I googled a package trip for Italy and Greece and kimkim came up as a company that could help me. I reached out to kimkim and the company gave me a tour organizer named Tasos. We met on a zoom face to face and discussed what I wanted out of our trip to Europe. We visited Rome, Pompeii, Florence, and Venice in Italy. In Greece we spent time in Santorini, Myknos, and Athens. The hotels were in the center of each city and were walkable distances to places we wanted to visit. We had train rides, flights, and a ferry ride to move from city to city. We had two moments where we needed extra help with reservations that were questionable. Evyenia and Nikos responded immediately when we had questions about a reservation and the problem was fixed right away. We had a marvelous trip!! kimkim is a great company to work with to plan a vacation. I would recommend them to anyone.

First time planning a trip with Kim Kim and it was above all my expectations, very easy and friendly service that eased all my trip planning worries. Fabio was great from the start and very responsive during our trip for any questions. From the start with the airport pickup to the airport dropoff our trip went off without any issues. The three days in Rome were the perfect amount of time to see all the sites and Fabio booked us great skip the line tours.
Our Sorrento portion of the trip was great! I appreciate Fabio for suggesting Sorrento over Positano for our trip it was the perfect size town for us to stay in and explore in the middle of everything we wanted to see, between Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius, winery tour, and a trip down the Amalfi Coast. All while having a fantastic car service booked for each excursion booked and private tour guides to really explain to us the history.
Two downsides were our hotel in Sorrento Hotel del Corso was not really up to our standards a bit dated, the AC didn't work and the hotel staff wasn't very helpful and our room was on the main street which was very noisy.
The second downside was our Cooking class at Villa Ida was not up to our expectations it wasn't really a cooking class more so we helped them prep the food while they did the cooking behind the scenes. We were expecting to make either homemade pizza or pasta but instead we made cold salads and filled already cooked pastas. Also Charlie at the cooking class was very pushy for us to buy his wine, ceramics, and music boxes and when we declined buying anything the vibe in the room changed. It left a bad taste in our mouth.
Overall the trip was fantastic and I will definitely be recommending Fabio and Kim Kim to anyone planning a trip to Italy and will also be using them in the future.

This hotel is extremely dated, other then the location I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are extremely dated with uncomfortable old beds, our AC did not work and when we let the staff know they told us it was our fault for having it on to high. Our room was facing the main street and was extremely noisy so between the AC not working and the noise levels we didn't sleep very well. The bathroom amenities are minimal with cheap towels, and the breakfast left much to desire. We only ended up having breakfast one day out of the five.

Loved all three aspects of this tour. Only negative is that doing all three activities in the August heat was very exhausting. We especially loved the Cantina winery tour and lunch, such a beautiful winery and unique experience that we got to check off our bucket list. The private tour of Pompeii was great, our tour guide was engaging and made the tour interesting and fun while learning aspects of Pompeii I never heard of before. Toninio our car driver was fantastic the whole day had the car cool and ready for us at all times.

Villa Ida cooking class was not up to our expectations, we were disappointed that there was not much cooking done on our side instead we actually prepped cold salads, filled already cooked pasta, and put together the layers of eggplant parmigiana. We were hoping that we would learn how to make either homemade pasta or pizza and sauce. The class was just extremely elementary level. In addition Charlie gives you a tour of his "wine cellar" where they make you watch a video on his homemade wine making process and history of the family. The whole time it is a pitch for you to buy his wine. While we were eating our dinner he constantly came our to walk more about the wine and let us know we can ship it to the US. At the end of the dinner they have us go back inside and see his ceramics, and music boxes he makes again trying to sell them to us. We sit down and he hands us a form and goes so how many bottle do you want to buy. When we informed him we wouldn't be buying any bottles he was clearly upset and shutdown ruining the vibe of the evening. We did not appreciate how pushy he was on selling his products. We were expecting a cooking class, not a wine tour and salesman pitch for 3 hours.

Daniela was amazing-so communicative and made us feel so comfortable in Italy with our two girls. Our trip was truly seamless-from pick up at the airport, to every train transfer or booked full day excursion, we were NEVER waiting for transportation. We had wonderful tour guides and just an overall stellar experience.

Working with Fabio was very easy. He was always quick to respond and helped us plan a great trip to Italy that we will always remember. The private tours with Daniela and Elenora were particular highlights. They were so friendly and knowledgeable and felt like friends by the time the tour was over. Our tour guide for the Vatican (Guida? whose name I am not sure of ) was also friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Our guide Jessica in Florence was great as well. We will always remember the cooking class at Villa Ida with Roberta and her dad Carlo (Charlie). This was the best time we had on the trip. What a wonderful family!! I can’t say enough about this perfect experience. The boat ride to the blue grotto was also a highlight. We met such nice people on our tour and the young guide on the boat was fantastic. The hotel transferred worked out perfect. Everyone was friendly and always early which we liked because we are early people too! We would 100% use Kim Kim to book another trip in the future!

This hotel was close to everything. Upon arrival with your luggage you need to climb up a set of cement stairs with no access to an elevator until you get there. We are able bodied people but certainly would be a huge issue if you had any trouble navigating stairs and also the fact that you required to get your luggage up on your own. It was over 100 degrees in Florence when we were there and the Air conditioner did nothing to cool the room and was also restricted to a certain temperature. We were told breakfast was included and it was not. We also were told there was a view and there certainly was not. There weren’t even any windows looking out side. The staff however was nice.

We had a wonderful trip thanks to Alberto! We enjoyed all the activities he planned for us, especially the private tours in Florence and Rome and the amazing boating excursion in the Amalfi coast. We also had a magical day in Tivoli visiting the Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este. All our travel, including private transfers and high-speed trains, was well-planned and went off without a hitch, and the hotels he chose for us were excellent. We especially loved the Glance hotel in Florence, with a rooftop pool and amazing views of the Duomo and the city, and the Hotel Manfredi, with its lovely rooms and attentive staff (particularly Delalia, who enthusiastically helped us with sightseeing tips and great restaurant reservations) located on one of the prettiest streets in Rome walking distance to the Spanish Steps and the Villa Borghese. As a special treat, Alberto also arranged for a unique dinner for us at Baja Roma, a restaurant on a docked boat on the Tiber, which served delicious contemporary Italian food in a pretty setting complete with a gorgeous sunset over the river. I could go on and on about the high quality of the talented tour guides, especially Giulia and Chiara, who brought Italian history to life in Tivoli, the Colosseum and Forum, and Fabio and Caterina who highlighted the masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery and Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence, not to mention the early morning tour of the absolutely beautiful Sistine Chapel at the Vatican museum. We also enjoyed an exquisite afternoon visiting a family vineyard in the hills of the Amalfi coast, including a private tour and delicious lunch accompanied by their many wines. In sum. Alberto did a magnificent job and our trip was glorious!

Our driver was great and really went the extra mile. We asked if we could make a stop in Positano for the afternoon on the way to Maori and he was so helpful in arranging that and then picking us up. Seeing Positano made a huge difference in our trip. Going that way afforded us amazing views of the Amalfi coast and we were able to have a very pleasant lunch in Positano and walk around.

Seeing Amalfi from the water was just an incredible experience. Our guides pointed out the highlights of the Amalfi coast, including where various celebrities, writers, and artists had lived. They took us to a cave that we were able to swim in, and it was just magical. This was perhaps one of our favorite experience of our whole trip.

We had an amazing trip to Italy! From start to finish it was so easy working with kimkim! Cecilia was great! She literally took basic information on things we wanted to see/do and areas we thought we'd like to go and she mapped out the entire trip! She sent us a full itinerary including the stops along our trip, area info for each stop, hotel info, transports, train info, all our excursions, and additional recommendations for each location! It was awesome! We made little to no changes in the itinerary. And every step along the way was exactly as described! And we were a group of 10 so not an easy feat to move 10 people around in another country we weren't familiar with at all lol! It all went smoothly. We loved each place, all the hotels, and every excursion! kimkim was knowledgeable on the areas, was in contact with us while in Italy, and responded to us timely before and during the trip. And our guides for each excursion were wonderful~ highly recommend the guided tours :) We have already said we are going to use kimkim again for future trips! Chris planned a great trip for us including wonderful tour guides in Florence (Allie), Cinque Terra (Nico) and Rome (Bryon and Barbara). The cooking classes in Florence (Maria was so fun and sweet) and Rome (Alex also great) were perfect to help learn about all of the delicious food we ate throughout Italy.
All in all the service was excellent and helpful when needed to call for any help or confirmations while traveling. Highly recommend!

The trip was amazing and just what I needed. I love the flexibility and the immediate response from the staff. Harris went above and beyond to ensure the trip was seamless and enjoyable. From having a driver waiting for me right when I got off the tour boat, suggesting yummy places to eat, to the hotel packing me breakfast for my early morning departure. The addition of local help from Evyenia was also excellent! I usually like the process of planning trips but I didn't have the time this go around to do so. They thought of everything and plan on using KimKim again for my next travels.

Sorrento and the VueD Orr were the best, but all the hotels were really good and hospitable. The guide for the bike tour was excellent and the bike tour and catacombs were a real highlight of our trip

What a memorable trip. Valeria and Deborah pulled off a minor miracle in re-organizing almost our entire itinerary at the last minute (like the night before we were to leave the US). They salvaged what otherwise would have been a disaster for our family. Due to unforseen circumstances, dates, places, activities, tours, transportation, pretty much everything, had to be altered. What a relief and thrill it was for us to arrive at last in Rome to find new arrangements had been made.

Our local concierge Daniela was waiting for us at the airport and ushered to our air-conditioned, spacious, and comfortable van. Both she and our driver even helped with our bags. That set the tone for the rest of our incredibly well orchestrated trip. To a person, everyone involved from start to finish was professional, affable, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Can't remember every one's name but Lorenzo (The Colosseum and Forum), Vincenzo (got us to the train on time), Annaelise (Vatican City), Alyssa (Venice - unsure about spellings), Beatrice (Venice) and all of our drivers stand out.

We just finished a ten day family trip to Italy. The 10 of us could not be any happier or satisfied from our experience. From the first days in Venice, then to Florence, and down to Sorrento, and finishing in Rome. Just wow. Every city brought to it, it's own beauty and character. Team Kimkim did an absolutely awesome job in every facet. Through booking and scheduling our tours, and trains to recommendations, and having everything so perfectly timed out. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately. We had so many great tour guides from Marica on our tour in Florence, from Umberto in Pompeii, to Jess our chef in Rome( who taught us all the perfect pasta and Tiramisu), to Barbara who led us so professionally through The Vatican and Sistine Chapel. We are so grateful for Maria’s help in planning our trip to Sicily. In addition, the responsiveness of Maria, Barbara and Jessica (from Storywalking) when we decided within a few days to cancel and then changed our minds to go on with the trip with about 36 hours notice. We literally called them in the middle of the night to rebook everything and within a few hours they did it. Kimkim is a fantastic concept- who knows better to plan your trip than a travel agent from the country of your destination? Arianna, our local specialist, was not only knowledgeable, she was extremely patient, totally professional, and tremendously helpful. We had no idea what to do or where to start and Arianna had it all under control. Her planning did not disappoint, everything about our trip was beyond our expectations!! We made adjustments to our itinerary several times, and she was there immediately to discuss our options and suggestions. We had many video conferencing calls...often past her workday hours due to the time difference. Once in Sicily, her colleague-Barbara was in contact with us several times a day, confirming transportation and the itinerary schedule. The transportation was first rate as well. There were always on time and very accommodating. My elderly father is not the most mobile, and our drivers made every attempt to get us as close as possible to our sites. I could continue with this glowing review, but suffice it to say that our experience was outstanding! I would recommend them to anyone who is planning a trip! I will be using them again :)

From, start to finish of my trip to Sicily in July 2023, the Kim Kim Team was there to service me all the way. (I did the trip as a solo person).
Ariana worked with me independently to determine what my interests were. She was then able to personalize the perfect trip to suit my needs. The trip was revised according to my interests and budget and confirmed for agreement before proceeding with final payment.
The first day, I was collected by a personal chauffeur who took me directly to my central and very comfortable accommodation. From then on, every part of my trip was taken care of, from tours to consideration of the importance of rest or personal time included.
The tours that were organized were well researched by the Kim Kim Team to provide personal and highly intelligent tour guides who gave so much information. I felt like I had been part of history during the tours.
The Kim Kim Team, (working within an App, which I had not used before), were continuously monitored by Barbara and Jessica. They were amazingly attentive ladies who only wanted me to enjoy my trip. They liaised with me and the tour guides and accommodated me extremely well to make sure I was at the correct meeting place at the right time. Reminders were sent out nightly to make sure all the arrangements were in place correctly.
The attention to detail by the Kim Kim Team was well above standard and I felt like I was never alone.
The extra touches of the private drivers were a great touch to allow the feeling of little stress and safety as a priority.
