Évora Olive Hotel, Évora

Centrally located in the old city centre but due to road closures, it was difficult to get around by car. The beds were incredible hard and the pillows non-existant. The restaurant, bar and breakfasts were excellent. The pool and outdoor garden were excellent and nice quiet respite from the business of Evora.

Comfortable room. Nice pool. The bar served a lovely Sangria. Our experience at the restaurant was sun-par.

The rooms were massive compared to other rooms that we stayed in Portugal. Very walkable and close to the city center. Staff was very nice and it was clean.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing amount of marble. Great underground parking. Staff were very helpful with excellent suggestions for places to visit and to eat.

We had great service in the bar/snack area one evening when we decided to stay in for something light. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

Very modern reception area, room average size a bit stuffy

The hotel is in a good location and has a large underground parking garage. The staff were impersonal and distant. We arrived during a torrential downpour. No one helped us unload our luggage or told us that we can unload in the underground garage. They just watched us get soaked. We arrived at 2pm but were not given a room until the checkin time at 3pm even though we were soaked to the bone.

The rooms were bare of necessities - no conditioner or body lotion, lumpy mattress and flat-as-pancakes pillows. Plastic cups for drinking. Two old fraying towels. The floors are polished concrete, so we asked for slippers and were told that we'd have to buy them.

Not sure how this is a 4-star hotel....

Comfy and spacious rooms. Walking distance from must see attractions of Evora. There is a pool (ice cold so beware!) and free parking in the underground section which is very convenient. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Loved this hotel. It was not about old world character which we very much appreciate but it is very modern and a great hotel.
