If location is your priority, Ad Hoc Monumental Hotel is an excellent option, just a six-minute walk to the Valencia Cathedral. You'll also be across the street from Turia Park, the expansive greenspace that curves around the Old Town and offers gardens, bike paths, and historic bridges. Though you'll be in the center of the action, Ad Hoc Monumental Hotel is on a surprisingly quiet side street that feels more residential. A taxi ride from the main train station takes about 10 minutes and roughly 20 minutes from the airport.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The hotel itself is quite charming, but the rooms make it evident that this is just a standard hotel. They certainly fit the historical theme, with antique furnishings, exposed brick, and beamed ceilings, but some could use a refresh with the bedding and perhaps a little more detail with cleanliness. Still, rooms provide air conditioning and marble flooring, while a few offer private terraces or balconies. Keep in mind that you won't have a minifridge in the room, and the walls are a bit thin, making it easy to hear your neighbors.

Ad Hoc Monumental is a little lacking when it comes to amenities, but you’ve got the basics covered, like free WiFi.
