Pros
- Though a little outside the main tourist area, you can still reach the Catedral de Seville in less than 15 minutes by foot, plus other sites like the Royal Alcázar at about the same time or Plaza de España in around 25 minutes.
- The hotel's building was once an 18th-century palace, so you'll find plenty of hints to its past, including old wooden doors and paneling, a preserved inner courtyard patio, and unique floor tiling.
- There are many places to relax, such as the spa with a gym, sauna, steam bath, and treatments, plus the restaurant with its plush dining room and outdoor patio.
- All the rooms have character, but some include wood-beamed ceilings, free-standing soaking tubs, and balconies.
- Relax on the rooftop terrace with a seasonal plunge pool, sun deck, and bar.
- The hotel staff offers excellent service.
- Though still walkable and within the historic city center, the location is a bit away from the main sites.

The Hotel Palacio de Villapanés in Seville was good, but not great. The valet and general service were nice, though.

If I could give it six stars I would. The hotel was an old castle or something in the olden days, but it's thoroughly modernized.
The rooms we got upgraded to a suite--holy smokes. Unbelievable with living room, bedroom, and large bathroom. This hotel give luxury a new meaning.
Breakfast was excellent every morning as well...I mean, it wasn't even a buffet. It's a la carte but you get incredible selection. It's included in our package.
Staff was SUPER friendly.
