Hotel Cascais Miragem, Cascais
Luxury coastal hotel with spacious rooms, an infinity pool, an award-winning restaurant, and sea views
Great pool area and staff members did a great job. Wish we would have stayed there anther day longer.
Beautiful hotel - wish we could have stayed longer.
Very nice experience, absolute delight this hotel Perfect ending to our vacation.
Our favorite of the three hotels ;)
Amazing!!!!
Overview
Kimkim's Take
- A prime location just east of Cascais means panoramic Atlantic vistas and easy access to the coast's beaches.
- Many of the spacious rooms feature balconies and terraces with views of Cascais Bay and Estoril.
- A lavish buffet breakfast is included in the rate, and you can book a table for dinner at the award-winning restaurant or grab a drink at the swanky bar.
- Choose between a dip in the hotel's elegant sea-facing infinity pool or head to the 6th-floor for a relaxing circuit through the state-of-the-art Miragem Water Lounge.
- While rooms are spacious and well-appointed, this isn't a cutting-edge design hotel and the decor is more conservative and classic than trendy.
- The bathrooms in some rooms could benefit from updates.
Authenticity
Hotel Cascais Miragem might be a large resort-style property, but its attention to detail and the quality of service sets it apart for most guests. Rooms are spacious and comfortable even by 5-star standards, the breakfast buffet is a lavish spread served on the seafront terrace, and the on-site restaurant is considered one of the best in a competitive field of Cascais culinary establishments.
Location
Situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean, you'll find several sandy beaches within a 10-minute stroll from the hotel. The historic center of Cascais is a scenic 15-minute walk west, while 25 minutes in the opposite direction takes you into Estoril. Farther afield, Sintra is a 15-minute drive away, and you can reach the Lisbon Airport in under 30 minutes. The hotel offers free parking on-site, complete with EV charging stations.
Rooms & Bathrooms
The hotel's 190+ rooms feature a decor that errs on the classic and conservative side, with a palette of golds, reds, and polished woods. Most feature balconies or terraces, but opt for the Deluxe and Premium rooms if you want to face the sea. The Deluxe Suites on higher floors have some of the best views in the house with their 180-degree vistas over the Atlantic, and the adjoining Family Rooms can accommodate up to six guests. Some of the large marble bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs, and all come equipped with Chopard toiletries.
Amenities
One of the hotel's standout features is its infinity pool, situated on the 3rd floor with panoramic views over the Atlantic. Up on the 6th floor, the Miragem Water Lounge offers an immersive relaxation space with an indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool circuit, a salt lake, and a sauna and Turkish bath. You'll also find a full spa and a well-equipped health club on the premises. An indulgent complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning in the Oásis Terrasse space, which also serves lunch, while dinner can be enjoyed overlooking Cascais Bay in the hotel's award-winning restaurant. The plush bar, complete with Botticelli murals, velvet armchairs, and ocean views, is a stylish spot to end the evening.Like what you see?

Great location, beautiful ocean views with a balcony. Large rooms (our adjoining rooms had dressing room area(s) larger than many hotel rooms). Only stayed one night so can't speak to the pool and other services.
This hotel was the last one of our trip and it was very unique being right on the coast, the view was amazing. I highly recommend staying at least two nights to have time to recharge.
We were only in this hotel for about 12 hours due to an early-morning international flight, so we didn't experience much. The rooms are spacious and the staff was friendly and courteous.
