I was pleasantly surprised to find such a charming boutique hotel in the middle of Mahón. Entering the lobby feels like a refreshing reprieve from the city streets, with its neutral facade and shutters. I loved all the little details, like the sculptures from a Spanish artist and the original windows that lead out to the sun deck. I arrived just as breakfast ended, and the staff ensured I had a coffee and a piece of homemade cake before I left! 

Authenticity

Casa Ládico was once the home of the Ládico family, a group of Greek merchants that came to Menorca in 1753. The hotel maintains some of the building's historical details, including high ceilings with exposed beams, original windows, and wood flooring.

Location

Stay in the center of Mahón, just a three-minute walk from the town's main square and market. You'll also be less than 10 minutes from the port and ferry terminal and about 15 minutes from the airport. Though a charming city, Mahón is better for boating than swimming, but you won't be too far from good beaches like Sa Mesquida and Caló Roig (both 20 minutes by car).

The rooms at Casa Ládico are cozy and modern, with light pastel tones and painted wood-beamed ceilings. All have air conditioning, minifridges, desks, and king beds, though some rooms add private terraces with seating and sunbeds. Bathrooms are clean and modern and come with ​​L'Occitane toiletries.
