Riad Madu Desert Camps, Merzouga

The Riad Madu Desert Camps were quite luxurious, which wasn't exactly what I was looking for. While the accommodations were incredible, the food offered catered to a high-end experience, not providing the authentic taste of Moroccan cuisine I sought. Being somewhat isolated, it was not easy to find alternatives nearby. I wish I had known more about the type of camp experience in advance to better align with my desires.

This was the highlight of our trip. The staff were extraordinarily nice and helpful. The food in their restaurant was amazing, both breakfasts and dinners. The tents were very comfortable.

The experience was amazing! The facilities were clean and comfortable to think that we were in the middle of the desert. We enjoyed the ambiance as well as the program after dinner. Thank you.

I could go into great detail, but the bottom line is, you simply must embark upon this adventure. Never ever ever skip the opportunity to ride a camel in the Sahara.

The staff at Riad Madu were incredibly friendly -- always had a smile on their face. The views of the Sahara are breathtaking, and the tented camps were comfortable.

I am not use to glamping! This was the perfect elegance in the desert! Pure tranquility.

This camp in the Sahara is more like a hotel room than a tent. The staff were amazing. And the food was abundant and very tasty. Loved seeing the Sahara!

Once in a lifetime experience that we absolutely loved. Everyone was super accommodating. We did have to wait for awhile to be picked up in the morning, but we enjoyed the extra time in the sand.
