My cousin and I used Kimkim for our trip to Morocco. We both are busy and don’t like being the planners so we went with this company after searching and reading reviews, and we are so glad we did. They planned our entire trip with a private driver, hotel stays, tours, and other adventures. We stayed in six cities, so it would have been a lot of research, but with kimkim they planned it all, tailoring it to our preferences. Faissel, our private driver, was the absolute best. He felt like a friend from day one and treated us as if he had known us for years. We had complete faith and trust in him. He provided cultural information, answered our questions, pointed out information we might not know, and gave us space when we were tired. Our trip was the experience we wanted and there is no way we could have planned this without the use of a travel company like kimkim. Highly recommend and would use again.

My parents had always dreamt of going to Morocco and now that they're in their 70s we wanted to make that dream come true.

Before the trip, Said was excellent in working with us to modify the trip details to accommodate them. He always communicated back right away.

When they arrived in Morocco, they were met by their driver, Karim. He spoke English well and was knowledgeable and nice. He made them feel comfortable throughout the trip.

The hotels that were selected were great and many of them were beautiful. The tours they took were fantastic to see the sights. They also enjoyed their own time wandering around the cities.

My dad said this trip was everything he ever dreamed of and was very happy he got the experience. My siblings and I were happy they had the opportunity to go and could have peace of mind knowing there was someone nearby who could help them if they needed it.

Megan and team were fantastic to work with throughout our booking experience and were available for any questions or changes we had with our itinerary.
Perfectly balanced as we truly felt we experienced Morocco. Rabat-the Blue City-Fes-Sahara-Marrakech-Essaouia.

Our driver Ilyace was punctual always. Great English speaker. Very knowledgeable and always, always helpful. Took us to some very good eating places while on the road and also arranged for a great guide (Hannan) in Marrakech. We shortened Ilyace to “Ace” because we liked him so much. While on the road, if we wanted an outing booked, Ace was on the phone to Said and job done. The Riads were opulent. In all, very pleased with the total KimKim performance. Thanks to all.

Our local specialist Hakim was very efficient and attentive during our planning process and during our trip.
Our driver/guide, Hakim Hamzawi, was also wonderful. He helped us navigate some very difficult circumstances during our trip, and was very flexible and resourceful. He is a lovely, compassionate man with excellent language skills.

From the beginning of planning this trip, Yassine (our trip coordinator) was a huge help. We were able to tailor our trip to our interests and experience unique adventures that we will never forget. Yassine was able to listen to our desires, make great recommendations, and explain the small nuances that really helped up navigate another country and be prepared for all of our events.

Our private driver, Hamza was along with us for the entire 12 days. This was a first time experience for us with an international trip, and how amazing it was. He was not just a driver, he was a point person that was able to help with any in country concerns/accommodations. He went out of his way to make sure all of our needs were met, we really felt taken care of while he was with us. Even more so, we got to know him over the 12 days of our vacation and we truly felt like we made a friend in Morocco. We know that our trip was so special with many thanks to Hamza.

We also had amazing tour guides during this trip, I’d especially like to mention that Hamid (our guide in Fez), and Hassan (our guide in Marrakech), were both knowledgeable, friendly, and of great assistance with navigating not just the medinas, but the culture in Morocco. If we told them there was something we were interested in purchasing, they both really went out of their way to help us with finding high quality products and with the negotiation process that many vendors use.

I loved every part of this trip, I have built memories and relationships that I will never forget. I am so grateful to Kimkim for being a company that I trust (as I’ve worked with Kimkim 2 times in the past) and offering me access to these wonderful experiences.

The staff here really make a difference! They are very willing to help and make recommendations in the complex Medina of Marrakesh. This hotel provides an app on your phone that allows you to navigate the Medina without needing WiFi or data. This was a really unique accommodation, it had a very authentic and traditional vibe. The staff were very friendly and a huge compliment to the chef. The meals provided here were hands down some of the best we had in Morocco! The name, Paradise of Silence, is very fitting. This place is tucked away in a way that helps you feel connected to nature while in comfort. You really did get to hear all the sounds that you never noticed before, from the wind to the trees, it was just magical.

We had a marvelous time on our tour of Morocco. The driver kalil who was with us during our stay was Amazing. He was very professional, patient protective and fun. On every stop we had local guides who were knowledgeable and made the stops interesting. We were 4 travelers really enjoyed our trip in a private comfortable air-conditioned van.We had lots of room and we managed to stop at several places we liked along the way. Overall great tour. I Would recomend a few things for potential tourists. Don't stay at the gorge unless u plan to hike . I would have driven straight to Benn Haddou a wonderful place with great Riad and or an extra day at a road in the Atlas.mountains.or. Marrakesh.the coolest city in Morocco.

Our guide in Morocco was Ilyace and he was outstanding. He had a firm grasp of English, extremely competent, and a pleasure to be around. He facilitated everything we wanted and needed him to do. Without question, we would request Ilyace when we return to Morocco. No hesitation.

Mohanad and Hanna were our city guides in Fez and Marrakech respectively. Both were great and very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful tours and experiences. Definitely a plus to have a guide from the individual city to explain all the nuances and sights that there is to see and experience..

I felt very safe and comfortable traveling the countryside with my assigned driver Yassine. There were countless highlights along the way. I ventured into the blue labyrinth of Chefchaouen. I gazed upon fields of wheat, poppy and roses. I walked amongst the hustle and bustle in the city medinas. I soared above mountains at sunset in a hot air balloon. I drank the culture in large gulps with the help of Rashid and Abdul, 2 very knowledgeable guides I met along the way.

We had the experience of a lifetime in Morocco. Megan put together a fantastic trip plan and ensured our satisfaction with every element. The highlights for me were the city of Chefchaouen and the Sahara, although our stay in Marrakech at Es Saadi Palace was pretty sweet and made for a perfect ending to the perfect trip.
Unforgettable moments included having tea with a Berber nomad woman named Fatima while on the road to Merzouga as well as meeting and sharing a meal with a Berber family. In the Sahara simply sitting under the stars in the dessert was magical. And of course retiring to our luxury tent at the end of the night was pretty awesome as well.
Our driver Hassan was the absolute best person I could ever imagine spending these 11 days with. He was always looking for ways to make our trip memorable while ensuring our safety and he also showed many kindnesses to the people we encountered as well as to us. We feel we forged a true friendship with him.
I am so grateful we were able to connect with such great people who delivered a trip beyond our expectations.

We enjoyed a 10 day private tour planned by Megan and the tour with Hassan Amraoui. The very best combo! The perfect plan was pulled together by Megan and the best driver Hassan made for a fabulous vacation. We were 2 friends meeting in Morocco for a girls trip to explore the country, and from cities to hammams, to sand dunes and tents, we enjoyed every single thing. High points were definitely sand dunes and the luxury camping at Wanderlust Camp, and we loved Marrakech! We were even sad saying goodbye to our new friend Hassan when we left, he took such great care of us the entire way, we felt very lucky to have toured with Hassan. Cannot thank Megan enough for all her careful planning and to Hassan for the amazing friendship formed on the 10 day tour, we will definitely be back in Morocco and highly recommend working with Megan, Hassan and the team at Wanderlust.

Fez Marrakesh and Essoiria most memorable. Driver ,Fez guide and Food guide in Marrakesh were great. Tents and camps in Sahara were miserable but hotel there was excellent. Probably we should have been notified Ramadan would mean many things closed. No other concerns. Great trip

The most memorable I think was the Camel trek to the campsite. The local guides was extremely knowledgeable also and gave us insight about Morocco. Our guide for ten days Amnay was very accommodating to all our needs. He’s very nice and fun. He made our trip easier and answered all our questions. I would recommend him and driver Waleed to anyone visiting Morocco. We give you 10 stars!!

I decided not to read up about Morocco beforehand as I had some preconceived ideas about the country after reading various WWII accounts. The ideas got blown away and I came away with a different perspective and understanding of the country and the great people. The landscape changed continuously and much comparable with our western USA. This immersive package is really the way to go, but some caution in that it is a rigorous trip and one should be prepared for a lot of walking and up and down steps. Fortunately we were all fit for it. The accommodations were particularly interesting and beautiful and added to the cultural experience. Ayman and Waleed looked after us and our safety was never in doubt. Overall a great vacation with many memories and photos

What a wonderful, wonderful trip we had in Morocco. While we only had three nights, we really made the most of it and our wonderful guide was so great at ensuring we got where we were supposed to both safely as well as giving us a ton of information and history. Our guide was Ahmed Oussidi and he really was terrific. In Chefchouen we stayed at the darling Dar Laman riad and just loved it. Our room was so comfortable and the deck upstairs was a perfect place to unwind after a long day. In Fes we stayed at the AMAZING Riad Salam Fes and I can’t say enough about this place. It is like a Moroccan palace and the staff was wonderful. Our guide was Kamal and he was the best guide of our trip. We learned so much visiting the Royal Palace, Ceremic factory and most of all the Medina. I can’t recommend him enough. Finally we arrived in Tangier and stayed at the Hotel Fredj which was very nice and central. Can’t wait for my next trip with KimKim. Thank you.

This place was so charming, and such a relief from the hot day we were having. Our room was just delightful with a small sitting area, and the host was able to keep my mom and I on the ground floor, which minimized the stairs she had to require. We also loved the deck at the rooftop where we were able to have our dinner as well as our breakfast in the morning. The family who runs this riad were so kind and we really enjoyed our stay.

There are not enough words to describe the beauty of this riad. It was four houses that were combined to become one large riad and the interior is absolutely spectacular. In addition to a lovely large courtyard and beautiful, reflecting pool there is also a rooftop deck that overlooks the city. Our rooms were incredibly comfortable and we really enjoyed our meals there as well. Highly highly recommend this for anyone.

We really enjoyed our tour of Chefchouen however, it was quite hot and the nature of the town and all of the stairs did make it a bit difficult for my mother to maneuver. Our guide was very kind and didn’t have so much about the town, and went out of his way to find a return to our Riyadh that had less steps. Really enjoyed this.

We had a private, two-person tour. We had a single driver for the whole trip, and specialty guides in each place. Everything was taken care of. Our trip was Casablanca->Volubilis->Fes->Rabat->Marrakech. First, our driver Mohamed, was such a decent and mature young man who drove us around the city and was available whenever we needed him. He was such good company, especially on the drives between cities. Even after the trip, we miss him. Our guide in Volubilis was very knowledgeable. We had a guide for two days in Fes, another Mohamed. We bonded with him immediately and it was like a good friend showing us around his favorite city. In Marrakech, we had Ismail as our guide who was an encyclopedia of knowledge. Between the two guides and our driver, we learned so much about the history of Morocco and it’s culture, including everyday family life. Megan arranged really interesting 5 star hotels for us in every place. I will say, the stay at the Royal Mansour at the end was a fabulous escape from reality (for us). Even though they really do cater to the rich and famous, they made us feel perfectly welcome and ensured we were happy and completely comfortable. Do splurge and stay there for a treat you’ll never experience again! I am so happy we found Megan and her company, Wanderlust Voyages, to arrange our trip. Her company seems to have a good sense of people’s character as everyone she arranged for us was decent, smart and a pleasure to be around. I’ve never had a better experience with a tour company.

Our trip was amazing. Sharon and our driver Rafiq met our every need. My one and only complaint is the tipping situation. Every person (other than Sharon and our drivers) we encountered expected a tip. And, if they didn’t get the tip they expected they were visibly unhappy. Some even mumbling and stomping away. The tipping is out of control. We believed we had paid for everything in advance and did expected small tips for porters. But did not understand why tour guides and sales people expected tips.

Didn’t stay here because they were having water issues. Stayed at Riad Dar Chrifa. Dar Chrifa was excellent. The host Michael (Toufal) was fantastic. He gave us info on Morocco, some of its customs and culture. He graciously attended to our every need and made us feel at home with his hospitality and humor. He is a real asset for Riad Dar Chrifa.

My husband wasn’t feeling well. We told the guide we wanted to shorten the tour. He was very flexible and followed our wishes. At the end of the tour we tipped him an amount we thought was appropriate. He stomped away mumbling. It was obvious he was not appreciative of the tip we had given.

Our original driver, Rafiq, needed to leave us for another job. He introduced us to our driver for this last day in Morocco, Sallam. Sallam was great! He made our last day wonderful. And Rafiq checked in with Sallam to be sure we were well taken care of.

Our trip to Morocco was pretty amazing. Morocco is a fascinating country with rich culture. We planned our trip to Morocco as a "rout trip" to visit the country and city where my mom was born. Sharon from Morocco Immersion, (through KimKim), did an amazing job in planning our trip. Sharon took into consideration every information given to her and catered the trip based our requests. We visited Casablanca, Fes, Riad, Chefchaouen and Marrakesh. Sharon and her team thought of everything and made this trip really special.
It was very important for us to experience the culture and architecture, Sharon booked Riads that were beautiful and cozy.
Our driver, Hicham, was one of the key factors to the success of our trip. Hicham, which means - generous, stays true to his name. He was not only a great driver, but a generous, great person, a warm and knowledgeable. He was there to help us with anything we needed. Hicham loves to take selfies and we took a lot of them... Sharon made sure to communicate with Hicham that we wanted to visit the house my mom grew in, and through the local guide Hicham made it happen. Another thing that made this trip special is the fact the Sharon uses local guides in every city. This makes the experience so much special. we felt that we learned from the "locals" and in a way we experienced the local life. Every city we visited has its own charm, and they all were fascinating, beautiful and very unique.
