Kimkim's Take

Pros
- Just around the corner from the Catedral de Sevilla, you'll be right in the action while tucked away down a slightly quieter side street.
- Nearly everything is within walking distance, including the city's main shopping streets and those lined with tapas bars, plus attractions like the Cathedral and Giralda Tower, Royal Alcázar, and Plaza de España.
- Relax on the rooftop terrace, which provides incredible city views and an outdoor pool.
- Rooms have lots of historical elements, including brick walls, handmade period furniture, chandeliers, and wood-beamed ceilings.
- Some upgraded rooms feel like they belong in a castle and/or offer private terraces with Jacuzzis.
- Enjoy a fresh breakfast buffet in the dining room or on the outdoor patio, and come back in the afternoon for complimentary tea service.
- Though you can use hidden side streets to bypass the crowds, the hotel is in a very touristy area that can feel busy, especially in the high seasons.
- Although all the rooms are soundproofed, street-facing rooms may be on the noisy side.
Authenticity
Set in a 19th-century mansion, Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla preserved much of the building's original character, including its balconies, carpentry, shutters, coffered ceilings, domes, and frescoes, so you'll be sleeping among history.Location
It doesn't get much better than this location, just around the corner from the Cathedral. It's the perfect spot that puts you close to the action yet down a side street for a bit of calm. You'll also be within walking distance of all the major sites, such as the Royal Alcázar and Plaza de España, plus numerous streets lined with shops and tapas bars.Rooms & Bathrooms
The building's history carries over into the rooms, all with handmade furniture from hardwood, plus wooden floors and marble bathrooms. You'll find a few other historical details, such as chandeliers, plus upgraded rooms that offer private terraces with Jacuzzis. Some of the suites feel fit for a castle, though all the bathrooms seem a bit dated.Amenities
The property's location makes the rooftop terrace worth your time, with incredible city views plus an outdoor plunge pool. Thanks to the glass walls around the rooftop, you can enjoy unparalleled city views while you soak in the pool or relax on one of the lounge chairs surrounding it. The hotel is accessible, with elevators going to the upper floors, and there is one wheelchair-adapted room on the ground floor.Family-Friendliness
Compared to other hotels in Sevilla, Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla is not the most family-friendly option, catering more to adult travelers or families with older children. However, children of any age are welcome, and infants under two stay for free. Some larger rooms and suites may suit families. You won’t find any amenities for children.Other Highlights
There's no onsite eatery, but you can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet and complimentary afternoon tea service, both served in a beautiful dining area or on the outdoor patio. Breakfast features local specials, like Iberian cold cuts, and you can even get a glass of Cava.Like what you see?

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and afternoon tea was a bonus! The only issue we had was that we could not adjust the temperature of the room. We were offered a fan which helped some.

This hotel is not just a hotel, it is an amazing experience!! The location is excellent, literally a 5 minute walk to to the Cathedral of Seville and the Alcazar surrounded by so many tapas restaurants and shops. Despite the hustle and bustle, once you enter the hotel, it’s an oasis of calm and zen. The reception front desk team was beyond amazing! Special shout outs to Alberto, Leo, Julio and Rosa! The rooms ( patio rooms) were gorgeous and well appointed. The beds were super comfortable and...
