Hakim planned a fantastic visit to Morocco! The trip was very well planned, and we covered a lot of ground very comfortably, visiting all of the major cities/sights. The driver was wonderful, and we had excellent guides in each of the locations we visited. `We especially enjoyed the Sahara experience, and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the tent was and how good the food was. All of the hotels were lovely. I recommend Hakim very highly, and am so glad that we found kimkim. I will definitely contact kimkim to help plan future vacations!

We had extremely high expectations, and the hotel did not disappoint. Excellent location, and beautiful throughout with a lovely garden and very nice spa. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Stunning bar with live entertainment.The only negative was the exceedingly expensive restaurants. We enjoyed dinner in the Asian restaurant one night and my daughter ordered a very costly sea bass dish, which did not include anything with it. She ordered a side of white rice which cost $14US.

I’d wanted to visit the beautiful country of Morocco 🇲🇦 for years, so I decided to work with KimKim to plan and book my trip. I normally plan and book all my trips on my own, but since I wasn’t too familiar with the country (or the languages), and after doing extensive research on tour companies, I chose KimKim to plan my tour.

I was very pleased with how the planning of the tour went, thanks to Said, the booking manager. They made the planning process very easy, and even though it was high-season, still managed to book most of my first-choice hotels and riads. We had ongoing communication regarding places of interest, sites, culture, and activities until Said had designed a perfectly curated tour to my liking.

My driver for the trip, Soufiane, exceeded all expectations. He went above and beyond what I expected, always making sure I was enjoying the trip, and whenever something needed adjusting, he quickly responded. His driving was very good, always a positive attitude and spoke English well…oh, and also has great taste in music! :). During the trip, I decided to skip a city in order to have more time in Marrakech, so Soufiane drove me 10+ hours to make it happen. Moreover, he invited me to his home to have dinner with his amazing family, which was an unforgettable experience. In the beginning he was my driver, but by the end, considered him a dear friend. Did I mention he carried my luggage up 150 steps? When you travel to Morocco, you’ll find the country is quite beautiful, but the genuine hospitality of its people is what I found to be the lasting memory of my journey.

My tour started in Casablanca. The Hassan II mosque is quite impressive and well worth seeing (day and at night), but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a day or 2. We then essentially made a big clockwise loop which included: Rabat, Chefchaouen (the blue city), Fes, Merzouga, Marrakech, Essaouira and a very fun day trip to Imsouane, then back to Casablanca. I loved it all, but if I had to choose, I’d say Chefchaouen, the camel ride in the Sahara (Merzouga) and Marrakech were my top 3 favorites.

The local guides (for the city tours) were all pretty good. Some spoke English better than others. Notable guides were Latvi (Chefchaouen), Mohammed (Fes), and another Mohammed (food tour in Marrakech).

Hotels / Riads:

Overall, the hotels and riads were nice, but I liked some better than others. The top 3 favorites were Dar Jasmine (Chefchaouen), Riad Nyla Wellness and Spa (Marrakech) and Palais Amani (Fes). Dar Jasmine was special due to it’s location and epic views of Chefchaouen, and the unbelievably clean Nyla with it’s fantastic service, staff and breakfast was definitely a highlight.

Wonderful adventures! Our guide, Karin was so knowledgeable and personable! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the experience! I loved riding through the desert on a camel and the sunrise there!

This trip was truly one of the most memorable trips I've ever been on. I normally research and book tours on my own but booking through kimkim was the best decision we could've made for our visit to Morocco. It was the most relaxed I've ever felt on a vacation knowing that our itinerary was already planned out for us.

From beginning to end, our driver Ismael made sure that we were safe on the roads as we visited multiple cities. He was also very accommodating in our outing and a few schedule changes that came up. When we wanted to dine somewhere he knew just the places that we would like which put us all at ease at not having to research ourselves. Highly recommend Ismael to be your driver.

In terms of the tours, all of them were really great as well. The guides are very knowledgeable, especially our guide in Fes (can't remember his name) and Yousef in Marrakech. They brought both great conversation and humor into our tours. Yousef even extended our tour for an hour after my friends and I got a late start to our day which was extremely kind of him and shows how much he cares to share his culture with tourists.
Favorite city to visit was Fes.
Favorite riad was Dar al Medina Al Kadima in Fes. The decor inside was stunning.
Favorite restaurants were Nouba and Buddha Bar in Marrakech.
Favorite club was 555 in Marrakech.

Fantastic time! Our guide's name was Karim from Original Travels, and he was excellent. Completely fluent in English and very well versed on the areas we visited, we felt like we were in the very capable hands of an expert. Plus, he was super-friendly with us, versatile and spontaneous. Whenever we asked him to stop at a place along the way, he'd do it and explain what was special about it. Memorable activities ranged from climbing to the fortified granary atop Ait-Ben-Haddou to the excellent camel trek to outfitting ourselves in traditional Berber gear to stopping on the side of the road to wonder about the Giant Milkweed plant. We would definitely recommend anybody to work with Karim and Original Travels in the future. It was easy, friendly, informative, and fun!

The best part of this place was of course trekking with the camels to it. However once we were there, the people there made probably the best food we've eaten here in Morocco. It was outstanding fare. Also, standing in the dunes the next morning to watch the sun come up over the sand was incredible. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the staff this hotel. Yes, the rooms were great, and so was the food. But every single person on the staff that I met, bar none, was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely excited to serve us and help us, especially the front desk crew but also the bar/restaurant team.

The longest day overall, but this was my favorite part of the trip - great roadtrip sights and ended with a camel trek through the desert. You can't beat that.

There wasn't a time we felt Karim would not do the right thing, he was on-time, helpful, and a great driver. It was clear he could handle any kind of mountain, desert, rain, sun driving with lots of traffic or little.

Our trip to Morocco was fantastic. Our guide and driver Yassine was engaging, fun and very reliable…we would definately recommend. Our Guide in Fes, Said, was absolutely first rate. Also, Bob in Dades valley was also totally great. His suggestion of a local hike in Boumalde Dades was far superior to the planned hike in Rose valley and should be offered to future travelers.. the hotels selected by Sharon had just the right balance of comfort and authenticity and the balance of free time was perfect. Our time in Marrakesh was enjoyable but we would suggest three improvements: the guides choice of lunch locations ( which we passed on) was a clear tourist trap and should be avoided. We got very little advice on where to find finer shops vs more touristy locations and we decided on our own to visit Le Jardin Majorelle and surrounding area ( it should definately be suggested on the itinerary.

Our joys were many and our complaints few…thank you Sharon for setting up a great trip.

Touring Morocco is an amazing experience! Our English speaking guide, Karim, proudly showed us so many aspects of his country. Over 10 days we visited beautiful Chefchaouen, ( the blue city), the wonderful medina of Fez, drove through stunning mountains and gorges, shopped in the markets of Marrakech and highlight of all - rode camels into the sunset in the Sahara. The desert camp experience is not to be missed! Karim is very experienced, warm, friendly, professional and an expert driver. He was able to give us local knowledge and insight just not found in the guidebooks. Our local guides were also knowledgeable and professional, especially our Fez guide. We thoroughly recommend Kimkim Morocco.

Our trip to Morocco was amazing!!! The itinerary Megan made for us was just what we were looking for. Our driver Mustapha was very friendly and accommodating to our needs (frequent bathroom breaks during the road trip for one). All of the Dars and Riads we stayed were nice, clean and had very friendly staff. Most memorable for me will be our visit to Rissani since this was my first time admiring in person the wonders of a dessert. Megan was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had prior to our trip. There were some changes regarding our assigned driver upon arrival to Morocco but we were able to contact Megan and got things resolved rather quickly. Shout out to Rahim and Abdul from Dar Victoria, Mohammet from our vineyard visit in Meknes, Brahim from Riad Mourzuga, Mohammet our guide in Marrakech and as previously mentioned Mustapha our driver and Megan of course. We had an amazing time in Morocco with our guide Aziz , who was always punctual and communicated well, and answered all our questions about local life in Morocco. Spending the night in the Merzouga desert under the sky full of stars was a beautiful memory that will last me a lifetime. I also enjoyed seeing the contrast between landscapes and lifestyles in Marrakesh, Taghazout and the desert.

The overall trip was excellent, our tour Director Mr Sayeed coordinated our whole tour nicely

One of the best vacation trip so far and we got to thank the KimKim team involved for it.



Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Faysal and we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had a great 9 days tour from Casablanca to Chefchaouen, Fes, Aït Benhaddou and finally to Marrakesh.



Faysal is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). We truly enjoyed the driving and the cities/places were we visit. The sceneries were beautiful and it was a relieve to have a designated driver/friend to help us explore some parts of Morocco. Faysal went above and beyond to not only guide us during the day to the planned places but also make sure we were taken care outside of his working hours (at night) to take us to places that we would like to visite such as nice hookah lounges in Fes and restaurant in Marrakesh (a huge thank you for that!).



The trip accommodations were so special that it really felt like home to both of us. All respect for Abdellah who did a great job planning our trip.

We had an absolutely amazing trip, from start to finish! Yassine was wonderful to work with to make our itinerary just perfect for us and what we wanted to do and see. Morocco did not disappoint! We experienced a beautiful country with amazing hospitality and a rich, vibrant culture. From the moment we stepped off the plane our itinerary was in motion with every step well coordinated and perfectly timed. A special kudos to our driver, Ahmad, who was extremely accommodating, friendly, and professional. Having a driver made travel easy, fun, and the Mercedes van was super comfortable. No worrying about pick-up, drop off, parking, etc. Local guides were knowledgeable, prompt, and flexible. When we let them know our particular interests they were able to tailor our tours to meet our requests. Hafed in Fes and the food tour with Soufi in Marrakesh were definite high points. Each destination held a special fascination but highlights for me were the Desert Camp near Merzouga, the medina in Fes, and Ait Benhaddou. The Moroccan people were so generous to us and expressed genuine excitement to have tourists back after the pandemic.

What an amazing introduction to Morocco! We could not have been happier with our experience planning (and replanning due to Covid) this experience with Sharon. She was knowledgeable, patient and kind and became a friend during the process. When the trip finally happened, it was everything we had hoped for and then some. Yassine, our guide, was fantastic from the minute he met us at the airport. We got to see a bit of Casablanca before heading out to Rabat. From there it just kept getting better and better. The variety of trip, from the ethereal blue city of Chefchaouen, to the ancient Medina of Fez, to the GORGEOUS Sahara Desert, and the endless vibrant energy and colors of Marrakech….it’d be hard to pick a favorite part. Even the riads we stayed in were so far beyond our expectations….every single one. And even though Yassine was always full of interesting facts and insights, they also provided specialized local guides in some of the cities that guided us through back streets and ancient narrow passageways to tiny hidden local gems and old family shops we would never have found on our own. And we’re glad we did 2 weeks instead of only 1; there was SO much to see and do and it still felt like we were rushing. Two weeks allowed us to have a free day every now and then to just meander the streets on our own and get a better feel for the places. Overall, we had a great time in Morocco covering the imperial cities and the desert. Details below:

Online planning - Said and Abdel from Original Travels made it effortless to put together a schedule covering places and activities that we were looking for. They were very responsive and provided the right balance of options and flexibility in choosing places, hotels, activities, etc. This was our first time booking a packaged tour online, and we were very happy with the process. Said and Abdel put together an itinerary that allowed us to cover a lot of places and still give us sufficient time to explore places by ourselves.

The trip - The trip was amazing, covering the imperial cities with stopover in the desert and Atlas mountains. The itinerary and hotels/Riads selected by Original Travels were great - particularly the camp in the desert and the Riad in Marrakech. The local guides from Hafid in Fes to Hannan in Marrakech were knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured that we learned about the history and culture of the great cities. We were able to cover quite a bit of ground thanks to their encyclopedic knowledge of the amazingly complex Medinas.

But if we had to single out one individual who made our trip a success, it would be Faissal - a tour de force combination of driver, fashion icon, food critic, guide, and overall great guy! First and foremost, he provided safe and comfortable transportation getting us to places on time. But he was so much more than just that. He provided us with a lot of information about each place we drove through, picked out amazing places for meals, and would always point us to the best places for views and pictures. He kept us engaged and entertained, and was focussed on ensuring a great experience for us. He even saved the day by managing to retrieve my iPods that I had left behind in a hotel a hundred miles away. We highly highly recommend him!

I loved my trip around the country of Morocco. KimKim proved to be a wise choice when I was thinking of traveling independently, yet wanted backup coordination. Through them I connected with Original Travels based in Morocco. Mohamad was excellent and his choices of accommodations were perfect. The entire team there at Original Travels were always so helpful in answering any question I might have. Very responsive.

While I enjoyed much of Morocco, my time in the desert at the Azalai Desert Camp was amazing! Just what I needed. Ayaub was so wonderful. He cooked and attended me as if I were family. A very thoughtful and kind man. All three guys overseeing the camp were great, but a special thanks to Ayaub!

My absolute favorite of all things about my trip was my most amazing, kind and capable driver Soufian. It was such a joy to see him every day. Our 10 day tour around Morocco was amazing! What a beautiful country with incredibly nice and gracious people! Our tour itinerary - in summary: Tangier-Chefchaouen-Fes-desert camp at Erg Chebbi-Ait Ben Haddou-Marrakech-Casablanca. I want to give a special shout-out to our guide and driver Ahmad - who was with us the whole time. Not only did he have lots of useful and interesting information about all our tour stops, he was with us the whole time and was forever flexible and available to our changing needs as we went. He worked incredibly hard to make our trip special and was always perfectly pleasant, prompt, and professional! I would say the desert experience at Erg Chebbi/Merzouga area was the most unique of the trip - but all of our stops were memorable and all of our tour guides deserve special mention as well. Thank you Morocco and Kimkim!!

Fantastic tour, could not dream of doing this tour without Wonderlust tours. Megan is fantastic , responds promptly & efficiently. Our driver, Aliza is the best! He was professional & caring. It was a wonderful trip organised by Mrs. Megan Lower. We really had a memorable experience and would arrange another holiday back in Morocco with Megan as well as the excellent driver Mr. Mohammed. From picking us up from the airport till he dropped us off from the airport, Mr. Mohammed was always curtious and on time; gave us lots of guidance on how, where, when, who questions we had as well as having great knowledge about the geology of the routes we encountered which I was particularly interested in. His english and french were of fluent level which was also important. Because it is a trip that includes lots of road time, I would think of the option of having Land-Rover (ours was a Toyota) to be driven in for some parts of the trip that includes the hills and off road for the next time.
