• The hotel's location is unique for Mallorca, as you'll be off the beaten path in a small town near the sea, so it feels like a local's secret, unlike the island's typical buzz. 
• If you'd like to enjoy nature, you'll find lots of hiking and biking trails nearby. 
• All the rooms have a light, trendy, and bohemian style to complement the relaxed island atmosphere and offer views of the sea and mountains or the property's garden.
• Some rooms have private or shared balconies.
• The outdoor terrace and lounge area feel like a true escape, with big cushy sun loungers, an outdoor pool, wooden furniture, plants, traditional floor tiles, and sunbeds all set against the hotel's white-washed building. 

Cons

• Some rooms are a little snug, with the bathroom sink next to the bed. 
• Getting to the best beaches, restaurants, and hiking paths require driving, so it's best to have a rental car at your disposal.

This hotel was quite a surprise. I knew it had excellent ratings, but I was hesitant about its location, which seemed pretty far from the action. There's no need to question; the place is perfect! The town is quiet, authentic, and surrounded by nature. If you don't mind a long walk, you could step outside the hotel and start your trek along the coast or into the mountains (though a car comes in handy). And as for the hotel's vibes, it's not fancy or luxurious, but it felt like I was truly in the Balearic Islands—the white-washed building, the bohemian "chill-out" terrace, and the natural decor works perfectly to create a relaxed yet trendy space.

Petit Hotel Rocamar is located in a charming, traditional Mallorcan village and housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century building. The decor and furnishings blend modern and traditional, focusing on natural materials and a neutral color palette to match the island's vibes. The outdoor terrace also brings the Mediterranean to you with authentic decor and sea views. 

Location

You'll find Petit Hotel Rocamar in the small coastal village of Colònia de Sant Pere on the eastern side of Alcúdia Bay, a popular place for cycling. The town is small with simple architecture, but the area is perfect for nature enthusiasts. You'll be next to the Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant, which has many trails to peaks, lookout points, historical landmarks, and more. Some trails are accessible from the village, or you can reach others by car or transfer in around 10 or 15 minutes. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

The hotel designed the rooms in a Mediterranean style, featuring white-washed walls, woven furnishings, local art, and traditional bathroom tiling. Each unit has modern amenities, comfortable furnishings, and views of the sea or the hotel's gardens. Some offer private balconies, whereas others have shared terraces or direct access to the hotel's large sun deck near the pool. Only one room category doesn't have an outdoor space, so you can truly enjoy the fresh air and Mediterranean views here.

The hotel's biggest draw is its trendy outdoor terrace with views of the mountains and sea. You can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and sun deck with comfy loungers, perfect for relaxing, soaking up the Mediterranean sun, and unwinding with a drink. You'll enjoy a daily breakfast buffet in a bright and airy dining room, and you can also chill in the indoor lounge with wicker egg chairs and a large sofa. And because the area is so popular with cycling, the hotel has a bike center for storage and tune-ups.
