• The drive to the hotel twists through small towns and follows old farm roads not passable by two cars, so you might need to back up. 

Additional Notes From Ash 

I was prepared for a countryside locale, but I didn't realize just how rural this hotel is until I braved the drive out to the property! Though the roads were very narrow, I made the trek both ways without any issues. There are quite a few pullouts, and locals are kind and patient. But the journey is worth it, as the hotel is one of a kind. Every corner felt historic and idyllic, with the food a big highlight. If you're planning to bike on Mallorca, this is the place to stay, as it's right on bike routes to some of the most beautiful villages on the island. 

Authenticity

Finca Can Beneït calls itself a rural getaway, and that's a perfect description. The property feels like an escape, set in a historic manor estate in a village dating back to at least the 13th century (the exact date is unknown). You can embrace this rural lifestyle by enjoying breakfast on the terrace overlooking a valley or while exploring the house's gardens, olive groves, and historic olive press (which still functions today). 

Location

Getting to Finca Can Beneït is a bit of an adventure but well worth it. You'll twist through the towns of Inca and Selva before following the original, narrow roads to the hamlet of Binibona. These lanes are a squeeze when meeting another car, but the locals have it down to an art. Once at the hotel, enjoy being surrounded by mountains, valleys, olive groves, and historic stone houses in the quiet, tranquil countryside. You'll be about 45 minutes from Palma to the south and 30 minutes from Alcúdia in the north. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

Each of the property's ten rooms maintains the building's original and historical charm, with details like wood-beamed ceilings, tile floors, and stone walls. All have a beautiful wooden bed (traditional to the island), plus air conditioning, coffee makers, bathrobes, and writing desks. Suites add more space, seating areas, and private terraces with views of mountains and/or valleys. 

Other Highlights

The hotel's restaurant serves traditional Mallorcan cuisine, with a menu changing daily according to the local and seasonal products available. Its farm-to-table concept uses as many ingredients from the property's farm as possible. You can also relax at the outdoor pool with its mountain views, in the spa with a smaller, more private pool, in the gardens, or on the yoga lawn. There's also an indoor lounge with a cozy fireplace.
