our customized Greece trip by listening to what we wanted to do and not do. We flew from Tucson, AZ, to Atlanta, GA, then to Athens, Paros and Santorini Islands. We spent 4 days on the mainland of Athens while also traveling to Meteora and Delphi. The history is like none other in the world! The Plaka District is the place to stay for the history in all of Athens in my opinion and The AVA Boutique Hotel where we stayed had amazing breakfasts every morning and treated us superb. Very comfortable suite w/kitchen. They even gave us welcome and parting gifts! Totally unexpected. In Athens, we visited the Parthenon, Acropolis Hill, the Ancient Agora, National Archaeological Museum. Very historic and great history learned.
Michael was our Tour Guide for The Acropolis & Ancient Athens Mythology Tour, he was wonderful, funny and a great historian.
George was our Private Transfer Driver who drove us safely to Meteora, the oldest Olive Oil Producer in Greece with ancient olive Grove and Delphi and he was great too! He added stops along the way at no additional cost so we could get some beautiful pictures by the sea and history (battle of Thermopylae) that he provided himself. Meteora and Delphi were humbling. The history there and the stories of the Monks from the past to today we will never forget! By the end of the three travel days we were friends with George and he too gave us a parting gift of his very own harvested olive oil and oregano! We're enjoying both today as I write this:)!
George, delivered us to the Athens Airport and we flew to Paros Island. The plane was small and we were cramped. Husband is 6'5" and I'm 5'10" so hard to get around that. Fortunately, it wasn't a long flight.
We loved Paros, didn't want to leave. Don't recommend anywhere that we traveled in Greece to snorkel. Did bring our gear but no coral, sea floor is black rock or rock from volcano eruption and/or earthquakes. Did see lots of small fish though. Water is a beautiful turquoise and just the right temperature in June to swim and enjoy. Don't wear your smart watch in the salt water!
Paros is an amazing Island. Old authentic with new development just as Tasos mentioned. We wanted beaches and that's why Tasos recommended Paros. We spent 4 nights on Paros. Town of Naoussa (where we stayed) and Parikia were great to visit, dine, shop and just go around at our own pace. We had great meals and service everywhere we ate. Never had a bad meal. We stayed at the Contaratos Beach Hotel. Right on the water. Had an amazing balcony that looked right out on the gorgeous pool and then the Sea. The view was fantastic. Employees were awesome at hotel. Always smiling and willing to help whenever needed. Tasos recommended a full day boat trip that we met great people on and had a huge meal that was delicious. All the beer, wine, other beverages and food you wanted. We traveled to many islands, swam and snorkeled. Great day! Naoussa and Parikia were so much fun! We used Panos as a private transfer driver throughout our stay and he was very friendly and kind too.
We took a ferry from Paros to Santorini Island. Very crowded but moved well. We were comfortable on the ride. We arrived on Santorini along with 7 other "Cruise Ships" that day! Santorini is way too crowded at this time of year. Yes, the island is beautiful but don't recommend going here. Way too crowded and expensive. Everything here was more than double the price of Paros and other Greek Islands that are spectacular. Our hotel, Petit Palace Suites, was fantastic. Great view of the caldera, off the crowded track. Room and Employees were fantastic. We took a morning Catamaran Caldera Cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, ship crew and getting to know the people cruising with us. The town of Oia was beautiful but disappointing because it was way too crowded. Did come away with great pictures from the island though. Wasn't impressed with the sunset. We have prettier sunrises and sunsets in AZ;). We also attended a wine tasting that we were supposed to sip wine, learn about their old vines and the centuries long winemaking process that we would only find in Santorini, but, we were only entitled to sip 4 wines and didn't have any tour or learn about their winemaking process. I think that lasted for 30 minutes. There was no view that I recall either.
After two nights in Santorini, we started our return by flying to Athens late on day 3. However, our flight was cancelled due to weather in Athens. Tasos set us up with "Travel 12" Customer Service through Whatsapp to communicate from the beginning of our trip to the end. Travel 12 was with us all along the way, while Tasos left us to enjoy our trip but monitored the communication. Immediately, Travel 12 was there to support us by offering to find us a hotel with transfers. My Husband stood in line for over 2 hours with Aegean Airlines (partner of Delta) to determine what they were going to do with us. We had to catch a connection the next day at noon for the US out of Athens. We did have insurance and was assured the hotel and flight changes would probably be covered according to Travel 12 so that was a relief. Travel 12 consulted with Tasos and he advised to wait to see what Aegean would do for us because if they offered a hotel with transfers back to airport the next morning our insurance would not cover what Travel 12 was working on for us and that's exactly what happened. Aegean covered transfers and another night stay on Santorini. The hotel was decent and the transfers were timely and just as expected.
Once we finally arrived home in Tucson, AZ, our bags did not. However, Delta tracked them out of Athens and were delivered to our home 2 days later in tact with nothing damaged.

Angela was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From the planning process all the way to the final pickup. She was always available within minutes. She adjusted our travel plan to meet our wants and needs. It was perfect!

Once our actual trip time came, Angela was readily available for any schedule changes to ensure the process was smooth.

We began our journey in Athens, it was HOT! Make sure to drink lots of water. We were able to explore the city on our own a bit. We loved the boutique hotel Classic by Athens Prime and the location was convenient. We did a tour our second day to the acropolis. This was very informative but very hot. Make sure to take lots of water, sunscreen and wear comfortable shoes.

The following morning we took a ferry to Paros. I think this was our favorite part of the trip. We were greeted at the Paros Bay Hotel by 3 dogs. The scenery of the beach and amazing pool. We went to the old town of Naousa that night. We had dinner by the water at Barbarossa, then walked through the cobblestone streets. It was not crowded. Absolutely beautiful. The following day we had a boat tour scheduled to the surrounding island of Antiparos. Angela contacted us and said that due to low participation we had the option to upgrade to a sailing tour. We agreed. The next morning we boarding Parian and we were the only 2 on board. An entire day to ourselves on Parian. We were treated like royalty and the scenery was like nothing I have ever scene before. Highly recommend.

The final leg of our journey, we took a ferry over to Santorini. The day was a bit breezy so the ride was rough and the ferry was stuffy. We stayed at the Above Blue Suites in Imerovigli. The room was amazing with a hot tub on the balcony and caldera view. This village is situated between Thira and Oia, so it wasn’t as busy but convenient to both. We had dinner at Oia Gefsis. Food and staff were amazing and the sunset views were wonderful, despite a bit of hazy weather. The following day we had free time in the morning. We had breakfast on our balcony, the lunch at Avacado in Imerovigli, which we highly recommend. Great food and friendly staff. Then we took the sunset cruise. It was the perfect way to end our trip! Breathtaking! The only improvement I could make for the sunset cruise , was the transportation dropped us off about 2 blocks from our hotel at 10pm at night. That made me a bit uncomfortable.

Overall, our trip was amazing! I cannot wait to plan our next one!

Return driver dropped is off about 2 blocks from our hotel at 10 pm. We were lost.

Our Athens guides were both excellent. They were easy to understand, were very knowledgeable and very friendly. We enjoyed all of our tours on the mainland. The hotel was centrally located and the staff were genuinely happy to have us staying. They were helpful with any needs we had. The hotel room was large enough for us to sleep, but there wasn't any space for us to congregate. Luckily, the rooftop was available and easily accessible for us to congregate. My only complaint was we were not allowed to use the AC, It was necessary for us to keep the windows open to keep air circulating. This made nights a little noisy and caused us some sleep issues.

Our Santorini guides were not as good as the guides we had on the rest of our trip. Some of that was due to the tours that we took and also the mix up with the cooking excursion. They were friendly and easy to understand. We did enjoy the hiking guide. The hotel in Santorini was by far our favorite of the trip. It was very spacious, well located, and the staff was again very cordial. Outside of the hike, cooking class, and the scheduled restaurants, I would probably have just left our time free. We were not impressed with Lost Atlantis.

The guides in Crete were excellent. They were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and were able to make changes to our itinerary on the fly, which was much appreciated. The tour we had scheduled on the first day was spectacular. The second day we switched up the schedule and got the opportunity to go to the beach, our only opportunity to do this. We were happy that the guides made the suggestion to make the change. The hotel in Crete was too cramped for five people. One bedroom, one bathroom and three people sleeping in the living area was less than ideal. I would suggest not using this hotel for more than three people. Also, we all wondered why we stayed in Rethymno rather than in Heraklion. We spent a lot of time on the highway between these two towns.

Overall, we were very happy with our trip, We have been asked what our favorite part of the trip was, but we have a very difficult time answering the question. The three areas we visited were all so different and we felt like we were visiting three different countries.

I would recommend your services to others. I think that we got a good taste of Greece and the knowledge that Angela had of the country and how to match our desired experiences with good options. Our trip was almost two weeks long and we had only one hiccup, which was impressive.

We were contacted about the cooking class about five hours later. We were told they were on their way to pick us up. This was the same night we had reservations Oia Gefsis and the cooking class would have interfered with our reservation. We were able to schedule this excursion the next day prior to our ferry ride to Crete. Unfortunately, we were unable to go snorkeling.

My family made a decision to be more adventurous with our food choices while on vacation. We tried a number of different foods that we would not normally eat at home. We are not a family that eats much from the water, because we live so far from water. We were surprised that we ended up eating at a sushi restaurant. We ate almost all of the meal. We probably won't make sushi a regular option now, but I can say that this will be one of our memories from our trip.

Knossos Palace & Authentic Crete with Local Experiences from East P9

This was our best guide. She was basically a teacher providing us with a lesson about the site. We learned more about Knossos Palace than any other site we visited. We ended up eating at a very nice restaurant and spent two hours eating and drinking. I felt bad for the guide and driver who had to wait on us.

Our trip to Greece (Athens, Mykonos & Naxos) was fantastic. Mariliza suggested and booked the perfect things for us and understood that we didn't want to be too scheduled. The trips/tours we did were: - the Acropolis/Parthenon, a sailing trip to Delos from Mykonos, a cooking class and and island tour of Naxos. It was perfect. The hotels were amazing and just right for our family of four with our two grown daughters. In Mykonos and Naxos we had 'maisonettes' which is like a small two bedroom appt - just the right amount of privacy and togetherness. All the transfers and pick-ups were exactly on time and any changes were communicated well in advance and in multiple ways to make sure we didn't miss them! The trip was very smoothly run and everthing happened exactly as Mariliza said it would. Our local guides were also top notch and very informative - Dimitra (Acropolis), Jessie (Delos), Mrs. Vuola (cooking class) and Leonidis (Naxos island tour). We had the perfect amount of things to do/see and beach/alone time. We will definitely go back, Greece has so much to see, and we will definitely use Kim Kim for that next trip.

Beautiful little boutique hotel, exquisitely furnished and appointed. Very quiet and romantic with only a few rooms. No food amenities available within the hotel and breakfast was ordered in from outside sources for us as we had early pick-ups the two days we were there. A short walk from restaurants and tourist attractions. I wouldn't stay if I had children but perfect for couples.

Everything in the rooms was beautiful and beautifully packaged from the coffee to the robes and the items for sale.

The accomodations here were top notch, very clean and comfortable. The thing that made the Nimbus great was the staff and how accomodating they were. Nothing was too much to ask. They were so nice and helpful.

This hotel is not in the center of Mykonos town, it was approx 15mins by car to get there. Perfect for us as it was not in the 'thick of it'. Peaceful. Right next to a small, pretty beach (walkable).

Such a friendly place run by a family of very friendly people. They love to meet and talk with their guests and get to know them. Naxos is not such a touristy island and the experiences here are more about true Greek life and meeting Greek people who actually live there, whereas a lot of the Greek people we met in Mykonos were from elsewhere in Greece and were in Mykonos for the 'summer season'. Loved both experiences but quite different from each other.

Meet Greek people who want to meet YOU in the place where they live. They are very proud of their island and it's produce.

Not in the Naxos town but a short bus ride away. Easy to navigate the buses and the best way to get around without renting a car.

Dimitra was our wonderfully informative guide for this mind-blowing experience. Hellish hot so come prepared with hat, water and sunscreen and plan to take a loooooong lunch afterwards but this tour is not to be missed. So much information about one of the worlds most important sites. The beginning of so much that we now use in our own societies. Can't miss it, especially with a guide like Dimitra.

⛵ Sailing Cruise to Delos archaeological site & Rhenia islet

Well the Mediterranean happened to be windless and calm the day we 'sailed' so we used the motor most of the time. However, we barely noticed as we made friends with the other sailors. First stop was Delos island and although we'd never heard of it before, Jessie our guide, allowed us to understand how important it was in the history of the region. Amazing island with ruins all over the place. Again very hot and not much shade so go prepared. Then we got to swim in turquoise blue clear water which was very welcome after the long hot tour of Delos. Managed to get one sail up on the way back.

This was hilarious, so much fun. Making moussaka with the ladies from Mrs. Vuola's family and then getting a tour of their farm from the son while the moussaka was cooking. A wonderfully authentic experience topped of with eating our creations - will never buy tzatziki again, will only make it.
