We had a terrific time traveling and everything went smooth and organized. Lacey couldn't have been more helpful! The local guides, transfer staff and drivers were also great. We really enjoyed the mini trips during the vacation too! The sightseeing, food, temples, palaces, parks and people were great to see and visit. The hotel selection was perfect and fit our styles well.
We really enjoyed the dinner experience with the local family. Our entire trip to Krabi was a homerun. Bathing with the elephants was great but a bit too long of a day. One mention, the trip to the national park was very physical, we enjoyed the visit but one of us did not take the walk through the park, just a bit too much.

Our guide in Bangkok (Julie) was great. She gave a 100% and was well prepared and attentive. Also, our driver in Bangkok (Ont) was great! Very helpful and well mannered. My thanks to both of them and I wish them the best.
As for Phuket, we never saw or heard from our guide (Jeffory). Some young lady with a private car picked us up from the airport and had no idea about our hotel booking, etc. Jeffory needs to get his act together! I would have at least sent a welcome message and an appology if I were in his place.

This was the easiest trip I ever planned and every part of it unfolded exactly as expected. No surprises, no disappointments and no hidden expenses. Kelly was the key. No matter how many changes I requested or tips and suggestions I asked for, she always came through with quality and precise answers. There was NO stress on this trip despite a 4 yr old traveler, 3 hotels, flights to the beach and shuttles to arrange. Our guide Nick in Bangkok was professional and made the tours feel “new” to us, even though he may have done them hundreds of times. He had good suggestions for breaks and lunch and my favorite was the temple tour and the “ sleeping Buddah” . The railroad market was also unique and exciting. But without the “cog in the wheel”
( Kelly) nothing would have come together as smooth and effortless as this vacation did. Many thanks , Kelly. I feel I’ve made a friend for life with you and any trips to Asia in the future will definitely include you as the “ specialist “. Our favorite activity was the day spent st Chai Lai Orchid. Our guide Robert was phenomenal. The interaction with elephants was more than expected. The Chiang Mai tour with Marty was a learning experience. Marty answered all questions with good detail. Once in Phuket the trip to Phi Phi Island was very memorable and exciting Toy was great and treated us special. He always called us by name and made sure we were taken care of. The cooking class with Jim was a lot of fun, the best food we had on our trip.

Mint was quick to take action to rebook outings and adjust hotel stay when a typhoon resulted in our flight being cancelled at the last minute. We stayed with family in a remote area of Thailand. On the day we transferred from this remote area to Bangkok, Mint found Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand where our family, including 6 grandchildren between 2-12 enjoyed seeing tigers, gibbons, and feeding elephants. The lunch buffet included with the tour was outstanding. It was good knowing we were supporting an organization that helps abused animals. The best part of going to the floating market was that we took a longboat tour to the floating market along a narrow canal that backed up to local’s homes. The Peking duck spring rolls in Bangkok’s Chinatown were delicious. This street food was provided by a fancy hotel vendor. We stayed at the beautiful Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. The Manohra dinner cruise departs from the pier located at the Anantara hotel. The dinner cruise was enjoyable. When I inquired about discounts while on the cruise, staff gave us a Buy One Get One Free coupon at one of the Anantara bars. The extensive breakfast buffet at the Anantara Hotel was out of this world. The pool area is beautiful and the free gym was well appointed. Mint arranged for guides and drivers that arrived promptly. Mint was quick to respond to questions on What’s App and coordinated activities well. She was flexible in adjusting activities as the need arose. We enjoyed having a hotel near the night market in Hua Hin.

Our main guides Pukie and Ron were terrific. They were so helpful and friendly and provided so much interesting information about everything we saw. In fact all our guides from the Baan Chang Elephant Park to Thonburi were excellent. We loved having private guides to show us sites off the beaten path (my favorite was Wat Thong Noppakhun--like no other temple we saw in Thailand!) Our hotels were generally very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend Lacey's services for planning a trip to Thailand.

Tina was amazing from pre-trip planning to availability when small and I do mean small issues came up. We had an amazing trip. Our guides were excellent but a special shout out to Nora on the China town food tasting and the entire staff at SONEVA KIRI. What an incredibly special place and group of people.

Our trip to Thailand was a dream come true for our family and 2 elementary aged kids. Kelly helped design an amazing itinerary, providing suggestions, clear communication, and seamless transitions. In Chiang Mai, our guide, Jira, educated us on the history and culture of Northern Thailand. We loved our chats with him! Smile Lanna, our hotel, was particularly relaxing and comfortable, with great breakfasts and pool! We especially enjoyed the Thai cooking lesson and elephant sanctuaries, as well as the hike in the mountain rainforest. The floating huts in Khao Sok were gorgeous, along with the longboat rides and waterfall and cave hikes. Lastly, the hotel in Phuket was relaxing - right on the beach! Thanks for making our stay in Thailand so wonderful and relaxing. Great food, culture, people, and adventures!

We took a brief hour long boat ride before breakfast, then the boat ride back to the dock. Short day - we would have liked a longer tour today or perhaps another short hike before traveling home.

Overall the planning and tour were excellent. Kelly did a great job of modifying the tour several times before the actual booking. Communication with Heidi at Odinovotours was easy and responsive. Our guides in Bangkok (Tao), Siem Reap (Mr.T) , Saigon (Victor) and Hanoi and Ha Long Bay (Binh) and all the drivers were great! Very knowledgeable, descriptive, on time, and courteous. They always had cold water and cold washcloths for us. They even helped us check-in at the airports. It was wonderful to have guides everywhere who we were able to communicate with by WhatsApp.
The sites visited were amazing. The only thing we would have chosen differently were the hotels in Bangkok and Saigon. We wouldn’t stay there again, and possibly more time to rest in between all the touring. We are all in our 70’s and were very tired!
One more thing, while in Hanoi, it was my husband’s birthday. Without us mentioning anything, Odynovotours sent us a cake and the hotel sent us fruit and a dessert! A nice surprise!

This hotel is in need of updating. The room we had didn’t even have a place to connect a cellphone by the bed. The bathroom was so old it didn’t look clean. It was humid in the room. The fan for the A/C never stopped, but it did not make the room more comfortable. The restaurant and breakfast buffet compared to the other hotels was subpar. Very small and the servers did not speak or understand ANY English at all. The location was good, though.

This hotel was beautiful and well kept. The rooms were nice although almost every hotel we visited on this trip had issues with the shower, water coming out and flooding most of the bathroom. We definitely would not stay there again! So old and not updated at all. First was given a room without a shower (it was missing) was then moved at 11:00pm after a late tour to another room (had to re-pack our belongings) that had no water pressure, so the shower hit the wrong place and flooded the bathroom which was very small. All the bathtubs were so high it was extremely difficult to get in and out! Finally, the last night after complaining, we were allowed to use the bathroom next door which was a suite with a separate shower. Heidi at Odynovotours was responsive about this problem.

The Lapis Hotel

We only stayed 2 nights there, separated by the Ha Long Cruise. The staff was great, the first night the room was really nice except for the bathroom which was very small. It was modern and clean. And well kept. The 2nd stay we we’re upgraded to a suite. Everything was perfect there. We would stay here again (request a suite) Breakfast was really good.

This was a cruise of Ha Long Bay. It was amazing although too short, cut short by upcoming weather. Cabins were huge, comfortable, food very good. Service was great. We did not take the shore excursions offered free, we stayed on the ship and enjoyed the rest, peace and quiet, and the spa pool. Staff was so friendly! The views were amazing. We had a great time although short.

Athena Luxury Cruise - Day 1

The first day on this cruise was nice. The cabin was very large and comfortable, also the bathroom. We were tired from a long trip, 23 days, so we basically enjoyed the amazing views of Ha Long Bay. Most passengers went on the 2 shore excursions, but we stayed on the ship and took advantage of the jacuzzi the size of a very small swimming pool but refreshing just the same. The food was acceptable, but they charged extra for everything, even water and coffee. The drinks were not good, but anyway the bar didn’t open until 5:00pm so no drinks for people who stayed on the ship., not even soft drinks. The sunset and view were breathtaking that night. It would have been nice to have some music, but they had none. We paid for some massages which were relaxing. The staff were very pleasant and nice, friendly

This tour was the first thing we saw in Siem Reap. If you want to see authenticity and how the floating villages and people live, go ahead and take this tour. It was not for us. The poverty and situation if these people broke our hearts. The lake is filthy (again, authentic reality). They live in unsanitary conditions. On our little boat was the 3 year old daughter and wife of the captain, hiding in the back, heartbreaking, dressed in rags, and we were told they live and sleep in that little boat.

We had an exciting day visiting the caves. We swam in the ocean and did some kayaking. The guides were very knowledgeable and gave us an informative tour of the caves. The food on the boat was really good. We enjoyed making our own Kratong.

We had a fantastic family holiday in Thailand!

Lacey planned everything so perfectly… we were well looked after by our guides and drivers and particularly in relation the airport transfers which can be daunting and stressful in a new country. Extremely responsive to any issues that arose which were minimal and dealt with professionally! Thank you Lacey!

Special mention to Toto ( Bangkok guide) and Pookie (Chiang Mai guide) who were absolutely amazing and treated us so well.., we would not have had the experience we did without them. The drivers also do such a fantastic job in stressful circumstances and kept my family comfortable and safe.

Our guide in Bangkok was so amazing, my kids and I had a once in a lifetime time: Buddhas, china town, train market, water market, Monkeys, elephants, private Muay Thai class, phi phi islands, watched a Thai boxing match and so much more!!

Tina, our local specialist from Kim Kim, took our basic desires and turned it into an magical week in Thailand. Without fail every flight, transfer, meeting and accommodations were handled flawlessly and every person on our journey that she had setup was very professional and fully ready to assist us in every way. While I was sceptical because I had found them online and my introduction to Kim Kim was only though reading reviews and on line reputation reports, we were very pleasantly surprised by the details of the planning/scheduling's and the constant communications throughout the entire process and during the trip. Our trip started in Bangkok where we met our guide Yee. She was fantastic. Her English was excellent, and was so accommodating. The catered to our interest and went at a perfect pace. The temples were amazing, but Yee was the highlight because she offered such great information on history, background and culture of Thailand. I can’t think of a better way to start our holiday. All of our domestic transfers on Bangkok airways were great. We learned how to register an extra bag online after first flight. Tina was great throughout the trip and responsive to any last minute questions we had. We love Koh Samui and diving in Koh Tao. Another unexpected highlight of the trip was John Gray canoe tour in Phang Nga Bay. There are so many excellent things to say about this tour. The environment, the crew, the vessel, our guide Josef, the food and Krathong flowers. It is had to describe the experience in words, but this is a must for anyone in the region. We enjoyed our time in Phuket, we made it to Similians and Phi Phi. We had a late flight on departure day and Tina helped with extending our driver. We had not made it to BigBuddha and he took us there and to Old Phuket town on our way to the airport. A great way to wrap the trip.

Our guides, Mike and Tim, were just wonderful. They made sure we saw all the items that were on our lists and even some unexpected ones. The visitation to all the Buda sites, the gold and people dressed in clothing from the country was so great. Seeing how the women made the flower decorations to honor the temples was amazing. All the areas to shop and the street food vendors were a site to see. Great time!! Now looking forward to the next adventure.

Guide Mike was fantastic! Great attitude, lots of information, took us on extra trips not in itinerary and walked us to specific shopping stores! Jim got friendly as time went on trying to use his English skills. Loved the cold water and wash cloths! I'm keeping Mike's card just in case I need it again.

I had a fantastic trip to Thailand, which mostly was focused on beaches and relaxation. Thailand is just a perfect destination for it. At the same time, it was cool to be on a traveler's side, since I am a kimkim staff, and manage the Asian region. So my feedback is based not just on the impressions and experiences, but also on the knowledge about how tours should be conducted. We had just one private sightseeing tour in Bangkok included in the itinerary and our tour guide Lina was awesome! She is so passionate about what she does, she is knowledgeable and attentive to details.
We also had all transfers included, and the minivans provided for transfers were spacious, comfortable and had great air conditioning ( which is super important in Thailand), drivers provided us with cold water all the time. We had another speedboat "join-in" tour included in our itinerary, which I highly recommend. There were options and we were recommended a sunrise tour. It was fantastic to see the famous beach from Leo DiCaprio's movie "The Beach" without people since attending a sunrise tour allows you to enter the Island before all the crowds.
Also, I'd like to highlight the hotel we stayed at at PhiPhi Island - Phi Phi Co Co resort. I think this one was the best on the Island.
To sum it up - great tour, Tina is a great specialist and I am grateful for such a wonderful vacation.
