Hotel Pascual Andino, San Pedro de Atacama

There are just 10 rooms in this intimate hotel, divided between twin and double options. The difference is that twins have two beds, and doubles have one; otherwise, they're the same. All rooms follow a traditional Atacama and desert style, featuring red and brown earth tones, handwoven textiles, and natural materials. While there are no TVs in the rooms, they all have a small enclosed patio where you can enjoy a drink and fresh air. 

The garden and outside area include a small pool where you can cool off during the hot desert days. There's a breakfast area to get your morning sustenance, and while there's no on-site restaurant, the hotel's central location makes it easy to check out the mix of restaurants in town. There's parking for those traveling around the desert by car, and the hotel has free bikes for those who want to explore the area that way.
