The local guide was at times short-tempered and had little knowledge of some places.
The van provided for transport was old and was not fit for purpose. with no air-conditioning, wifi , music, or TV. Seats did not reclined and the leg room was inadequate .
All the hotels were below the 4 * level .
Overall, the holiday was Overpriced and did not meet the standard of holiday which was promised.

My husband and I had an amazing time in Morocco! The upfront planning was easy with Louis Shannon, his communication was clear and timely, and he has a great personality. I am a planner so I had done research before contacting kimkim which I found helpful, but you could easily leave it to them to plan. Our driver and guide, Younes Bouaid, was fantastic from start to finish! Younes was professional, fun, and became a friend during our travels. He had great tips and advice for each area we visited, the car was always clean, very comfortable, had great Wi-Fi, and he was a very safe driver. We tried to do 2-3 nights in each location so we could experience areas and not rush, we visited Marrakesh, Ouarzazate, Boumalne Dades, Merzouga (Sahara Desert), Fes, and Rabat. We enjoyed all the places we stayed, and the breakfast included was always delicious.

In Marrakesh we stayed at 72 Riad Living, loved it! Amazing Riad in the old town with a beautiful rooftop area and pool, the courtyard was really nice and very relaxing, the breakfast was always good and the dinner we had there was possibly our best meal of the trip, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The tours we did in Marrakesh were fun and very educational from a historic and cultural perspective. We did a 2-hour food tour with Moulay Rachid and an all-day tour with another wonderful guide. Definitely do a cooking class, we did ours at Cafe Clock and had a wonderful time. 4 nights.

In Ouarzazate we stayed at Kasbah Isfoula. Smaller boutique hotel with lovely rooms, nice bar and restaurant, fun artwork, and a pretty rooftop excellent for relaxing and enjoying view. I would not recommend the movie studio tour, the sets were not great, it is not like Universal Studios or other experience we have done. Also, the staff was very disinterested and bored. 1 night.

In Boumalne Dades we stayed at Auberge Chez Pierre. Beautiful area to visit, I wish we had more time there. The hotel is lovely and has a beautiful pool. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast we had at the restaurant was delicious. 1 night

In Merzouga (Sahara Desert) we stayed at the Luxury Camp Chebbi. The camel ride in was fun, tents were really nice, and the food was good. The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the music by the fire. By doing the 2 nights we were able to do an interesting tour to see how the Amazigh live, look for fossils, explore the geography, and visit the Gwana and hear a maalem group perform. One tip, if you would like wine at the camp I would recommend buying at the hotel and taking it in with you, half the price, or checking what the price is before going to the camp so you are not overcharged like we were (we did get a refund).

In Fes we stayed at Palais Amani, beautiful Riad on the outskirts of the old city. The courtyard was stunning, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast and enjoyed our dinner there. The room was spacious, and the rooftop area was very relaxing and has great views of the city and mountains. We also did the Hamam and a massage at the hotel and loved it! There is a cooking school that looked really nice as well. The tour we did with Fatima Zahra Hanafi was excellent and a real treat to have a female guide which is rare. We also had a delicious dinner at Riad Fes which also looked nice to stay at. The only thing we did not like on the tour was the tannery because of the smells. 3 nights.

In Rabat we stayed at Riad Kalaa, smaller Riad with a nice courtyard and rooftop with a small pool. The food was nice, and the room was spacious and comfortable. I also really liked the artwork and ambiance of the shared spaces. The sunset in Rabat was beautiful and enjoyed our brief time there. 2 nights.

Conveniently located to explore the old town and markets. Would highly recommend staying here.

In Fes we stayed at Palais Amani, beautiful Riad on the outskirts of the old city. The courtyard was stunning, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast and enjoyed our dinner there. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a super spacious room with its own private rooftop area. The room was really nice and the little extra attentions to detail were very nice. The overall rooftop was very relaxing and had great views of the city and mountains. Luxury Camp Chebbi
Merzouga

In Merzouga (Sahara Desert) we stayed at the Luxury Camp Chebbi. The camel ride in was fun, tents were really nice, and the food was good. The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the music by the fire. The one full day we were there they did not communicate they were doing some work on the tents and that we would need to go to the hotel for a few hours after our tour. This caused some confusion with our tour guide who in the end took us back to the camp so we could get a our swimmers for the pool at the hotel. Also, we were overcharged for wine the first night and only found out because we went to the hotel. We did receive a refund after we requested it. I am giving 3 stars because of the lack of communication, the overcharge and how the manager handled it, and the awkwardness both situations caused . Tip, if you would like wine at the camp I would recommend buying at the hotel and taking it in with you, half the price and no hassle.

We did a 2-hour food tour with Moulay Rachid and had a great time. We got acquainted with the markets and the main square and tried some yummy food. We visited a small street eatery run by a woman that served the harira soup and tried it dates and a sweet pastry, it was really good. We stopped at a fresh juice bar and at the olive market, both yummy, and then went to dinner and tried our first tagine in Morocco. Moulay was great fun and shared interesting insights with us.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed the atmosphere of the desert at night. We arrived by camel the first night and really enjoyed stopping and watching the sunset over the dunes before continuing on to camp. We were the only ones at camp that night and had a great meal and then enjoyed local music by the campfire, it was a really beautiful night. The second night there were more people which made it a bit more lively. The tents were really nice and while we were there they were upgraded the tents so I am sure they have only gotten nicer. I would definitely recommend doing at least one night in the desert.

We did a tour with Mohammed. He took us to have tea at a Amazigh camp, we then went to explore the diverse geography of the desert which included visiting an old mine and looking for fossils, and the highlight was visiting Khamleya and the Gwana to listen to a maâlem group perform music and dance. I highly recommend this tour so you can see what is like to live in the desert and experience the Gwana maalem music and dance.

A day of exploring Fes with our fabulous guide Fatima Zahra Hanafi. Fatima is 1 of 10 female tour guides in Fes which made our tour even more special. Fatima was very informative, had a great personality, and we felt like we had seen the old part Fes by the end of our tour. We visited Al Attarine Madrasa a 14th century school for Islamic studies, Aben Danan Synagogue, walked the Mellah district, visited Art de Poterie ACH where they make the beautiful mosaic tiles and pottery, walked the Medina with its narrow streets and different artisan areas including a rug shop that supports local woman artisans and a tannery, and saw the Royal Palace of Fes and Al Attarine Madrasa Mosque and University Kairaouine. I would highly recommend this tour and Fatima as a guide.

We had a nice time tasting wines at Château Roslane Boutique Hotel & Spa. The parts of the hotel we saw, including the beautiful pool which boarders the vineyards, were beautiful and the bar area where we tasted was very comfy. It was raining so we couldn't walk in the vineyards. After we tasted at the hotel we were taken on a tour of the winery and bought a few wines, much cheaper then buying in the hotel, from the little wine store in the winery. They had a really nice red but unfortunately it was sold out so only got to taste it. It would be a great place to stop and relax for a day or two.

We had a great time learning to cook traditional Moroccan dishes with Chef Chaouen including Zalouk, Harira, Tagine djaj m’kalli, Tagine b l’hout, and Blighat b t’mer. We were welcomed with coffee and tea and then went shopping in the local market. We all purchased spices and got to see the smaller, local shops. I recently had the pleasure of using the Kimkim website to plan my trip to the beautiful country of Morocco, and I must say, it was an experience like no other. I was lucky enough to have Abdel from Original Travels as my trip coordinator, and I can confidently say that he did an outstanding job. Abdel was extremely attentive to my preferences and provided me with expert recommendations that helped me plan an unforgettable trip. He was always prompt in responding to my queries and made sure that every detail was well-planned. Thanks to Abdel's exceptional planning and coordination, I was able to have a truly amazing and stress-free vacation in Morocco.

Before landing in Casablanca, I received a delightful message from our driver and tour guide, Samir. He provided us with a detailed set of instructions for our arrival, which put us at ease and made us feel welcome. During our trip, Samir proved to be more than just a driver. He was a knowledgeable and friendly guide who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time. His warm hospitality and efforts to make us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey were deeply appreciated. He treated us more like close friends than just tourists, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to accompany us on our travels. Samir's dedication and expertise allowed us to explore everything we desired to see and experience in Morocco, making it a memorable and delightful adventure.

During our trip to Fes, we were fortunate enough to have Charif as our local guide. His extensive knowledge of the area's history and culture added a whole new dimension to our tour. We spent our days exploring the bustling medinas and learning about the traditional craft of ceramic making. We also enjoyed shopping for unique souvenirs and immersing ourselves in the local culture. One of the highlights of our trip was attending the vibrant carpet show, a true feast for the senses. Charif's guidance and expertise truly made for an unforgettable experience in Fes.

Our journey to the Tiziri camp in the vast Sahara desert was nothing short of a thrilling adventure. We kicked off our experience with a camel ride that lasted for nearly two hours, led by our guide, Hassan. He was truly an expert in his field and made sure that our journey was comfortable and enjoyable at every step. He also took some breathtaking pictures of us and helped us find the perfect spot to watch the sunset, which was truly a sight to behold.

As we arrived at the Tiziri camp, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Moustafa, Ahmed, and the rest of the crew. They welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour of the camp, which was impeccably clean and eco-friendly. Our room was comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
The highlight of our day was the delicious dinner that was served to us. The food was absolutely amazing, and we enjoyed every bite of it. We were impressed by the hospitality and kindness of our hosts, who made sure that all our needs were met. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for a long time to come.

During our stay at Dar Rihanna Dades, we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of accommodation provided. The hotel manager, Mohammed, left an unforgettable impression on us with his warm and welcoming personality, friendly demeanor, and great sense of humor. He made us feel right at home and we enjoyed a delightful conversation with him after dinner. The hotel itself was stylishly designed, immaculately clean, and owned and operated by a family, which added a personal touch to our experience. The meals we had were absolutely delicious and we were highly impressed with the attentive and outstanding service provided by the staff. Overall, it was a truly magnificent stay that exceeded our expectations in every way possible.

During our trip to Marrakech, we had the pleasure of being guided by Mouhsine, who was our private tour guide for the walking tour of the Medina and bustling souks. He took us to some of the most popular landmarks, including the Djemaa el-Fna, central square, the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, and the Bahia Palace, giving us an insight into the city's rich cultural heritage. One of the most memorable experiences we had with Mouhsine was an immersive culinary journey that he took us on. During this tour, he led us to some of the most authentic traditional Moroccan food places, where we got to witness the preparation and cooking of the food. He also taught us how to eat like the Moroccans, which involves communal dining in Moroccan households. Our group thoroughly enjoyed this food tour, and Mouhsine did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and at ease. His knowledge of the local food and customs made the experience all the more enriching and enjoyable. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we are grateful to Mouhsine for showing us the best of Marrakech.

This is the first time we booked a vacation via KimKim and we mainly did it, for peace of mind when traveling with small kids. It was also our first trip to Morocco and we were all very excited about the fact that we were planning to visit more than one city, knowing everything was taken care of.

We had the same guide/driver, Hisham, throughout the trip and he made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire journey, as we went to Fes, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech.

There were many highlights, however I would very much like to name a few..
1. I loved the Riads in Fes and Marrakech... especially Riad Farouzi with its wonderful staff
2. The local guides in Fes and Casablanca... both very knowledgeable and interesting
3. The old Roman city in Volubilis, so very much different to rest of the Morocco we saw
4. But most of all I would like to highlight the fact that we were traveling during the last few days of the holy month Ramandan and the Eid al-Fitr and still we got the best tourguides that we could have asked for

We loved our local guide in Fes, who were our favorite. He knew a lot about the history and we learned about the history, the monarchy, politics, architecture and culture of Morocco. Especially the Jewish Quarter was very exicting. He was very kind to the kids and patient.

The guidede tour was very nice. I liked the red thread through out all of the Imperial Cities with the walls surrounding the medinas, the Jewish quarter, the king palaces etc. With the help from our guide I found some lovely carpets and we were invited to see places that we otherwise would not have found ourselves. Compared to Fes, we found Marrakech a bit overcrowded and touristic. However it was Eid and happy days.

Our driver, Reda, did a fantastic job navigating and preparing us each day. He was great with conversation and with listening to what we wanted. We would recommend him to anyone.

The KimKim team put together a great custom itinerary for us. They adapted to our time table and the things we wanted to see and put together a good balance given we had limited time.

Our last day wrapped up with Oussama taking us to the airport and explaining many of the sites and history along the way.

This arrangement can result in some people getting motion sickness from facing backwards. The people in Morocco were very friendly. The hotel in Casablanca was very good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating: Barcelo Anfa. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. The riads were just okay. Very nice looking, but not very well insulated from outside noises on the street and we were awoken each early morning (about 2:30 am and 5 am) by the call to prayer as it was Ramadan. Breakfasts at the riads were just okay; mostly a lot of different breads with yogurt and some fruit. Tour of Fes medina was very interesting. Other medinas were nice but very repetitive. The cooking class was very long; approximately 4 hours. The instructor was very nice, but it was too long. Would have preferred a food tour, but that was not available due to Ramadan. Tour of Volubulis was very interesting. Would have liked to spend more than 1 hour. We would not do the hammam again. We were sent in without a change of under garments or swimsuits, no one spoke English inside the hammam and it was bit awkward trying to figure out what to do and when it was finally complete.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent trip to Morocco. I appreciate the opportunity to address your comments.

I’m glad to hear that you felt your driver Younes was accommodating to your family. I certainly hope that none of you felt sick in the vehicle due to the seating arrangement. We make sure to have newer, spacious vehicles for all of our trips, and the facing seating arrangement is designed to encourage a social atmosphere on the trip. We have never heard any complaints about it in the past, but I appreciate you bringing it up. In regard to the amount of driving, on the trip plan that is shared with you during the planning process and the final trip plan that you confirm, the estimated drive time is listed on each day to give you an indication of how the trip will go.

I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed your time in the hotel in Casablanca and that you felt they had a good breakfast. I am sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your time in the traditional riads. These accommodations are historical buildings located in the medinas, which are the busiest and most energetic areas of the cities. Due to the condensed nature of these areas, they can be noisier than more remote hotels outside of the historical areas. This is the first time we have had anyone mention being awoken by to the call to prayer though, so we are quite surprised.

Riads also serve traditional Moroccan breakfasts which consist of numerous freshly made breads, along with yogurt, fresh fruit, and olive oil. These are typically the best, homemade breakfasts you can have in Morocco aside from enjoying a meal at a local’s home, so we are quite surprised that you didn’t enjoy them. The riads can typically accommodate additional options when asked, so I wish we would have known that you were not pleased with the breakfasts during the trip so we could have made adjustments in the moment.

It’s so good to hear that your private guided Fes Medina tour was interesting. You mentioned that the other medinas were repetitive. It is common in most cities where locals live that there are similarities between them as the basic necessities are all there. I hope that despite the similarities you enjoyed experiencing the uniqueness of each location and learned more about Moroccan culture.

My apologies for not explaining that the cooking class would take that long for you to prepare your meals from scratch. I do appreciate your flexibility in doing this substitute activity instead of the guided food tour.

I’m sad to hear that you didn’t enjoy your hammam visit. In our final email to you with the final trip documents, we did go over your need to bring a change of clothes. This is usually a highlight of trips for our travelers, and, unfortunately, you didn’t enjoy the experience.

Speaking of the final email that we sent, we also included some information about the luggage porters that could help you get your luggage from the gates of the medina to your accommodations and how much they cost. We were displeased to hear that you insisted on only paying the porter who assisted you 50 cents and that your driver had to cover the difference with his own money because the porter was so insulted.

While I wish that you would have enjoyed your trip more, I do appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. We always work hard to provide all the information that we can to our travelers before their trips and make sure that everything within our control is planned in detail. There are always areas we can improve, and I will share your feedback with my team. I hope that overall, your Moroccan experience was great for your family, and I appreciate you choosing us to plan your trip.

Highlights of the trip included knowledgable guides in Marrakech, Fes and Rabat for the souks and landmarks; a most memorable Tagine cooking class in Marrakech; an amazing 4-hour sunset camel ride in the Sahara desert, pottery making and tile tour in Fes; and so much more…. The accommodations in Riads, as well as in a tent in Merzouga were quite nice overall. Will definitely be using KimKim in the future!

Great tour of Morocco’s varied landscapes and cities. Sallam was an excellent driver, guide and in house historian. He made an extra effort to help us understand and appreciate Berber history and culture and Islamic traditions and practices. Morocco is a very welcoming country for Americans but Sallam is well known in his own right and everyone was happy to see him and this was extended to us. Thanks to Saede for his fabulous tour of Fez and the Medina. Plan on bringing an empty suitcase because it hard to resist all of the wonderful handmade crafts, rugs and leather goods!

I wanted to have this feeling of visiting a country I knew nothing about and be amazed with everything I see. Ali from Original Travels helped me get exactly that. He designed a trip where I was able to experience a bit of many places and I can not be more grateful to him. Everything flowed so well, and our guide/driver Ayoub just made it perfect. He was knowledgeable, attentive and on time. I didn’t have many extra requests but he always reminded me to let him know if I needed to stop at a certain place or if I needed extra time to explore. He became a friend and will miss the jokes and the interesting conversations about his country and culture. Our accommodations were incredible and the food at family restaurants while traveling from one city to another was just so good! Every place I visited had an impression on me I will never forget. People in Morocco are one of the nicest and respectful people I’ve know and I will be back. Hope Original Travels is still around when it happens because my trip with them was simply perfect. Thank you Ali, Ayoub, city guides and everyone in every Riad, tourist site, rest., cafe that welcomed us so kindly to Morocco. See you guys soon!❤️

Extremely well-organized trip for our family of five (which later became seven after our elderly parents joined us in the last third of the trip). KimKim (through Original Travels) organized a fabulous two week itinerary for us and arranged our transport and lodging. At several locations, KimKim also set up local English-speaking guides, most of whom were amazing and provided a chance to chat with locals.

The family's highlight was visiting the desert. The kids loved sandboarding and riding the camels. We on our own would never have been able to comfortably visit such a location with young children. This is where the expertise of a company like KimKim comes into play. We drove from Casablanca to the desert over the course of several days, stopping at Chefchaouen, Volubilis and Fez. Upon our arriving near the desert camp, KimKim arranged for a local guide to show us some of the communities that lived on the edge of the desert.

My personal favorite was our stay at a magnificent riad in Skoura, an oasis town on the south side of the Atlas mountains where we enjoyed the most memorable meal ever. I would have loved to have lingered in this town. So much to see and experience in this vast, beautiful country.

We spent a lot of our two weeks with Tarik our stellar English-speaking driver as we crisscrossed the country. He did a magnificent job transitioning our seven member group from place to place. He was also able to answer our many questions as well as set up dinners, one with music, adding depth to our experience. As an experienced tour driver, Tarik knew where to buy the best dates for example. He bought his own box and we our own and we couldn't agree more--the best dates! Tarik was friendly, flexible and able to adapt quickly to our group's varied needs.

La Maison Arabe Hotel
Marrakech

I loved this hotel, a very close second after my favorte Ksar El Kabbaba Kaspa & Spa. La Maison Arabe has beautifully appointed rooms and good food and music. Wonderful ambiance. Not our best meals in Morroco but very, very good. The heated pool was a super plus for our children. The stairs were a bit hard for our elderly parents but the staff were lovely and helpful with bags etc. We did not take advantage of the sister country club but in warmer weather, it may be a very enticing benefit. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful riad and great location. The kids' room was spacious and clean. They appreciate the English books in their room and we found a photo documentary book which was especially good. Our room was appointed in a West-African style. The hotel generally has a quirky design vibe rather than classic "Morrocan" decor. The breakfast was great and dinner was solid. The dining space is intimate and cozy. Felt very much taken care of and at home.

Our room was on the top floor and had a lot of privacy which was nice. It space felt carved out or repurposed into a guest room which was fun for us but it had a lot of steps which would not be appropriate for older guests or young children.
Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa
Essaouira

We were originally supposed to stay at the Le Medina Essaouira Thalassa Sea and Spa near Essaouira's medina. It was on our itinerary but for some reason, maybe error, we were in fact, booked at the sister Sofitel hotel, the Mogador Golf& Spa located ten minutes away. Maybe when our party grew from five to seven at Marrakesh, we no longer all fit at the original lodging and a new reservation was created but this change had not been communicated to me or to Tarik our driver. We drove up to the Thalassa Sea and Spa only to find we had no reservation there. So, we drove to the Sofitel Mogador Golf & Spa. For families who love golf this may be a good place but the Mogador Golf & Spa itself is in need of serious repairs, both structural and general maintenance, and is in need of more staffing. Presumably, the current price is lower to reflect these issues but the resort missed the mark on some basics. When the hotel opened in 2015, I suspect it was truly beautiful. The lobby and grounds have been kept up meticulously, but the water damage in the upper floor where we stayed is frankly, quite bad. The walls and ceilings of our hallway showed extensive cracking and peeling; in fact, there was even water leaking into a bucket outside our room! Stranger still, one of the doors that led to an outdoor bridge which connects two guest wings did not close properly and the door to the opposite side was missing entirely. Our kids were housed in this separate, second wing. Without immediate remediation, the building will suffer from mold and possibly major structural issues. The hotel room itself was nicely designed but also in need of basic maintenance. The multiple sliding doors in our room did not slide smoothly. One sliding door which was intended to act as a privacy screen to the shower area, did not, in fact, move. Upon inspection, it had come off its rails. The hair dryer in our room was broken and the bath tub in our parents' room did not function--though a call to the repair man fixed the issue. The beds were on the hand, super clean. These minor 'glitches' alone were not a problem, but in the aggregate, add up to a not-so-stellar impression. The spa being closed was also an issue, especially for our parents who were looking forward to soaking in a tub. So, in the end, we opened up a bottle of wine and sat on the veranda and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The Mogador Golf & Spa is located in a somewhat desolate area, away from the medina about a ten minute car ride. If we enjoyed golf, or the temperature were warm enough to use the multiple pools, or the spa were open, it is conceivable that a guest would not feel the need to leave. However, with the spa being closed and it not being quite warm enough for us to swim, we would have much preferred to be near the medina. The Mogador Golf & Spa does operate a shuttle bus to the medina, but the last run to the medina ended at 5pm (perhaps because of Ramadan.) The resort's immediate surrounding area does not have restaurants, so guests are stuck eating at the hotel, which sadly did not have the best food. Luckily for us, we had Tarik who graciously drove our group to the medina for dinner and back. To put some of the things into perspective, we stayed during a transition time before peak tourist season. It seemed to me however, that the resort had not adjusted its staffing fast enough to accommodate an increasing flow of guests. The breakfast area for example was disorganized as there were not enough people to set up and clear tables. Compounding the issue were things like non-functioning juice dispensers. Because the juice dispenser would clog, a staff person would need to stand nearby and manually pour out juices to the guests, taking him away from clearing tables and setting up tableware. I suspect this pattern applied to other instances in the hotel's operations. Is any of this the end of the world? Of course not, but I don't recommend putting guests here unless its warm enough to use the outdoor pool or at least to make sure that the spa is working. The resort's far distance from the medina, is simply not worth the other things the hotel presently, can offer.

We enjoyed the best meals in our entire trip here. The dinner was amazing as was the breakfast. Everything from the pigeon? (chicken) to the yogurt in the breakfast. The dining room was very elegantly appointed with a stately feel with high backed chairs. Staffing was extremely attentive. I would have loved to have had more time to stay here and explore Skoura. The pool is not heated so at end of March, it was a touch too chilly for kids to enjoy though they tried.

Terrific views and the food was very elegantly prepared and tasty. One of our favorite meals, coming in second after our meal at Ksar Kabbaba Kasba in Skoura. This place had the best service striking the balance between being attentive but not hovering. The rooms each has a theme. We were in the Monaco room and the kids in the Istanbul room. Hotel is short fifteen minute walk away from the medina. The hotel is located on a steep slope so there are a lot of stairs before reaching its entrance but there are porters to help.

Authenticity & Character
Welcome tea in garden was quite nice. Our rooms each had a balcony to enjoy the morning and sunset views.
Location
Beautiful views of the village and surrounding mountains but the hotel itself is perched on a steep hill so there are many, many stairs before one even reaches the hotel. The porters carry the bags for you but for older people, the climb would be too hard. Luckily, our parents had not yet joined our trip.
