• The location is pretty ideal, right in the center of Ibiza Town and one block from the port and the city's park lined with hip restaurants and bars. 
• You can get to the castle and cathedral in just 15 minutes, enjoying the Old Town's streets and shops along the way. 
• The restaurant is a big highlight, open all day with a farm-to-table theme and a menu putting a twist on traditional Spanish tapas and dishes. 
• At the restaurant, you'll also find offers for a Sunday brunch, afternoon happy hour, live music, and a spirited bingo night each Wednesday.
• Enjoy sea and castle views from the rooftop terrace, which also houses the hotel's seasonal bar, Up, serving lighter fare and drinks. 
• Relax during the day at the outdoor pool, surrounded by sun loungers, fragrant orange trees, and lavender plants. 
• You can choose from rooms or suites, all with a light foundation and pops of colors, plus nods to the building's past with mid-century furnishings and wood paneling. 

Cons

• The hotel seemed a little noisy, even in the middle of the day when it wasn't too busy, and some of the rooms were starting to show signs of wear and tear. 
• Parking is available but quite expensive at €20 each day. 

Authenticity

Enjoy the signature look of Ibiza at The Standard, set in a simple, white building with curved Art Deco edges and a calming ambiance on the inside. The hotel's restaurant, Jara, serves farm-to-table cuisine and cocktails made from fresh, local ingredients. 

Location

The Standard has an excellent location for exploring all of Ibiza Town, as it's very central and not far from all the main sites. You'll be one block from the start of the port and just around the corner from the city's main park, lined with cafés, bars, and shops. The charming Old Town streets are just two minutes away, and the hilltop Castle of Ibiza is a scenic 15-minute walk.  

Rooms & Bathrooms

The rooms have a simple, white foundation enhanced with colorful textiles and warm wooden tones that channel the 1970s. All feature corner seating areas, big, modern bathrooms, and minibars. Upgrade to a suite for more space and perks like private balconies, in-room soaking tubs, and dining areas. The hotel also offers two units covering individual floors. The penthouse suite offers two bedrooms, two private terraces with rooftop pools, and a lounge area for entertaining. Or, you can book the three-bedroom suite and enjoy multiple bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a dining area. 

Other Highlights

The Standard's rooftop terrace offers an outdoor pool, castle views, and a seasonal eatery called Up. You can sip and dine under colorful umbrellas and with the scent of lavender plants and orange trees. Or, stay on the ground floor and head to Jara, the on-site restaurant that provides cocktails, local coffee, and farm-to-table dishes with regional products.
