Angel has been able to organize an exciting and comprehensive plan for our trip to Chile. In the planning phase he’s been capable of accommodate all our wishes for activity despite our time constraints, including impeccable logistics. During the trip he’s been always available for clarifications, small adjustments and coordination.

While all our guides have been extremely professional and offered great adventures, some really stood out. In chronological order:
- Andrej, our guide for an excursion in the Atacama desert, is very experienced and knew the area well, showing us a less touristic route which ended with a breathtaking waterfall view.
- Sebastian, our guide for 2 tours in Rapa Nui, is extremely knowledgeable about the island’s history and was able to provide all the answers to our questions.
- Claudio, our driver from Balmaceda to Puerto Rio Tranquilo, is a very professional driver who provided many insights about the nature in the area and he took initiative to stop several times along the 3 hours drive to let us take photos in the most stunning viewpoints.
- Jose Luis, our contact person in Puerto Natales, was very available to organize our pick up and car rental, and also provided us with lot of trip suggestions for our adventures in the Torres de Paine National Park.
- Our guides for the tour on Magdalena Island also gave us one of the most memorable tours, taking us for a walk across an incredible amount of penguins.

Overall, I would recommend this journey to everyone as it included activities for anyone, with Angel being able to suggest the most suitable activities for your needsz

Amazing experience in Chile! We had great advice and support from Tamer, Camila, and Angel from Responsible Travel. They were available via WhatsApp during the trip, were attentive to our needs and very responsive. We had some minor travel snags, which is to be expected with so many flights, hotels, transfers, etc. Camila and Angel in particular were always there to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and all of our needs were met. My only suggestion for improvement was the tour selected for Rapa Nui (Easter Island) didn't include the most famous Moai sights of the island (Rano Raku and Ahu Tongariki), so we had to make our own arrangements on the island to see those sights.

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Pierre (our guide) was very kind and knowledgeable. The Salt Flats are very beautiful and unique. We started by visiting Salar de Talar, then we visited Laguna Miscanti and Laguna Miniques. On the drives, we spotted a lot of native wildlife and were able to see llamas and vicunas up close. Our final stop was the signpost for the Tropic of Capricorn.

Another major highlight of our trip. We loved seeing the Tatio Geysers, you can get really close to the geysers. This is the 3rd largest geothermal site in the world (behind Yellowstone and a site in Russia), and the one at the highest altitude. We had a delicious breakfast at Geyser Blanco. On the drive back, we saw a flamingo reserve and visited the Atacama Wetlands.

The Valle de la Luna is an incredible experience. We loved it! Otherworldly landscapes, including sand dunes, craters, cliffs, and bizarre rock formations. Ata, our guide, was incredible. Very enthusiastic, and he shared so much knowledge with us about the culture and history of the Rapa Nui people. The Moai sites themselves were really beautiful and incredible! Ahu Akivi was my favorite. My only suggestion for improvement was that this tour did not include Rano Raraku and Ahu Tongariki, which are the most famous Moai sites on Easter Island! The only reason I know this is because I researched the island ahead of time. We had to make our own arrangements to see these beautiful sights. They should be included in the tour!!

We had excellent guides: Ángel in Santiago, Victoria in Atacama, and both Joaquín and Logan in Patagonia. Their professionalism and knowledge greatly enhanced our experience.
Unfortunately, the guides for the Salar in Atacama and Rapa Nui were very poor, which detracted from those parts of the trip.
The communication during the trip planning process was very good, and we appreciated the attention to detail at that stage. However, we were particularly dissatisfied with the constant schedule changes and delays during the trip, especially since we had emphasized that the trip included an elderly person, making punctuality crucial. Additionally, due to discrepancies between the final schedule and the original itinerary, some days became overly exhausting and lacked adequate rest.
Overall, given our experience, we found the trip to be expensive for what was delivered.

Overall the planning of our Chilean trip with Kimkim was very easy. Tamar worked with us to develop an itinerary that provided seeing the highlights. He was very responsive to our questions. We also provided feedback on the accommodations and in some cases we provided the hotel that we wanted to stay at. The one disadvantage was that we were given a total price to pay and not an itemized summary. It would be helpful to understand the cost of each item as we may have reconsidered some activities.

Lorena and her on the ground team in Chile were communicative, clear, and patient with our questions and needs. The trip delivered on every planned meeting, excursion, driver, and connection. The team on the ground was helpful with airline check-ins, local recommendations, and thoughtful check-ins. Tours, hotels, and excursions were exactly as described and were well done. The Stargazing tours in the Atacama desert were a once in a life time experience. Lorena did a very nice job taking into account the ages and ability level of my traveling party which made the trip more doable and memorable.

Our trip to Chili from December 26 - January 8th with our family of five, was a huge disappointment because of the poor organization from KimKim.

The start of our trip was "Rocky" as we didn't receive our bags after spending several days trying to fly to Santiago, of which was no ones fault, but the person of whom picked us up at the hotel our first morning in Santiago to take us back to the airport to fly to Puerto Natales, had no information about our losing our bags and we couldn't communicate to our driver that we had to go to a certain part of the airport to retrieve them. We finally got ahold of Angel, our food tour person in Santiago and he translated the information to our driver. It was very stressful and should have been taken care of by KimKim.

We have used KimKim for another trip that was spectacular in Norway, while spending two weeks with the most spectacular guidance from our guide (Mathias) with KimKim. This current trip to Chili and Patagonia was abysmal in comparison. We had one miscommunication after the next and it was very apparent that KimKim was utilizing 1, 2 and 3 party groups to facilitate our trip. There were several times when we did not know who our contact was and we were contacting three different people at a time trying the get the situations worked out. After being picked up by our tour guide (Felipe) in Puerto Natales at the beginning of out trip, we had to tell him what was on our agenda. He had some kind of an idea with our touring the national park, but did not know anything about lunch and that it was to be provided. We had to wait 30 minutes at 2:30 in the afternoon, standing in the foyer of the restaurant to see what we were allowed to order and then waiting another 10 minutes to see if we had drinks provided.

On our second day in Puerto Natales, Felipe again didn't know that tix were already purchased for the boat ride to the French Valley for our trek to the Torres Del Paine, so I husband spent a good amount of time frantically trying to book tix finding out that the day was sold out!!! We decided that we would just drive straight to the boat to try to ask to please allow us on as this was our only day to trek, but then on our way heard from Pamela, via text that tix were already purchased for us. Very stressful.
We were unhappy with the accommodations in Puerto Natales as the Glacier Hotel was more like a banged up youth hostel. The bedding was visibly dirty in one of our rooms and there was actually a hole in one of the bathroom doors where it had been either kicked in or in someway damaged. We were moved to another room which was nicer, but still found the hotel unacceptable. The breakfast offered was sub par as well, with the only hot item being scramble eggs and everything else store bought, packaged pastries and the like. We did inform or original contact, Francisco that we were unhappy, but he informed us that because it was high season, this place was our only option. This is totally untrue as we called around and found several properties that were not booked.

We were so disappointed with the Glacier Hotel that we contacted Francisco and had our hotel in Puerto Varas changed after seeing it was of the same calibar hotel as the Glacier and was outside the city limits, where we would not be able to walk the town. We were charged an extra $500 and service fees to change to the new Hotel for three nights. Again Francisco said that he had to book the original hotel in Puerto Varas because of late booking, but this too wasn't true as we had no trouble booking at the Hotel Puelche of which we very much enjoyed, we could walk to town and loved the accommodations. When my husband looked back at communication with Francisco, my husband inquired why we were booked in this hotel, and we were told once again that it was an availability issue and we wouldn't want any other place, that this was "THE" place to stay.

Lastly, we were booked at the Hilton Hotel by the airport in Santiago for out last two nights of which is 15 to 30 min away from any sites and my husband contacted Francisco before we arrived in Chili about changing this hotel and never received a response from him.

We are a traveling family of five and have been to over 80 countries and now have the means to hire a company to assist us with planning trips and moving forward, will not employ KimKim for the job.

Considering the amount we paid for the trip to Chili, the return was abysmal.

We have many friends of whom travel and too, will not recommend your company to them as a source for travel.

We had the most amazing trip to Chile, thanks to all the planning by Riwal and Tamer on Kimkim. I told Tamer what we wanted to do, and Riwal assisted in creating the itinerary. After a few changes, we had a great 10 day trip planned. Everything was set up for us, including transportation, activities, and lodging. Riwal was in constant contact while we were there, which gave us a sense of security if something went wrong. Jose was our guide in at the beginning of our trip and he was the absolute best! We visited wineries, went on a city tour, food tour, and were treated to a very nice picnic with a beautiful view of the city and the mountains. After that we stayed at Cascada de Animas and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Andes. The resort is beautiful and offers so many great activities. Fanny was a great guide on the waterfall hike. Horseback riding was also an amazing experience. After that we traveled to the coast and stayed in Vina Del Mar. The ocean is beautiful and we got to experience the culture during city and food tours of both Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso. Cris and Grex guided us through the cities, and we learned so much about the history of the port cities. Overall, Chile is a warm, welcoming, beautiful country with amazing food and wine. Kimkim did a great job putting this trip together and making it so simple. I highly recommend!

This was our first time using assistance in planning and booking a vacation and it was SEAMLESS! Angel planned an awesome vacation for our family of four from start to finish and was so patient and helpful. We will absolutely use KimKim again!

Jose in Satiago, Pierre in Santa Fe de Atacama and ATA in Rapa Nui were very serviceful, attentive to our needs and knowledgeable guides.

The trip was well organized by Angel and fully met our expectations. The trips to Atacama Geysers, Lagoons and Night Sky View were too good and memorable. I felt Bolivia is a lot more scenic and the ride through the vast deserts and points of interests was exhilarating. The highlight of the trip was of course Uyuni Salt Flats!!!!!! Can't describe!!!

Though all our guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, our Bolivian guide Orlando stood out - super good and truly Amazing!!!

Here is feedback on the Chile trip
1. The organization by Francisco was less than what I expected. Communication was done with him over Kimkin portal or verbally but then actions were different.
2. The hotels that were promised were changed after we paid the deposit and they were much worse than we initially were told.
3. The hotel in San Pedro de Atacama (Don Raul) was very bad – I even sent photos of the hotel. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet bowl, no closet, extremely small room with barely much room for luggage, no closet, very small shower with half the shower door so water will spill out. This was not a 3 start hotel.
4. We were told that there will be 2 cabins in Torres Del Paine in Konkashken Lodge for 2 days. Then Francisco said that there was only 1 cabin with 4 beds and everything else was booked and nothing else was available. He never told us that the 1 cabin will be with bunk beds – imagine that! 4 adults, 2 aged in mid-thirties and 2 in their sixties trying to fit in bunk beds. We discussed with the owner/manager and she said Francisco changed the reservation from 2 cabins to 1 cabin and they had rooms available (but Francisco told us that there were no rooms available when original booking was done). The situation was so bad that we could not stay a second night as we had planned and paid for. Originally when I had asked Francisco that he should reduce the amount since he had charged for 2 cabins and changed the reservation for one cabin he said that vegetarian food was expensive so he will not reduce the price. This was not true also. I should be refunded for 2 rooms for 1 night and also for the other night that we were forced to spend in totally unacceptable accommodation with bunk beds in a single cabin.
5. I did not expect this kind of service from KimKim. Extremely disappointed.

Otherwise Chile and specially Torres Del Paine overall is a wonderful place to visit.

Trekking Torres del Paine with W Circuit on day 1 was a good introduction to the sights of Patagonia, however the mini bus was poor with cramped seating on rough roads.
Boat tour to Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers was a highlight as the fiords were spectacular, however the boat had poor worn seats and was best viewed from the upper deck. Also ranch lunch was poor as meat full of crissle and salad only lettuce.
Full day tour of Torres del Paine Park partly doubled up on the first day trekking, however while overcast and raining on first day the Full Day vehicle tour was better with clear skies and superior comfortable vehicle from Patagonia Planet which is highly recommended.
Last day trekking and Condor watching was the highlight as the guide Patagonia Adventure Jorge was brilliant and spoke fluent English. He went out of his way to find condors and we were treated to clear skies and a condor aerial display.
Hotel accommodation at Puerto Natalie's Hotel Vendaval offered small modern rooms which were ok however very noisy as sound travels through the floor and walls.

It was fun to see the glacier but it is a LONG day on a boat. The lunch at the ranch took 2.5 hours and the food was only okay. By the time we got there we were very hungry and just wanted to be served immediately rather than everything slowly served. Also, it was weird that some people got a cheese board snack on the boat and we didn't-I guess their hotel sent the snack.

We had an amazing trip to Chile (Santiago , Atacama and Patagonia area) this December. Fransisco had organized our trip very well. He was very good in communicating with us right from the start and keeping us informed about our trip including a detailed packing list. Our local specialist Angel was super nice and very helpful. Same with Jose who was our local specialist at Puerto Natales.
The trips was very well organized and timed. We had an amazing trip. I would definitely travel with them again. Thank you very much!!

Wow!! What an AMAZING trip we had to Chile!! Angel was the absolute BEST in helping us plan our incredible itinerary to Santiago, Patagonia and Easter Island. This hotel has the BEST views and scenery in all of Patagonia. That’s why you stay here. It’s located on its own little island that includes a short hike to the top of a hill to get the most stunning views of the mountains. The food was just okay and kind of expensive, but that’s true of all of the accommodations in the park. The staff were kind and helpful. The WiFi only works in the common area which includes a large lounge upstairs with beautiful views of the landscape and mountains.

We gave it our best shot but not being used to hiking, it was too difficult for us. A well-organized compact trip to Patagonia and Santiago. Fransisco, our tour organizer's arrangements were detailed and his instructions were accurate. His and local support along the trip whenever we had hiccups was particularly impressive. Our activities were great, and the local guides were wonderful. We particularly enjoyed Nicholas for our Punta Arenas tour and Jorge for the kayak from Puerto Prat. They were both knowledgeable and their enthusiasm and love for the land was infectious.
