Micaela Rodriguez

My name is Micaela. I'm from Córdoba, Argentina. I've been working in the travel industry since 2017 after getting my degree. I consider myself a travel lover. Since I was a kid I travel around Argentina, my home country, and around the world too. During 2022 I had the chance to travel abroad and experience different cultures and places. It was an unforgettable experience and it made me realize how powerful travelling could be. It gives us a different perspective to see world and life. That’s why I love helping people to create their dream trips. My main goal is making everyone to know how extraordinary South America is. I’m sure you will fall in love with this incredible continent. ¡Let’s create your next adventure together!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specially to customized tours throughout South America specially in Argentina, Chili Peru, and Brazil. I always like to encourage to experience out of the beaten experiences. Of course there are “must” in every destination like vineyards in Mendoza, Machu Picchu in Cusco, hikkings in El Chaltèn, “Caminito” in Buenos Aires but there many more options to add to your trip and I want to help you discover them. As I always say, for every travel there is a special way to experience each destination and that’s what makes travelling so interesting. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"My passion for tourism started from a very young age. My family and I usually have lots of city breaks and road trips in my home country every now and then. I was always looking for new places to discover and that’s how I realize I wanted to study tourism. I started High School where I got a specialization in Tourism, Hospitality and Transportation and then I studied at the University where I got my Technical Degree in Tourism. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Fortunately, I have lots of them because for me every trip is unique! But if I had to choose just one I would pick the first day I visit San Martin de Los Andes. In my opinion, one of the most wonderful cities in Patagonia. I remember myself seating in front of Lacar Lake while I was having “mates” and I truly felt grateful for what I was contemplating. The beach, the wooden cottages, the boats navigating the lake and the autumn leaves created a unique and peaceful atmosphere. At that moment I knew I belong that place and I will always go back. "

The Tango show was wonderful! The dancing was amazing, and the food served at the restaurant was very good. It captured the essence of Argentine culture for us and was a memorable evening.

Puerto Iguazú

Iguazú Falls were breathtaking, and we loved visiting both the Argentine and Brazilian sides. Each side offered unique views and experiences. Despite the slightly uphill hike on the Brazilian side, it was still easy and enjoyable. The guide made the customs process smooth despite the long lines.

It was fantastic to see the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls too. The hike was manageable, and our guide was very helpful in getting us through customs. It rounded off our exploration of the falls excellently.

The full-day visit to Nibepo Aike Ranch was incredible. The scenic drive through the National Park, with views of glaciers, was just beautiful. At the ranch, we witnessed sheep shearing and enjoyed a nature walk learning about local flora. The highlight was a delicious grilled lamb lunch, which was a true taste of the region's cuisine.
