ME Ibiza, Ibiza
Stylish waterfront hotel with two outdoor pools, a private beach area, two bars, and a restaurant
Overview
Kimkim's Take
- This hotel has an ideal location for relaxing, as you'll be directly on the beach, and many rooms offer sea views.
- There are two outdoor pools, one on the ground floor with big pine trees, sunbeds, and a path leading to the shore, and the other on the hotel's rooftop terrace.
- Families can book suites or connecting rooms, and the little ones can enjoy the fun kids' club with different activities.
- Relax in the spa with its treatment menu and water circuit, or spend some time in the gym and join a yoga class.
- There's one main restaurant serving traditional Mediterranean food, but you can also enjoy a more casual meal at the grill bar on the rooftop, which also hosts DJ sessions.
- The rooms are all pretty spacious, with a refined, bright, and airy aesthetic, and those wanting a little more poshness can book the ME+ rooms with sofas, large terraces, sea views, and private hot tubs or pools.
- Although this is a family-friendly hotel with a pool, beach, and kids' club, the only options accommodating more than two people are connecting rooms or the suites in the ME+ tier, which are a bit more expensive.
- The hotel maintains a relaxing vibe, but it's still a large property with 200 rooms, so you don't quite get that small, boutique feel. However, it does not feel like other large hotels and this little paradise is stress-free and relaxed!
Authenticity
As a Meliá property, ME Ibiza tries to create a stay that channels the destination. This location does a good job of keeping the decor and experience authentic to Ibiza, with sea views, locally sourced products in the restaurant, and cultural elements like DJ sessions, sunrise yoga classes, and traditional grilled seafood on the rooftop.Location
Enjoy a waterfront location with direct access to the beach at S'Argamassa. The views from the hotel are truly spectacular, overlooking the sea and rocky coastline, yet you'll be just a 10-minute drive from the main town and beach at Santa Eulalia. If you want to explore the area, a rental car or private transfer is best, as getting to spots like the beaches of Aigües Blanques and Cala Olivera takes about 20 minutes. For Ibiza Town's castle and medieval streets or getting to the airport, plan for closer to 30 minutes.Rooms & Bathrooms
All rooms are bright, airy, and refreshing with neutral colors, earthy tones, and natural textures, plus modern bathrooms, seating areas, and views of the gardens or sea. Upgraded units add perks like furnished balconies, spacious terraces, in-room soaking tubs, and/or dining areas. Some of these added amenities require booking in the ME+ tier, but those rooms also offer the option of sofabeds and private pools or hot tubs on the terrace.Other Highlights
You can relax in the outdoor pool area, surrounded by sunbeds, sun loungers, pine trees, and sea views, plus enjoy direct access to the beach. The hotel's beach area is perfect for swimming. There's also a wellness area with a gym (24/7), Thai spa treatments, and a water circuit. Enjoy drinks and grilled food at the rooftop terrace, complete with DJ sessions, or dine at the Origens Restaurant with its bohemian vibes and Mediterranean cuisine. There's also a kids' club, another pool on the rooftop (only for adults), and antigravity ,yoga and paddle yoga sessions.Like what you see?
