The Wine House Hotel - Quinta da Pacheca, Douro Valley

Situated in the village of Cambes, The Wine House Hotel - Quinta da Pacheca is one of the most recognizable estates in the Douro Valley. The hotel's rooms are divided between the historic building and large barrels, which are exactly what they sound like. Barrel rooms face the vineyards and contain a bed, shower, and deck, offering wine lovers a one-of-a-kind experience. Rooms in the original manor are more traditional, with floral bedspreads and vintage furniture, and there are more modernly decorated room options as well. While children are welcome, the hotel's focus on wine and historic and romantic atmosphere makes it more suitable for couples or friends.
