Historic 19th-century residence offering in-room massages, a wine corner, and green outdoor space

Overview

L'Hôtel Particulier Bordeaux is a centrally located 19th-century residence in Bordeaux. You'll stay in a stone building on the street leading up to Cathédrale Saint-André de Bordeaux, one of the city's main attractions. In addition to being just two minutes from the cathedral, L'Hôtel Particulier Bordeaux is also in proximity to several museums and attractions, such as Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and Porte Dijeaux, a historic city gate built in the 1700s. The Garonne River is 14 minutes from the hotel, and your walk there, with a little detour, takes you past attractions such as Place du Parlement, Musée national des Douanes, and Place de la Bourse, which sits across the river and Miroir d'eau, one of the largest reflecting pools in the world.

The hotel offers five spacious guest rooms and fully equipped apartments, each reflecting the cozy and intimate atmosphere of this period building. The guest rooms have city or garden views, with the Elegance Balcony Rooms offering private terraces. Rooms are modern and traditional, with marble fireplaces, parquet flooring, and period-style molding. Of the five rooms, the Prestige  Suite St. Emilion offers an upgraded stay as it sleeps up to four and has a larger main bedroom and a winter garden with a stained-glassed window roof. The hotel also provides modern, fully-equipped apartments with city or courtyard views. The apartments have period-style and modern decor, with bits of contemporary furnishing and exposed, muted, or wall-papered walls. The Family Apartment and Loft are ideal options for an upgraded apartment stay as they sleep up to four and have separate living and sleeping spaces.

L'Hôtel Particulier Bordeaux offers a breakfast buffet in the period dining room or the comfort of your own room. You can also enjoy a massage and personalized treatment in your room when you want to indulge in a relaxing treat. The hotel also has a wine corner where you can choose from different wines and champagnes and enjoy a drink in the green outdoor space. For parking, the hotel has a partnership with Q-Park Clémenceau car park, which is located a 7-minute walk from the hotel, for reduced parking fares.

Supprisingly nice hotel that at one time must have been a grand chateau. The rooms were odd but added to the character of the place.
Right in the middle of center city Bordeaux.
Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Tons of restaurants and bars filled with people that enjoyed the area as much as we did.
