Adriano La Croce

Since I was a child, I loved geography, history, and arts, and when I finished high school, it was very natural for me to choose to study Tourism. I can happily say that this profession allowed me to travel worldwide, getting to know landscapes and cultures that have become part of my life. I think traveling and meeting people helps you to know yourself, and every single place I have visited lasts inside of me as a treasure that makes me who I am.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Our trips are carefully tailored using our on-the-ground knowledge of Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay and the strong relationships that we have built with our partners. We specialize in unique and off-the-beaten-track experiences as well as the very personal attention we give to our guests while they are here."

How did you get involved in travel?

"Throughout my career, I've worked in different areas of tourism: I worked for an airline for seven years, which allowed me to visit destinations I had never dreamed of. Also, I worked for a travel insurance company, which taught me the responsibility that organizing a trip demands, and how important it is to ensure a quick and effective answer to the traveler's needs. And finally, I've been working for the last eight years as a travel specialist, organizing tailor-made trips to Argentina and neighboring countries. I like to build strong and meaningful relationships with the guests and everyone involved in the trips I organize, and I love my job because I help people to have unforgettable trips."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Picking up only one travel experience from all the amazing trips I had in my life is quite a quest. However, if I had to choose one, it would probably be my trip to Bañado La Estrella, in the province of Formosa, in the extreme north of Argentina. La Estrella is one of the largest wetlands in South America and a natural paradise, with tremendously abundant wildlife, and at the time I went there, it had almost no tourist development. I traveled to do research for my thesis for my masters degree, which the main goal was to develop proposals for the area, based on the local communities and respecting the natural environment.
I was there for almost a month, sharing my time with the indigenous communities, and exploring the wetlands in their hand carved canoes. I will never forget the incredible landscapes and the reflection of the sky and the trees projected in the immense water. "
