Pros

• You won't technically be in the historic core of Valencia, but the tradeoff is that you'll be across the street from the city's Botanical Gardens. 
• Relax up on the rooftop terrace, with its trendy bar, a plunge pool perfect for cooling off, sun loungers, and live music from time to time. 
• The rooms are chic, contemporary, bright, and spacious, with marble bathrooms providing Rituals toiletries, robes, and slippers.
• You can upgrade to one of the premium rooms, some with private sections of the rooftop terrace with personal loungers, outdoor furniture, and fountains. 
• The on-site restaurant serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and the ground-floor bar is trendy with an Art Deco vibe.
• Each morning, you can enjoy the hotel's breakfast, which has a large buffet section and an a la carte menu. 

Cons

• The hotel will make you feel like you're in Valencia's charming Old Town, but you'll be a little farther from the action—still, you can walk to the main sites and just three blocks from a metro station. 

Authenticity

L&H Gran Via Valencia is a modern hotel in a beautiful historic building lining one of the city's main streets, Gran Vía, taking you back to a bygone era. Though completely renovated, the hotel still offers hints of the past with its vaulted and coffered ceilings and classic decor. 

Location

L&H Gran Via Valencia scores high in every category but its location. If you don't mind being a little away from the action, it's a good spot or an excellent backup if other options are booked. You'll be on a busy corner of the city's Gran Via, but a nice pedestrian park separates the two sides of the street. There's a bus stop out front and a metro station three blocks from the hotel. Still, you can easily walk to many sites, including the Mercado Central in 12 minutes, the Valencia Cathedral in 17 minutes, and Plaça de l'Ajuntament in 18 minutes. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

You'll enjoy bright, airy, spacious, and chic rooms with modern comforts, including air conditioning, espresso machines, Juliette balconies, marble bathrooms with rainfall showerheads, Rituals toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. The standard double rooms are perfectly comfortable and cozy, but the premium rooms offer a bit more space, and some include private patios or terraces, complimentary minibars, and/or bathtubs.
