Moxy Bergen offers an eco-friendly lodging experience in the Solheimsviken part of Bergen. This sustainable hotel is across the water from the University of Bergen and a 10-minute walk from Nygårdsparken. You'll get a different experience here than in the more popular tourist zones, but keep in mind that major sites like Bryggen are a 30-minute walk, though you can take public transportation to shorten your trip to about 20 minutes.
The tech-savvy rooms at Moxy Bergen are designed to cater to the modern traveler. The motion-activated LED guide light below the bed and backlit glass panels add a cozy room ambience. Depending on your needs, you can choose from the Twin Room, Queen Room, or the spacious XL Room—all designed with functionality and style in mind. The Bar Moxy offers a selection of refreshing beverages, beers, wines, and signature cocktails. If you're feeling hungry, you can grab a bite from their menu featuring bar food like burgers, flatbreads, and nachos. Start your day with their breakfast buffet, which offers various hot and cold options, including vegetarian and gluten-free products. For fitness, the Moxy Gym is equipped with equipment like elliptical machines, exercise bikes, and free weights, or you could even brave a swim in Bergen's fjord.
