Overview
Maison Bord'eaux is a boutique hotel with a historical background that dates back to the 18th century. The property was originally a coaching inn that welcomed travelers and messengers crossing Bordeaux and, today, welcomes you. In addition to the stone building, a new modern extension to the hotel was built in 2020, featuring glass and steel components to give the property a modern touch. Maison Bord'eaux is nestled right across from the ruins of Palais Gallien, putting you just a minute away from this popular attraction. You'll also be two minutes away from the city's "golden triangle" and Marché de Lerme.
The rooms at Maison Bord'eaux offer simple comforts and attention to detail. Classic Roms feature a king or queen-sized bed and a modern bathroom. Superior Rooms are more spacious and cozy as they overlook the landscaped patio. Furnishings are modern yet simple, offering a comfortable and functional place to stay. Deluxe Rooms are brighter and more spacious, with light bedding and pops of color. For an upgrade, Deluxe Terrace Rooms have large private terraces overlooking the city or inner courtyard. If you'd like more space, you can also opt for the Deluxe Whirlpool and Terrace Room, with minimalist furnishing, large bay windows, and a Tropezian terrace overlooking the roofs of Bordeaux. This room also features a bathroom with balneotherapy and a walk-in shower.
Start your day with a breakfast buffet served under a sun-bathed glass roof, offering a selection of pastries, cheeses, and regional products. To unwind, head to the hotel's wine bar, where you can indulge in the region's famed vintages in a cozy atmosphere or by the pond in the inner courtyard. The hotel also provides iPads with information about the wines so you can learn about them while you enjoy them. If you're in the mood for something else, the hotel also serves gourmet afternoon tea to enjoy an assortment of teas and pastries made by local pastry chefs.
