Tranquil and family-operated boutique hotel just steps from Plaza Nueva and the Cathedral

Overview

As a family-owned property, you'll always find one of the members working at Hotel Boutique Casa de Colón, and they'd be happy to share the renovation story of this 18th-century manor house. The inner courtyard and incredible stained glass windows are just two of the endless little details that make the hotel enchanting. Opt for a room with a private terrace and enjoy your breakfast on the rooftop with Cathedral views.

Pros
  • Enjoy sleeping among history, as the hotel's building dates back to the 18th century as a manor house and maintains that charm with old wooden headboards, brick walls, colorful tiles, and a beautiful inner courtyard.
  • Walk anywhere in the city, as you'll be next to the Town Hall and just a few minutes from the Catedral de Seville and Royal Alcázar, and 20 minutes from Plaza de España.
  • The preserved inner courtyard features a glass ceiling, stained-glass windows, and comfy seating among columns and plants.
  • Enjoy breakfast on the rooftop terrace with views of the Cathedral and Giralda Tower, or relax with a drink at sunset in the evening.
  • Some rooms feature private terraces and free-standing soaking tubs.
  • The Pazos family owns and operates the boutique hotel, so you'll interact with at least one of them during your stay.
Cons
  • The rooms are all a little different, with some looking better than others, so you might want to request a specific unit.

Authenticity

Because Hotel Boutique Casa de Colón is family-operated, you'll interact with at least one of the owners during your stay, which offers a local feel. The family beautifully preserved this 18th-century manor, keeping charming details like wooden headboards, brick walls, tiling, and a gorgeous inner courtyard.

You'll find the hotel nearly on the Town Hall square, putting you within walking distance of all the major sites, plus tasty tapas bars. In just a few minutes, you can easily walk to the Catedral de Seville and Royal Alcázar, and Plaza de España is just 20 minutes away.

Rooms & Bathrooms

Each room has its own unique look, meaning no two are exactly alike. Take your pick from rooms that range from standard to deluxe, or opt for the attic room featuring a private terrace with sun loungers. Bathrooms are also unique and vintage yet clean, and some have free-standing soaking tubs.

Other Highlights

You can always relax in the beautiful inner courtyard, with its glass ceiling, stained-glass windows, chairs, and sofas. As for breakfast, enjoy it on the rooftop terrace while admiring the views of the Cathedral and La Giralda Tower. Or, grab a drink and head up to the rooftop at sunset.

Very quaint old hotel. Read more

Very quaint old hotel.

Authenticity & Character
Rooms built around the central courtyard of what was probably a great old home.
Location
Easy walk to most of the attractions
Staff
Cleanliness & Comfort
Rooms had a few little quirky things. The bathroom was an old sliding door made from a stained glass door that may have been the old door to the entrance of the room. Our room was directly under the space where the breakfasts are prepared, so noises started early.
